Capcom vs. SNK is a massive disappointment. What SHOULD have been one the most monumental releases in 2D fighter history turned out to be just another Capcom fighter with Alpha sprites. *Yawn*.

I got all 14 endings in Way of the Samurai 2. Go me.

Perfect Dark is a good one. My big issue with PD is the pace of the game. The great thing about GE was that unlike most FPS, it has a really slow, methodical pace. They tried to speed it up and it just doesn't work with the engine. What a mess.

I've been trying to expand my arcade playing beyond T4 and have started playing SC II and one of the arcade versions of DDR. It's fun, but god I'm horrible.

Official X-Box Magazine's September issue has reached subscribers, and it includes a look at bios for several characters from Mortal Kombat: Deception, including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Mileena, Baraka, Raiden, and newcomers Shujinko and Darrius! The newly revealed character bios follow: * Darrius: Leader of the Resistance in the Realm of Order, Darrius lives a life in the shadows. His ambition is to overthrow the oppressive regime that strangles freedom. To some he is a hero... but to others he is nothing more than a terrorist. * Shujinko: Long before Liu Kang had won the Mortal Kombat tournament in Earthrealm, Shujinko had begun his quest to retrieve the Kamidogu for the Elder Gods. His journey took him to many realms where he met many experienced warriors. * Scorpion: In his haste to confront his nemesis, Quan Chi, he was ambushed by two Oni and cast into a powerful soulnado. He would have been torn apart by the souls trapped there had he not escaped into the Void. In this place, he first set eyes on the fabled Elder Gods. * Sub-Zero: While still in Outworld, the Lin Kuei Grand Master, Sub-Zero, discovers the secret of his true heritage - the source of his mastery over cold temperatures. This discovery will aid him in the fight to destroy the Dragon King's vile and bloodthirsty Tarkatan hordes. * Baraka: Baraka's Tarkatan race is a mutated hybrid of Netherealm and Outworld species. A loyal warrior, Baraka faithfully serves his new master, the Dragon King, by preoccupying Outworld opposition with his Tarkatan hordes, the backbone of the Dragon King's terrifying army. The article also features images of Darrius and Shujinko; Darrius is a bald man with sunglasses, wearing a sleeveless leather tunic, while Shujinko is an old man with white robes and long white hair, reminiscent of Pai Mei from the movie Kill Bill. Shujinko in particular is boring, there's enough old guys in MK. Darrius is probably a new name for the Dairou character that's been mentioned. Updated confirmed roster: Default 1. Scorpion 2. If the Trigger was supposed to get Spike killed then FE once again looks like a huge dumbass. It had countless chances to have Spike go crazy and need to be staked, instead it had him chill out in the basement because it "wasnt time yet". Amends was supposed to get BUFFY killed, it just settled with Angel. If it's original plan was to kill angel it woudl have just left him in hell.

Why would it mind? A good guy killing himself is good news for a baddie.

If it knew it would have had the vamp kill himself. If it KNOWS Spike is going to stop it if he gets the amulet, why not have Spike jump into a kiddy pool full of Holy Water? The whole Trigger thing makes little sense as is, it's even worse if you say it knew ahead of time Spike is the key to the apocalypse.

There's no indication it does and if it did know it makes it look even more retarded than it already comes off as.

He apparently blew himself up to stop the Dragon King. Not sure about his MKDA ending or any other. It looks like Deception takes place RIGHT AFTER DA though, so a bunch, if not all, MKDA endings may end up being non-canon.

She's been good for like nearly a DECADE too. I guess she just likes her evil looking hair and outfit. I hate how like every girl in the game is wearing a swimsuit.

They did the same thing in 1995 and then shocked the world(especially Sega...) by announcing the PSX would be only 300. PS2's US price was kept secret for a long time too. Did everyone just forgot all the "OMFG ITS GOING TO BE 600 DOLLARS ITS DOOMED~! DC WILL TAKE OVER~!" stuff from back then?

Every report from those who've played T5 has been really positive. IGN just started a new feature where they're going to reveal the bios for the characters in MKD. First up is Raiden, Sindel and Mileena. Raiden's is interesting....he is dead!

Wait for Sony to actually annouce the price..... PSP needs Tekken and MK and I'd pay anything for it.

I really don't see why Capcom would be freaking out over a living character being dead in the movie version of the story. The movies are not canon in the games' mythos, so what's the big deal? It's not like this has any effect on RE4 or any other game. From the looks of it they just mentioned his name as kind of a reference or wink to the fans. I find that to be a pretty cool touch. It's not any different than Shang Tsung dying in the Mortal Kombat movie. That's not part of the game but the movie was successful and loved anyway.

All the Tekken 5 news and updates have temporarily lowered my interest in Deception. The game needs to come out now.
