Just beat it. Only took like 15 hours. Chapters 1-3 are the meat of the game. It's like 12 of the hours. 4, 5, 6 and 7 are pretty much more action game and less RPG. It's like a big linear rollercoaster ride of huge battle after huge battle. Really great story though. By the end it felt like an epic adventure.

Doyle's death makes me cry. The music is so sad. Death is like the best thing Joss writes and all he had for Anya is "that's my girl, always doing the stupid thing". I want to meet him so I can let him know that sucks.

Dawn is annoying on purpose. I find it funny. It reminds me of the banter between my sister and I. Next month is the 2 year anniversary of Chosen. It will be a day of mourning.

Yeah, the Plyea arc was thought up at the last minute when Benz was too busy to return for the originally planned end. We almost didn't get Connor. When they found out Darla couldn't return in season 2 they just about killed her off in Reprise.

I thought KOTOR II was great until the very end when it just completely fell apart. You can tell it was rushed since there's files floating around on the net of cutscenes that got cut from the game.

I don't know about foreign magazines, but Gamefaqs is much better than any mag I know of. That's another thing that has really sucked the past few years. I remember back in 97 EGM2 had a complete guide to FF VII when it was first out. With FF XII you'll be lucky to get a full page. Magazines used to also actually cover fighting games. Even Gamepro had some actual content. Now all you get is awful reviews from staff who know next to nothing about the subject. Another thing about IGN is that they are extremely unprofessional. They don't come off as journalists at all. More like dumb teens. It's hard to take them seriously. Just look at how Matt Cassimassma or whatever his name is hypes up all the Nintendo fans with his cryptic hints at how great and world changing the latest Nintendo project is. That's what I hated about Gamefan and Gameplayers. It was impossible to take them seriously. They spent too much time trying to be funny and wacky.

I can't even remember the last time I've been swayed by a review in either a magazine or a big online site like IGN. All of the games I buy I am already sold on or familiar with because of it being a sequel, from a company I like, from previews or impressions from other people online. By the time the reviews are out I've already made up my mind. The vast majority of the time I only buy games I end up liking. I can't even recall the last time I bought something and was surprised to find out it sucks. Magazines in general have really lost their appeal to me. I used to subscribe to like 5, now I only get GI and that's only because the guy working at GS pressured me into it so much I just gave in to get him to shut up about it. There's no point. I can get all the news earlier by reading the internet and reviews are always late, way after I've made up my mind about buying something(or already bought it in some cases). They really should try to get some more exclusive content. I don't know what kind, but I do know articles about celebs playing games is NOT the key. And GI just really sucks. Last issue they rambled about how MK Deception has great gameplay while basically ignoring T5. and it seems like EVERY issue of the letters section has some girl gamers complaining about mistreatment.

I'm playing it now. It seems cool, but combat feels really jerky and choppy. So much so I'm wondering if it's my Xbox messing up.

I'm pretty sure 360 is the real name. The logo is probably just a circle with Xbox 360 in the middle. I guess the idea behind the name is that you can play people all over the world or something. Supposedly the reason for 360 instead of 2 is that MS was afraid people would think PS3 is superior because 3 is more than 2. As long as it has some good games and a controller that isn't fat I'll buy it.

Xenon makes no sense. Why would the next Xbox be named after a gas? I've gotten used to Xbox 360.

Jade Empire just came out today. I'm going to pick up my copy right now.

Dawn isn't too bad. She's funny in season 7. I still like Riley. I would get a new signature pic along with my new avatar, but it's impossible to find good images of Xander and Anya together. I must showcase Xanya forever.

Well, Co-op is only like 2 hours and once you've beaten it once you've pretty much seen it all. I don't know if I'd buy it just for co-op. The deathmatch is so barebones. There's only 5 stages.

I got the LE version today. So far(like 2 hours in) it's really great. I love all the cinematic stuff. It's my kind of FPS. Feels like you're in a horror movie. And you can't beat classic Doom & Doom II split screen co-op.

I stopped taking IGN seriously after the McGriddle debacle.

The original Xbox controller had the best layout, but it was too big. Controller S sucks.

Yeah, exactly. In fact it's about time for it to pop up again. Usually it comes up around this time hyping how it's going to be at E3.

I forgot about Rona. I hate her too. And the Bringers.

The AI is so bad. It's funny how Scorpion will like flip out and do like a million teleports in a row.

No. It's never been annouced. Someone in the press reports that it's possibly coming like 4 times a year or so but rare continues to deny it. According to them the KI team is split up, busy and doesn't really have any ideas to improve KI so they have no desire or plans to make it.

Have you played it? Don't just go by what the press says. It could be really good....

Not really. It's kind of weak. MK Advance is marvelous!
