I still want to know what was up with the amulet. That's a pretty major plot point they've dropped. Who was it meant for? Why did they want to stop the FE? It makes no sense. I hate how after 7 years Buffy's final battle was used to hype a storyline on another show which ended up leading to nothing in the end anyway.

Moloch is really funny. The only cool thing about the Mantis lady is that the actress was Sindel in MK Annihilation. Xander is my favorite male character in the entire Whedonverse, but I hate the Pack. It's REALLY boring. There are too many shots of the pack just walking! Herbert the pig is awesome though. My problem with season 1 is that there's no ANYA. Also it looks terrible on DVD.

Hamilton is a bigger threat than that entire group, but he doesn't compare to Adam. It's hard to take these guys as the real deal when they've just shown up and been mentioned for the first time. They're the major players because...? Lindsey said so? After all the things Buffy and Angel have faced over the years this group is really anti-climatic. Buffy has taken on a god before. After that a room full of monsters of the week just isn't all that intimidating, even if you do have someone mention that they're major players. Also since when were the Senior Partners eternal and all that? Last I checked we didn't even know what they were. What EXACTLY are they? It's never made clear. I want to know how they connect to The First Evil too. They and FE sound almost exactly the same at times....

I just don't get how the credibility isn't there. They have been building this up for 5 seasons on Angel. And the heroes are facing a huge threat; the fuckin Senior Partners. They run the biggest law firm in the world, plus whatever the run in other dimensions and the fact that will ALWAYS be around. The partners have incredible build, it's the Black Thorn that has none. They came out of no where! The whole idea is dumb and was was clearly made up at the last minute. We're supposed to believe that they've been around, controlling things the entire time and we are just now finding out about? Come on... Also, tonight made last week's ep's placement look even worse. Two weeks ago Angel let that baby go and hinted at being evil. Last week he was suddenly back to being happy go lucky Buffy obsessed Angel. Then this week he's back to being cryptic and possibly evil. WTF? I don't get how Buffy season 4 is your favorite season. They made the whole Adam thing an Apacolypse, when in fact it was no where near one. All Adam wanted to do was make a huge army of demons/human body parts, but where is the end of the world? If anything, them making a huge threat out of that isn't credible. Adam is awesome and way more credible than this secret society, or Hamilton for that matter. Adam was shown beating down Buffy. We saw him kick ass. We saw how powerful he was. His grand plan may not have been about the end of the world(well, at least not right away) but at least it makes sense. What do we know about the Senior Partners apocolypse? Nothing. The idea of an army of Adams walking around is a lot more intimidating than just "these are the guys in charge of the end of the world". I don't understand how you put seasons of Angel so low on your list. Because Buffy is better than Angel. Also stuff being "so low" is relative. It's only low compared to other Buffyverse shows. I love both shows greatly. Season 3 of Angel is really cool. I just like other seasons more. The exception is Buffy season 7 which frequently makes me really sad, angry and disappointed. Just thinking about some of the stuff in it, like what happens to Xander/Anya, gets me upset.

I doubt the history thing will actually be cool. It will probably be a weaksauce overview that doesn't actually say anything interesting or accurate, like the Zelda or MK histories.

Angel's promo was really good, but it's hard to take this secret society seriously. It's kind of like the 7th season of Buffy, in how they're trying really hard to hype up how this is the biggest thing ever and how this is the supreme big bad to end all big bads and we're all gonna die....but the credibility just isn't there. The hype I have for the finale and the final battle is because it is the final battle and has little to do with the actual threat the heroes are going to face. That is way uncool. Spike having an Xbox is incredible though. I wonder if Wes is a gamer too? I bet Andrew has the best console library of the bunch. So Angel really killed Drogyn and he is just....dead. That's kinda weird and sad. How does he justify that?

Alexis! I never thought of that before. He would be such a cool Bond. Old school Wes is insanely cute.

I find it hard to get excited about a portable system. I don't know what to make of the dual screen either. I could see Nintendo doing something with it, but it seems like it'd be ignored by 3rd parties. The whole thing comes off as gimmicky.

I brought up MK II last time this came up. In particular being able to do part of sub-Zero's fatality in the middle of the match in MK II revision 1.4. There's also some other classic arcade MK glitches, like freeplay glitches in MK3 and UMK3. They were fixed though.

Best news so far.. 3 new Tekken 5 characters Asuka Kazama, Wei Feng, and Raven. A new Kazama.....well business is about to pick up. Wonder if she plays like a Mishima, like Jun, like T3 Jin or something totally new...

Yes. Season 6 is one of the best at having a clear theme and direction and building it up throughout all 22 episodes. Every single character has their own seperate arc, which still ties to the main theme. It's so awesome.

Season 6 is one of the best! Trio!! Best year for the Anya/Xander ship!! OMWF! Tabula Rasa! It is so much better than the current/recent seasons. Much better writing. Consistent, coherent direction with actual storyarcs for each character. I also don't get the complaint that it's too dark coming from those who like season 7, with it's nonstop doom and gloom "oh god, the FE is gonna kill us all" promos.

I know. But on the subject of shilling Whedon products.....everyone should order this after their done with the petition. I'm so hyped!

I'd rather it just end. No more seasons, no movies, no TV specials. Joss and the others lost it after the 2001-2002 seasons. The end of Angel has been very weak so far, but it'd probably just get worse.

What is the save system like?

Isn't there a bug or a flaw in one of the GTs where you cannot beat the game? Like it just stays at 99% forever?

I am sort of thinking about playing it. I don't have anything else on PS2 to play. What exactly is it like?

MK Gold is a pretty glitchy game, especially the first run of it. It's one of the few console games that is so glitchy they have to fix it and ship a new version. Some of the best... The save system is mentioned in the booklet and is in the menu of the game but doesn't work. It has load/save options and everything...they're just disabled. Picking Noob in his alt outfit crashes the game. The game will just randomly reset. The camera will occasionally zoom in on a wall. Even the second version is messed up. They fixed the major glitches, but kept in the smaller errors. There's still a bunch of graphical glitches, like things disapearing.

I've played hundreds of hours of PSone and PS2 on small moniters. In fact, I log in more game time on one of those than I do on my TVs. They're great.

Because the cool thing about the movie was seeing the MK story play out, which Conquest did not do very well. It's not the official story and the made up stuff wasn't very cool to begin with.
