Demon Anya is a white hat? Anyanka is a mass murderer that made men suffer for thousands of years. She probably has done more damage than Dru, Darla, Angelus and Spike combined. She's really evil and mean in The Wish. If you mean post Hells Bells then she had her love of Xander to get in the way of her evilness, even then she murdered innocent people. It is funny how Angel/Angelus and Spike are treated different. Not only in how they act but with the scoobies. Angel gets the benifit of the doubt and is treated like Angelus is a different person, or like The Incredible Hulk or Jekel and Hyde. Spike is just Spike. Even when he got his soul they still didn't trust him and still treated him like shit.

I assume you're talking about the live action show, Conquest. I saw a couple, but did not like it. I did not like it's story or how it dealt with the MK mythos. Now who remembers MK Defendors of the Realm, the animated show?

The new pics at Gamespot show a Prison stage where old school characters can be seen locked up. Jade, Drahmin, Jarek and Fujin in particular. That seems to confirms a report that the story is based on the Dragon King kidnapping everyone. So...that explains why the usual suspects like Cage and Sonya are out and the roster is made up of lesser seen characters like Nightwolf and Sindel. All the old heroes are in jail. That's pretty cool and interesting.....

Maybe Kitana just assumed it since he was a blue ninja who could freeze people. Or maybe she knew him previously since she knew his older brother. Yeah, I know what you mean about not knowing who Kahn and Shinnok are in the throne room scene. It's especially bad for Shinnok. It was even worse back when it first came out because MK4 had just been released and few knew who he was in the games. I didn't say it was as good....just that it follows the MK storyline as well as the first. Neither are perfect, but MKDA does an okay job of following the MK3 story. That CGI monster is funny! The shot of Jax like pounding on it is great.

Both brothers use the name Sub-Zero. That goes for the games too. The Sub brothers are 5th generation Lin Kuei, but it never says if the entire family are all called Sub-Zero or if it's just something the brothers use. It's also unclear if the younger brother had a name of his own, or no name at all, and took his older brother's name after his death or if they were both given the name Sub-Zero and used it at the same time. The actors for Kahn and Sindel have both appeared on Buffy.....that rules. My favorite bad moment: When Liu throws one of the Baraka clones off the cage and into the pit of fire if you look closely you can see the guy falling into the flames is not actually a Baraka at all. It's Rain! They just reused the footage from when Kahn knocked Rain into it. It's really obvious and hilarious if you look for it. I mark out so much for the Stryker and Kabal reference. Too bad they(and Quan Chi) didn't make the final cut. Shinnok is REALLY weird in it. He looks and acts NOTHING like the real one. Entirely different story and appearance. Him being evil and an Elder God is like the only thing they have in common. I actually like the way he looks in the movie more than the games though. MKA is cool. It's really funny and never gets old. I've seen it a million times and it's still fun to watch. It follows the mythos about as well as the first too.

I'm extremely hyped about the unveiling of Tekken 5. All the MK Deception info will be cool too.

As far as it being a light, funny ep I thought it worked out better without ever actually seeing SMG. The fact that The Immortal and Buffy were never shown was pretty funny.

I would not have booked dark Willow any differently. She didn't need to be in more than 3 eps. I do not think the point of it was ever to really be the big bad where she was an on going villain they fought all throughout a season. Her going evil wasn't the meat of that story, it was the apex. It was the blow off of her drug addict arc.

I think using the word "incredible" and "perfection" to describe Kain's story is stretching it quite a bit. I will never understand the hype for FF IV's story. The Kain "saga" is not exactly the most epic story ever told. Actually it's about as deep and moving as Tetris' story. Kain and Cecil will be walking along fighting goblins when suddenly Kain stabs Cecil in the back for the 6th time. Cecil: Curse your sudden, but inevitable betrayl! Kain: Ha ha ha! Mine is an evil laugh......now die~! Over and over. I guess if you really use your imagination you can paint it out to be this epic struggle between honor and loyalty or something but the actual game has like 2 sentences for it.

Liu probably won't be like Scorpion though. Scorpion is like a person reborn with a hellspawned demon body. Liu as a spirit may not have a phsyical body at all.

While the ep was pretty funny it didn't help the very poor build the end has had and the fact that this was likely the final blow off to the epic Angel/Spike/Buffy ship is pretty depressing to think about. What a shame this is the end. Just thinking about the send off both Buffy and Angel have had makes me sad and angry.

I might buy WM for XBox since it's being made by former MK developers.

From best to worst.... Buffy 4 Buffy 6 Buffy 5 Buffy 2 Buffy 3 Buffy 1 Angel 1 Angel 2 Angel 3 Buffy 7 I can't rate Angel 4 and 5 yet, but I'm sure they're no where near the top.

Nobody's made anything good though. The only people trying are shovelware developers like Acclaim and THQ. It's hard to say it will never happen when the only people trying suck. You can do games with social interactive and not ultra violence. Like RPGs. More and more older girls are getting into gaming as time goes on. There's a lot more older girls that play games now than back in the 16 bit days. I think younger girls are bound to join in eventually. and Barbie isn't going to draw in the 12-14 year old crowd no matter how good it is.

When I was like 14 I played games with violence. Developers would be smart to try to get a young female demographic involved in gaming. Besides buying the crap like the Olsen games as kids they'll eventually grow up and be potential customers for their regular games.

Not sure if you're aware, but KOTOR isn't on Ps2.

They were too hard. I beat the first but gave up on Empire. Just impossible. Too many 16 bit era games are too hard.

As I said, there's other things they could have wanted too, like for them to bundle it.

Yes, that MM collection. No one said the games have to be full price. That's the whole point. Making them budget titles increases the chances Sony will approve it.

It's not that Sony just hates 2D. Their problem with the SNK stuff is that it's on really old, outdated hardware and they feel it's ridiculous to have a game like that be full price like a game with modern technology. They want a low price, tons of added content or collections of multiple games. That is why SNK is doing these bundles. It's the same for Capcom. Hyper SF II and 3rd Strike are coming, but as a bundle. They didn't allow the old Megaman Collection, but they're allowing the new one.

FF10 still has save points, I'd imagine? Yes. Are there any characters who die suddenly (or become permanently unavailable in some other way for storyline reasons) No.
