Yes. Who cares about the plot? The point is the songs. No ep of Angel has Xanya dancing in their underwear or any monster as cool as Sweet. But what's up with Buffy not hearing Giles' sing? In the other songs they obviously can understand each other.

David's acting is so bad in the Buffy/Angel scenes. It's still kind of awkward even as far as Angel season 5. He makes this weird, goofy looking face all the time. Usually when he's sad. I am watchin OMWF now. This is better than anything on Angel!

She is funny when she is sarcastic and when she bugs Buffy. All the scenes with Andrew in S7 are funny, like when she and Anya are "interogating" him. I like it when they're like throwing water at him and slapping him and Buffy comes in and they run over and sit on the couch like they're innocent.

Halloween (26) Really boring. The middle just drags on so much. Lame premise for a monster of the week situation. Lead to the ridiculous "Xander knows stuff about the army" stories. Exchange for Triangle: Very funny ep. first appearance of the mighty Olaf. Rare interaction between Anya and Willow. Pretty big turning point in the Xanya ship. I Only Have Eyes for You (42) Boring. Very awkward acting by David. Exchange for Pangs: One of the funniest eps ever! The stuff with Buffy being obsessed with thanksgiving is hilarious. The ONLY interaction between Anya and Angel ever. That makes it historic!

I liked her more as time went on. She's kind of funny sometimes when she's sarcastic. I hate it when she's in a crisis though. Like I was watching Older and Far Away yesterday. Yikes. The stealing story sucks. And who can forget..GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!! Also, Emma oversells in that ep. It's really awkward when she is all sad about Dawn stealing from the shop and that weird paranoia thing she has got going on.....and what's with the poodle skirt? That's up there with her pilgram outfit from grave when it comes to weird Anya attire. There are times when the costume directer really needs to be fired. Like Xander's big dot sweater in Yoko Factor! That's just awful!

Heh. I was actually insinuating that your opinion is held in such low regard amongst fellow Smarks members that what you say holds little to no weight in any argument or discussion. How do you know what others think about my credibility? Just because they argue with what I say doesn't mean it holds no weight. Actually, why would they argue with me so much if what I say means nothing? Whatever though. If you're right that kinda sucks, but oh well. You're pretty mean. I disgree with your statement that Warren was a better villian because, and I quote, "Warren is hilarious. That makes him better." Ok... since when does comedy make a better villain? When I say so. a villain by definition, is a wicked or evil person. How wicked can an evil person be if they make you laugh and laugh often? I think the ideal villain is menacing, dark, violent and most of all, ruthless. Normally I agree, but Warren isn't just funny. He's REALLY funny. He's like the best! The Trio, on the other hand, were not menacing, nor dark or ruthless... they were funny and borderline huggable (Come on! Who doesn't wanna hug Jonathan!? Poor guy). They're not just borderline huggable. Jonathan is the least cute though. I mean really, did anyone ever once want to hug The Beast? Rudo.

I think MK II for SNES was their shining moment. Still the best home version of that game.

We should rank eps based on how much and how good of Xanya content they have. I nominate Triangle.

Warren is hilarious. That makes him better. Even Joss and the other writers agree: The Trio are the best villains they've ever had. We should do one big show vote off, with 64 Buffy eps and 64 Angel eps. Even though it'd be a big hassle to organize, if Mole put it together I'd be willing to hold things. We just need to do SOMETHING. Rudo's idea of picking an ep to watch that's on DVD and then discussing it was good. It'd be pretty fun. It's too bad we never had a chance to discuss old school stuff as it was happening. I was thinking about my top 10 Buffy eps today in class. My list consists of mostly monster of the week comedy eps. You'd probably all freak out.

When I think of the Whedonverse I think of Buffy. I think of the scoobies and I think of Buffy eps. It is #1. It is my main focus. Angel is a spinoff. It's like a side story. It's something I watch in addition to Buffy, not with it like it's the same. It's like Heat compared to RAW. I don't care about it nearly as much. And that's not really saying anything against Angel. It's more putting over Buffy. Angel is my second favorite show and I am obsessed with it...just not as much.
