I'm not sure. People are arguing about that but I haven't seen a definitive answer.

I know a couple good players that have been playing it and they say the slowdown only happens when there's big characters throwing and that it does not effect gameplay.

T5DR didn't come out until 2005... I don't think Evo's one player mode is that good. Maybe one of the best one player modes in a fighting game but still not worth playing the game for. No AI or modes ever capture the feel of playing humans. Also, just for Andrew....GGXX is lame. Except Bridget.

Yeah I had the same problem with Gears tonight. I beat it on Hardcore difficulty just now and am starting on Insane.

You can set up a foreign account to get it now on a US PS3. I am not going to bother though. I have it on PSP so I'll wait for US release. No practice mode is lame.

An Andrew request: In 2005 in Meijer while buying a PS2 game this employee started going on about how he was getting a PS3 soon. When I brought up how it isn't out yet he claimed he was ordering it off the internet from Japan. I've always wondered if he was lying to impress me, very stupid or getting scammed. I kinda hope he ended up getting one of those PSX things.

I heard the Wii recall thing last week. I also heard that "PS3 is going out of business soon". Once when I was working retail I got into an argument about not having "The James Bond for Genesis". Apparently she wanted GoldenEye for PSX and would not accept that it didn't exist. Another woman was furious we didn't have Mario Tennis for PSX and angrily took her business to Walmart, which supposedly carried it.

Yeah, a month ago. How many people wanting to buy a video game system like that are just randomly around? You know I don't usually believe in manufactored shortage conspiracy theories but I suspect FOUL PLAY with Wii! There is no reason that hardware shouldn't be readily available no matter how big the demand is. I can't prove it but there has to be some kind of shenanigans going on here.

How is that interesting? Please no more anecdotal evidence. I could make an entire thread out of some of the dumb things I've overheard at the arcade or Gamestop.

It'd be bad news for Sony if they lost VF5. Another system getting it months later isn't that bad. Especially when it's just VF which is only relevant for the hardcore and the people that want to be hardcore. Smart from Sega though, it will do decently on both systems. The important thing is that they still have Tekken. Now that's a series that will sell millions, maybe billions, of consoles.

I like the non-linear way X-2 is set up just because it's fun to see Spira again. As a stand alone game, yeah it's one of the weaker, but I liked it just as a 20 hour epilogue. Much more satisfying then Advent Children.

You don't need 100% for Tidus. That's just an extra cutscene. X-2 has a central villain, it just takes a while to get started.

How do I not give them a fair shake? I've played through all the big ones except LTTP. X-2 is not terrible. It's not even bad. That's such hyperbole. It's not as good as the others but it's not bad. It's no Zelda CDI of FF. It's not even the worst FF. I don't need to play it again, I've beat it twice.

Um, I like X-2. I can't think of any main FF that is crap. I don't like XI but I don't like that entire genre. The NES and early SNES games are old and outdated but so are the old Zelda games. Even some of the spin off games(TACTICS) are great. It doesn't really matter anyway. VII and VIII are two of my favorite games ever. Even if the others sucked I would still put it way above Zelda.

It is still good. Better then any Zelda game. FF VI, VII and VIII alone beat out the entire Zelda series. Actually I'd say I'd take those 3 over Nintendo's entire cataloge.

I guess the Motorstorm demo you can download on PS3 is newer then the one on display and is much better.
