When he's dizzy after test your might go up to him and hit R2 or whatever throw is on Xbox. I hated that part the first time through. I never used impale up to that point. Why waste a weapon on one random bad guy.

All of them except the ones at the very end are from 3.1 which is the final rev. They're just really good. The guys who did that are good at UMK3 too. They can do all kinds of infinites.

Yeah the intro is awesome. Except that it sort of makes no sense. Liu Kang should have beaten Goro in the tournament. Goro being fought near the end of the game in the Wasteland was stupid. I guess you could think of that big brawl happening after the tournament. I want to see a CGI cutscene of the end of MKDA. Kung Lao, Jax, Sonya, Cage & Kitana taking on an army of tarkatan soldiers and eventually dying. It'd be cool to see them get killed one by one while taking out a bunch of them.

Most of their normal attacks are recycled from the monks and they only have a couple fatalities. They should have just kept them in versus.

They just replace Liu and Kung's models in the cutscenes. It looks pretty stupid seeing Sub-Zero being called Liu Kang and talking like him.

Sub-Zero and Scorpion. They kind of suck.

It's better than DA and Deception. I beat it on hard last night. There is like no difference. I think Liu is the strongest..but Kung is just so cool.

There's like one save point per area, but if you die you respawn in the same room you were last in.

Because there's some co-op only secrets and I couldn't find anyone willing to play a mortal kombat game with me. I got like halfway before finally recruiting a partner.

sephiroth is kind of overrated but anyone is better than link. I just got all the secrets in shaolin monks unlocked.

I finally won. See, this is why it's best to try and try until you finally win. Now I feel happy.

I'm really mad at Shaolin Monks. I'm trying to beat co-op mode by myself and I'm stuck on the boss fight against Jade, Kitana & Mileena. They keep attacking the one I'm not controlling. I'm trying to control both, one with each hand, but it's so hard.

I liked the first two. The dark thing is kind of lame though. It's a lame cliche in any game it's in. Like it really sucked in Metroid Prime 2. Altough evil twins would be pretty cool in real life. I wouldn't mind having an evil twin.

If it was VI or III I'd care. MK games on PSP gives me a reason for needing a PSP. Now I need a reason for DS.

I played through all the fighting games in the series last night in a row. I stand by my ranking. 4 and 1 are so much better than DA and Deception.

Streets of Rage had memorable level and enemy design and excellent music. Also in most of the old beat em ups you were constantly scrolling through different environments which did a good job of hiding how repetitive the whole thing is. In a lot of these new 3D beat em ups you're stuck in a big square room fighting for what seems like a decade only to move to another big square room. The best 3D beat em up is Buffy. Because...it's Buffy. Although whoever did the voice acting for Anya in Chaos Bleeds sounds NOTHING like Emma Caulfield and that is a real crime.
