The Jane Espenson interview at Whedonesque is really cool. She talks about season 7 suckage. I like how she puts over my favorites. Anya/Giles ship........hmmm....that would be cool but weird. I have noticed some shippage between them before. Like in Grave...

MK1 is no longer part of Midway Arcade Treasures 2. You have to buy these limited editions if you want it. MAT 2 now just has MK II and 3. Lame.

I don't get why Xbox gets multiple boxarts but PS2 gets one. Also not sure which Illl get. As a collector, I might get all of them. I have seen a lot of people hate on Alpha 3 for PSX.

Well even storyline wise usually even the biggest of big bad bosses are beaten by regular characters. Like look at Ogre. Paul and Jin beat him. Also, Tekken is different than most fighting games. It's not like Shao Kahn or Shin Akuma where the bosses are either unplayable or only playable with a button code. They are just normally playable(though usually time released). Picking Ogre isn't any different than picking Kuma. The only thing that makes him a "boss" is the storyline and the fact that you always fight him on stage 10. Maybe it isn't a big deal between you and your friends, but when you play at the arcade you can't rely on others to be noble.

The "only" ones? That's like 5 characters. And no, they're not the only ones more/less powerful. TTT(and every other Tekken) has a full set of tiers. Like Wang and Jun are the opposite of Ogres, they're awful and way underpowered. Why should Ogre dominate? In a perfect world everyone would be totally balanced.

Everyone that's played it says T5 is more like T3/TTT than T4. Uneven ground is out, the wall system is simplified and the controls are more oldschool(jumping and low blocking with D is back). JFLS is not the only thing that makes Jin good. Actually it's probably somewhat overrated. Safe moves like 2,1 and the parry are just as big factors for making him so good. Jin is too good, but he isn't alone. Lee, Nina and Fox are also too powerful. It's not just T4 either. None of the Tekken games have been balanced. In TTT Mishimas and Ogres dominate.

I guess it could go either way. Like Xander wasn't actually a soldier, he just was one in his mind.

Raven has more in common with Kunimitsu than Bruce, but according to Tekkenzaibats's sources Bruce is going to be one of the hidden characters.

I've been following all the news from the various location tests at Zaibatsu. I even became a supporter in preperation for T5. God, I can't wait. I want to get back in the groove of going back to the arcade every day. I really want to check out Feng Wei. Has there been any information given out in terms of the storyline for this one? I heard Heihatchi is finally killed off in Tekken 4, however where I got that I cannot remember. Yeah, the main story and 12 character bios are known, but most is just in Japanese(we've got translations though). Heihachi won Tekken 4. He is killed shortly after by an army of Jacks. It seems like he is alive though. The story mentions a lone figure climbing out of the wreckage and some "mystery" person is running the Mishima Zaibatsu and hosts T5. It's surely him.

He did get the gun there. I just watched that ep a few weeks ago. Since everything was real in that ep, it wasn't some alternate dimension or something, technically Willow has died. Kinda weird. Same deal with Nightmares. Buffy becomes a vamp. Even though everything goes back to normal she was still dead.

I'm pretty sure she knows how to spell her own name. OMG she is evil on Monk!
-
Way of the Samurai 2. It's KOTOR meets Bushido Blade~!
-
They spelled her name wrong in the credits!!!!
-
Maybe. The bunny suit is the coolest. I hope she isn't like a killer that goes to jail.
-
Emma is on Monk tonight in 30 minutes on USA. I'm gonna watch!

Yeah, I just beat Psi-ops. It's really good. The powers are a very innovative and entertaining gimmick. There really is nothing like it in gaming. It's very short, but well designed. Everyone should get it! It's cheap now too.
-
Yeah, but the other half has never even seen the Buffy people. Also nobody on Buffy past the high school years ever met Angel's people. Andrew talking to Fred is cool.
-
I watched Dopplegangland today. It's soo good. I was thinking about Pangs. Anya has this line where she sees Angel and goes "so this is angel?" as if they'd never met. This got me thinking. She is in DopplegangLand, The Prom and Grad Day 1 yet never met Angel? Surely they did! So I watched Dopplegangland to be sure. It's weird to think of how Angel's crew like has never met Buffy's. Like Anya has met Angel ONCE. Xander wouldn't even know Gunn exists.

Yeah, actually that should be X-Men COTA was the last capcom game that wasnt all halfassed. Vampire Savior and 3rd Strike - Wow it only took TWO upgrades to get to a great game! Alpha 2 is what Alpha 1 should have been. I like those games too, I even like their earlier incarnations, but it's sad it takes a bunch of upgrades to get them to the point where they're finished. Like CvsS1 was basically a commercial for 2.

So what has come after MSH that has been a classic? Everything that's come afterwards has either been an upgrade, needed upgrades to get great or been something weak like Jojo. When was the last time Capcom released a project that was just perfect the way it was?
-
Mortal Kombat 3 is a lot better than MK II. MSH doesn't have 3D stages but it's the last REALLY good Capcom 2D fighter. Everything after has been halfassed.
-
I'll get both. My favorite will be whichever has Tekken, MK, FF and MGS.
-
I had this reply written out 3 times but my PC keeps locking up so Ill keep it short. Tidus/Yuna is the best ever and Square's teen angst love stories should be in every game ever made, including games in genres like puzzle and fighters. Capcom's 3D stages suck bad and everything they've done since MSH has been weaksauce. PS - Goro's music in MK1 for SNES is cool.

FFX's story is soooo good. Best love story in games second only to VIII.
