I'm playing it now. It's ok, I guess. DOA1 is a nice bonus, but the game is unplayable now, like most other old 3D fighting games. The new version of DOA2 is like an expansion pak of DOA3. It even has the same menus. The backgrounds are amazing! Really cool designs and the best graphics in a fighting game. Too bad the gameplay is still just DOA. I'm already losing interest in this after like 30 minutes. DOA3 and 2 are too close. I can't believe the press hated on Tekken 4 for being too much like TTT(which is ridiculous) but are loving this game. Oh, and the CG movie for DOA2 is really impressive. At least graphically. I can't tell what's going on as far as story goes because the DOA plot is so confusing and poorly translated. It has to have the most incoherent story ever. It makes KOF's nonsense look like a work of art.

T5 has been delayed, but I don't think anyone knows just how much. I think everybody's expecting an early November release now.

No, there isn't anyone new, besides the final boss being different. The game is DOA1 and DOA2, so it's actually a downgrade in some ways compared to DOA3. They added hitomi from DOA3, but Brad and Christie are missing.

Baraka! Baraka is back! What a great choice for a returning character and for the first character to be show. We haven't seen him in an original game since MK II and he's always been popular. Also, the next issue of PSM is going to have a huge story on the game. They've played it and will be the first to go into detail about it.

Li Mei won a tournament hosted by the DA, they don't mean she was the winner of MKDA or that she beat people like Sub-Zero or Jax. The tournament Li Mei won is a side-story, as far as we know nobody else in MKDA was involved. It was among the people of her village. Although come to think of it, she did beat Kano before MKDA....so I'd move her up a tier. I might be underrating Kenshi too.

So the topic of Power tiers came up today. If you don't know what they are, it's when you rank the characters power in the story from most powerful to weakest. I am thinking about it now and here's what I've come up with so far.... Tier 1: Liu Kang, Raiden, Shao Kahn, Shinnok Tier 2: Onaga, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung Tier 3: Goro, Kintaro, Motaro, Bo' Rai Cho, Ermac, Fujin, Moloch, Noob Saibot, Scorpion, Shujinko, Sub-Zero Tier 4: Ashrah, Baraka, Blaze, Cyrax, Drahmin, Havik, Hotaru, Jax, Cage, Kabal, Kano, Kitana, Mavado, Kung Lao, Reiko, Reptile, Sektor, Sindel, Sheeva, Smoke, Sonya, Li Mei, Kenshi, Mileena Tier 5: Hsu Hao, Jarek, Stryker, Tanya, Dairou, Darrius, Jade, Kai, Khameleon, Nightwolf, Nitara, Rain, Sareena Tier 6: Kobra, Kira, Frost, Mokap Edit: moved Li Mei, Kenshi and Mileena up one tier.

The only thing I don't like about cards is the fact that you need one for each character you play. That just sucks! I play a bunch of characters, either seriously or just to mess around with. I want one single file to record ALL my wins/loses and time spent. It'd be really cool to see that after like 2 years of playing. I'm probably going to end up buying a card for Kazuya, Jin, Law, Marduk, Bryan & Paul...and that's just the default roster. Being able to bring your own PS2 stuff is the best new hardware related feature to be added in a fighting game since...um, I can't even remember. It's genius.

She's one of the SITs in Xander's dream. That scene is weird. It's like the only time you see or hear of Xander's place in late S7. I didn't even know he still lived there. There's a scene in an early ep where he's sleeping over at Buffy's. I always wondered why he didn't have more Scoobs and SITs live there. Like there's no reason for Anya and Giles to live at Buffy's. Anyway, Dirty Girls really sucks.

Yeah, I want Namco to go all out with T5's home version just so the press will like it. Better reviews will hopefully mean better sales, which makes for a better chance at T6. If it takes novelty modes to get T6 then I'm all for it. So far I don't think the press will like it. Even though most the reports from knowledgeable fans have been positive, except for people bitching about the damage. I am so hyped. Just a couple weeks.....

Joss is mean and hates his fans. At least Spike and Wes got nice, satisfying deaths. NFA gets me hyped up everytime I watch it. Especially the end scene and the scene where they all meet to get their assisments. The look Angel and Wes share! Same with Chosen.

I really hate that Bringer. And yes, I knew about Adam and Amber. I try to follow all the gossip about the Buffyverse actors. Emma should start dating Nicky.....even though he's married. She was going to be at the Kerry fund raiser. Even though she is Republican, she is voting for Kerry. Too bad she missed it, I haven't seen any pics of her recently. She posted at her fan forums a couple weeks ago though.

Would that be part of the Joss is a jerk who hates his fans collection? They should do a Chosen Anya figure. She could have a sword and be in the pose she was in when the ubies rushed in and she says "bunnies" for the last time. It could be a two pack with Andrew. That'd be pretty cool. I also want bank robber Anya from Him. She could come with a removable ski mask and bags full of money. They could also do a box set for Selfless. Present day covered in blood Anyanka, Russian Revolution Anyanka and Aud.

It's just a major sign that it's not going to happen. Especially anytime soon. ME is closing up shop...it's over. I'm going to have to live with Chosen as the end forever. I can't bear to think of this. It's so depressing. I would do anything to change it. I would give up the entire Angel series and Firefly just to slightly alter Chosen so that I could be satisfied with the end. Now there is almost no chance. I don't know how I will move on. On the bright side, I ordered the OMWF Anya figure yesterday. Now I'll have Magic Box Anya, Hells Bells Anya, Anyanka Anya, Bunny Anya and OMWF Anya. Soon my army of tiny plastic Emmas will rule the world.

No, he didn't really say that. In fact it looks like my hopes for new tv were entirely crushed tonight. He said there have been no talks for TV movies or a return of Angel. And then there's this.... Joss done with tv I'm gonna cry.

I just went over to IMDB. John Tobias and Ed Boon as writers? Uh...ok. As far as anyone knows the movie doesn't have a script, in fact I don't recall them ever even finding a writer to accept the project. They had one, but he bailed. They've also said the MK: Domination name is not real. I care about MK4. I like it's story and Shinnok is better than Onaga.

I really wouldn't go by what IMDB says. Talk about the movie has been like non-existant from credible sources. MKA had a deleted scene that set up MK4, but it's been so long since MK4 I would guess they would just base it on MKDA.

Yes, he is very much like Moloch. And I like the game a lot, but it's basically MKDA version 2. The roster is great, the story is good, and the new features are all welcome. But I don't think the core gameplay is as good as the old games.

Come back? MKDA sold over 2 million. MK's been back.

But SMG is in it. I have some desire to see it because of that.

Anyone live in LA? Joss is hosting some Kerry fundraiser party and a bunch of Buffyverse actors are going to be there, including Aly, Nick, Alexis, Benz, Lenk, and some writers. Wow that is so cool. I wish I could go! I don't even like Kerry, but I'd still donate funds if it meant meeting nick brendon.
