Now Famitsu is saying the same thing, about them not being on console. A shame, I really want to play HOTD4. DOA 4 looks lame. It looks like an Xbox 1 game and that series is getting old. I think IU played DOAU for about 5 minutes.

Final Fight always has cool game over/continue screens. The one in The Punisher(arcade) is good too. Megaman is the best platforming series. Better than Mario or Sonic or any modern franchise.

Nintendo still has a ton of money though. They make more profit that sony and are doing better financially. They lost because Sony made good decisions and Nintendo is constantly doing stupid things.

I just played Two Crude Dudes for the first time. Not as good as Bad Dudes. We need a new "Dudes" game to have a Dudes Trilogy.

Sega is so dumb. Although I don't think Magic Box is a very good source so I'm not worried yet. If true, it'll at least be nice not to have to hear all the posers go on about VF anymore.

Total Carnage is a parody of the Gulf war, but it is only two player.

Yeah, "I can't mooooove!" is funny. I also love how when you get to Ultron it's like "WHERE IS THE LASER!?" and he goes "ask the police". Huh? Why would the police know where the laser is and if they do why haven't they just told Captain instead of making him go fight mini-Juggernaught in Red Skull's Evil Lair? X-Men is a great game and one I plan on getting whenever I can. The only thing really stopping me is the size of the 6 player version. I thought about getting the 4 player version but it wouldn't be the same.

I recently got a Captain America & The Avengers machine. I would have to say it has some of the best voice acting ever. Gaming just isn't the same without super hero based beat em ups.

RE:A is so lame. I hate that shakey cam, you can barely see what's going on. I'd rather watch Street Fighter than either MK movie now. It's pretty funny, especially Bison. The new Street Fighter Anniversary Edition arcade is really cool.

Isn't Virtua Cop 2 a port of the PC version? HOTD 3 has 2 included, but not the original. The VF1 in Evo is not actually VF1. It's a new version made just for PS2. It's got the presentation of VF1 but plays more like 4. You can even be the newer characters. I always thought Nights was way overrated. It's too simple, linear and easy.

Ripper never got off the ground. I guess it's still possible, but it would be years from now. The animated series was nearly a reality, they even had like 10 episodes written. Then it was killed. Last year it almost came back. A 10 minute or so presentation was made to sell to networks but apparently no one was interested. The new Angel & Spike comics are going to address what happened after Not Fade Away. Sounds like they're not going to show it all, but instead reveal it bit by bit with flashbacks. The writers have said most of the major characters will return eventually, but didn't say in what form. The Spike comic coming out soon is about Halfrek, so I'm hoping for an Anya cameo.

I really enjoyed it. Very funny and silly. The 4 are so likeable, it's just fun to watch them bicker. The only problem was that the climax with Doom didn't match all the set up. In the end he had no plan or goal, just kill the good guys, and he was beaten in like 30 seconds. Not much of a battle.

I think gaming keeps getting better as it gets more mainstream. We get more good games now than we ever got......Except 2D fighters and beat em ups.

It would be Zelda....but better. The original NES game had a barebones old school story and the series has evolved to tell a deeper, more detailed story. I don't see why it couldn't get even better and still be Zelda. WW is close already.

The new characters in MK have been horrible since 4. They don't feel like they belong, it's like they're trying too hard to have "cool and badass" characters. Meanwhile Tekken has introduced some of it's best characters lately. Steve Fox, Feng, Raven...

Well the PS2 is on track to outsell the PSX so I am sure they can still grow. More children are getting old enough to play games and groups like women are playing more games. As long as old gamers don't quit they'll grow. I also sort of miss the days when arcade ports where different than the arcade and each would be different. It's just a nostaglic thing. I'm playing Super SF II on Genesis right now, even though I have access to like 10 other versions that are superior, just because it's slightly different.

Konquest would be good if done right. I'm getting so sick of MK and it's story. It's reminding me of what happened to WWE, with me slowly losing interest as they continue to write horrible stories. Deception's Konquest mode makes no sense and doesn't even follow the basic MK timeline at all. John Vogel did a good job in MKDA but now really sucks. MK Shaolin Monks looks to ruin the MK story even more. There are some RIDICULOUS retcons already known. Kung Lao was in MK1? Huh? It looks like MKSM is going to completely rewrite MK and MK II even more than they already have been. Meanwhile we still have almost no idea what happened during MK4.

Playing SSFII on Genesis has me wondering....if Blanka's mom gave him the anklets when he was a boy how do they still fit? He's just been wearing them for like 20 years and they grow along with him?

It's pretty much more of the same, but without the radar. Instead you have to use sonar and first person mode to see where the bad guys are. Adjusting to not having the radar is hard at first. I don't really think camo and eating is either a positive or a negative. Eating is basically just a more detailed substitute for the old rations. Camo is kind of interesting, it's fun to be hiding right in front of someone but they can't see you. The boss fights are good. More in line with MGS1 and 2. The ending is also one of the best ever.

MGS3's codec and movie length is more like MGS1 than 2. It may even have less than 1. Once you get past the first hour's tutorials. The story is really good too. I wasn't interested inthe 60's setting or playing as Big Boss before it came out but I ended up thinking it was great. It really makes you see Big Boss and Ocelot in a different light. If you liked MGS1 I think you should give it a chance.

I haven't played Xenosaga because I didn't like Xenogears. Just about anything could be better with more movies. Zelda would be better if it had a FF style story and movie scenes. Fighting games could benifit from a one player mode with movies. The CG cutscenes in Tekken are already really cool, it'd be even better if you saw more of them inbetween matches instead of the weak real time scenes. They should remake all the FF games with modern movies. It'd be really cool to see the world get destroyed in FF VI with CGI. But just because I said I want more doesn't mean I want it to the extreme like your MK example. The Tekken game would need a regular arcade one player and two player mode. It seems like you're just trying to make up an example like that just to "prove me wrong", which is silly since it should be obvious I don't mean 30 minute scenes between each fight. Or maybe I threw it out because I like replying to topics here and I like movies? Is it really much of a stretch? How many times have I said this same thing or talked about how much I like CG scenes? And who are you calling argumentative? You're fighting over my intent.
