The acting from Heidenrich was some of the worst I've ever seen. Watching it made me embarassed to be a former fan of wrestling.

The best thing about Underneath is Illyria mentioning the world with nothing but shrimp. I've been watching season 7 on FX again. I'm so hyped for the DVD set. It needs to come out NOW. I'm tired of waiting.

Yes, any Gunn story about his gang of vampire hunters was pretty lame.

Love? That's what Heartthrob sets up. It fits in with his fatherly love and the Cordy ship. Could also be vengeance.

Family is also brought up in Angel's fantasy world in Awakening. I'm watching Release now. Seems like they kind of dropped Connor being part demon. Feels like they were going somewhere with that.

OMWF being voted off is just a tragedy.

I don't care about DS enough to get any of the imports. I got DS on PSX, NW on Saturn and DS3 on PSX. Besides slowdown the thing that bugged me about DS1 on PSX was that it came out after NW on Saturn. WTF? That was so dumb... Even the second version of MK Gold is still glitchy. All of the Midway DC launch games had to get new versions.

Noticing differences is fine. I like doing it. But there's a difference between that and freaking out that something is just unplayable. It's not just SFA3 either. The other Alphas are good on PSX. So are the two SF Collections. Darkstalkers 3 is pretty good. You have just now played MK4(well, a version of it)? It's not exactly like MK3 with weapons. They added a sidestep and took away the character specific chain combos.

SCE does have Hyper Fighting. It's just like the SNES Turbo. You can pick between playing CE or HF.

Just because you've got the arcade or an arcade perfect port doesn't mean other versions are just RUINED~! I've got a MVS and I still play stuff like Garou on DC.

SCE is weak.

MK's slogan was "Prepare yourself". MK II was "Nothing, nothing can prepare you for this!" By overblown hype I mean the tendancy for hardcore fans to declare a game "ruined" if it's just slightly not as good as the arcade or another version. Like often Saturn has the best ports with PSX being downgraded. In some cases it's a big deal, like the Marvel games. But in others like the Alpha games it's not really a huge issue. There's nothing wrong with playing the PSX port of Alpha 3. Yet you'll still see people whine and moan about it being totally worthless. SNK fans are the worst at this.

I always liked the MK ads. The whole "prepare yourself" slogan was cool. In the Buffy ep "A New Man" you can see my favorite character holding a comic book with the ad on the back. This is in fact the coolest moment in the history of mankind. Acclaim published X-Men:COTA in America because Capcom was going through big finacial problems at the time. The PSX port is awful. It's one example where "omg it's missing frames~!" isn't just overblown hype. The arcade version of SF:TM is kinda cool, at least in novelty way. I liked it more than the home one. You gotta love the palatte swap ninja characters that were hidden. MK is better than Street Fighter.

Their old Konami games were awesome. But still...it's TMNT. They're not "real" video game characters! Plus TMNT is just lame in general.

Buffy's "Lies My Parents Told Me" connects to Angel's "Orpheus" which then connects to Buffy's "Dirty Girls". Then Angel's "Home" connects to Buffy's "End of Days" and then "Chosen". They're all set up pretty loosely. It's more like a character from one goes to the other for a while then returns. There's no big complicated stories between them. You can understand what's going on perfectly. There's also a part in Angel S4 where an Angel character calls a Buffy character on the phone, but there was nothing done about it on the actual Buffy show.

I listened to Spin The Bottle commentary already. It's pretty funny. The stories about how everyone kept laughing was good. New Avatar! The bunny will be missed...

Acclaim was responsible for the marketing, so "Mortal Monday" and all the hype is something they should get credit for.

It is. Joss admits it. On the commentary for Chosen he says he knows the ubies should be harder to beat and that the amulet is a major dues ex machina ending, but that he felt the meaning and themes of the story were more important than the magic and fighting. That's his justification for why nobody seems to care that Anya and Spike died. He wanted a happy ending...but he also has a fetish for killing people...so he used "shorthand". Uh, ok Joss. The Ubie thing isn't really that bad though, if you really watch Chosen. They are not really killing them left and right. It's more like holding them off. The Slayers kill a few, but it's mostly whoever has the Scythe. Xander doesn't kill any. Wood doesn't. Giles kills one. Dawn kills 3, but it's with sunlight. Andrew kills none. Spike kills none(and doesn't even have a weapon, WTF?). The goofiest thing is Anya, who kills two ubies and can sword fight like a master. She even kills one of the ubies by cutting them in the stomach!

I never understood why the soul spell was such a huge deal that only Willow could do. It was like one of her first spells back when she struggled to float a pencil. Why can't Wes do it? The magic levels of the characters on both shows is always changing. Giles and Anya are the worst in that regard. They both will range from being totally useless to high level magic users at a moments notice.

"Shippage" is funny. So are the cute little mix of names, like Xanya and Spuffy. "Spuffy" is the both the worst and best word ever. No, I am not Yuna's sister. Although she likes FF, so I wouldn't mind it. I bet I could get her into Buffy. Willow's so cool. I don't understand how anyone could possibly hate her. Aly is just so..likable. Will was my favorite female character for a while.

It IS funny. I love Manny The Manager(no joke, that's just his name). The "meat process" thing. The cow hat. The zombie-like co-workers. It's such a funny parody of what it's like to work in that field. Jane is the best writer ever. Also, it's the first appearance of Halfrek. The scene where she comes to curse Xander and then realizes it's Anyanka is hilarious. I like how she's like "half the time I never know if I'm cursing the right guy" all casually.

Flooded is funny, Life Serial is funny, Hells Bells is funny...there's tons of funny in S6. Even the depressing eps have Emma, who is ALWAYS funny...except when being left at the alter and being cut in half. Even DAWN is pretty funny in S6. The OMWF Xander twist is stupid. That is true. Ever noticed the songs make it so you can't lie...yet he denies it's him in song? He blames it on witches(some EVIL witches!) and all that. So stupid. Still, the ep is classic. Plenty of stuff in S4 makes little sense too. Warren's funny. He ends up doing more damage than Jasmine anyway. He kills Tara and screws up Will forever. Gun or not.
