Beast is tougher than Hamilton and sure, maybe Adam. Only reason I didn't put him higher was his weaksauce death. Beast's voice makes him twice as cool as he already is! BTW, that sun blocking statue thing he had to put together....a picture of that is on the temple Buffy enters to find the Guardian in End of Days.

Shang is the easiest of the bosses in MK II. Though he's followed by Kintaro, who is the hardest sub boss ever.
-
The gun is just awesome. I love the way he says "I've been upgrading". His confidence is the best part of him. He knows he can beat Buffy. Not like Hamilton or Angelus kind of evil, over the top ego. He knows he can beat her. Like it's a fact. He understands and is aware of their power and knows he is stronger. The way he says "interesting. Very...interesting" when she is Uber Buffy is really cool. Adam would block Hamilton's punches, snap his neck, pick up the body and toss it into space and back to Serenity. All while playing Oregon trail on his chest mounted floppy disc drive.

PS2. I like the controller more, plus it has remixed music in game.

They knew about the Uranium Core after Jonathan told Riley in Superstar. The problem with Adam was that Buffy was not strong enough to beat him. She admitted she couldn't wear him down and tear it out. She said herself she could not beat him alone. There's no comparison between what they had to do to beat Adam and what Angel did to beat Hamilton. It's like simplifying beating Glory just by saying "well, just kill Ben". Yeah that's what they did....but to get to that point it took all kinds of crazy stuff. Adam could punch a hole through Hamilton's face.
-
But she couldn't. Which makes Adam stronger, he can't be beaten so easily. None of them would be as powerful if you could bite them to get their powers. Plus Adam has that cool gun arm. Yeah, he crumbled, because he basically had his heart torn out by mysitcally hyped up Buffy. Look at the stuff Buffy was doing. She was stopping bullets, turning grenades into doves, and forcing machinary to change. She was extremely souped up then. Adam losing to her is nothing to be ashamed of. Hamilton put up a good fight, but in the end, when Angel figured it all out, all he did was jump up and bite him.
-
After he got biten it was over for Hamilton. Angel hit him like 5 times after that and it was done. I would not compare that to the spell Buffy did to beat Adam.
-
It's funny how Buffy was freaking out all year about how GIRLS WILL DIE~! about FE yet nobody has brought it up....... I don't understand what Beasty was doing with that knife in the first place. The original ubie was pretty tough. On the level of Hamilton or Caleb. He beat Buffy....

Adam was tougher than Buffy. No selling for Buffy and Spike is a lot more impressive to me than beating weak Illyria. I don't mean "no selling" like most baddies either. Complete no selling. Like it was just nothing. Caleb was tough, but Buffy beat him. Same with Hamilton with Angel. Buffy could not beat Adam, which she knew and admitted. It took Uber Buffy to beat him. The only reason Adam isn't more impressive is that he just wasn't shown enough.

Yeah, being female really makes the twist even more shocking. I NEVER thought Revan would be a girl with that name and I always think of like Darth Vader and the Emperor when I think of sith. You just assume Revan is male. I used my save file to turn evil just to see what it was like and Carth ran off all upset, saying he thought he loved me and all that. It was pretty funny. I tried getting Bastila to turn back to the lightside, but because I was a woman I couldn't use love to turn her so I ended up having to cut her head off. I know KOTOR II lets you decide how KOTOR ended. You like answer questions at the beginning to decide if they went with the light ending or the dark ending. What isn't known is how they will show Revan, since he/she would obviously look different for everyone. Maybe they won't show Revan at all.

Last years sucked, so I imagine this will too. The catagories are lame. Best voice acting? That's weak. How many games have good voice acting? There's no need for both male and female either. Hottest character? Not only is that dumb, it's all girls. No fighting game, and other genres, but they of course have sports and "xtreme" sports. What I'd vote for... Best Adaptation - KOTOR Best character - HK-47 Best cinematic - MGS Twin Snakes EB Choice Award - KOTOR Graphics - Silent Hill 3 Best Handheld: Castlevania Aria of Sorrow Best new franchise: Beyond Good & Evil Best RPG: Final Fantasy X-2 GOTY: KOTOR

Guys like Hamilton and Caleb over Adam is just insane. He would take shots from Spike and Buffy and just continue talking like it was nothing.
-
So like, after what seems like 70 delays the Megaman collection is finally out. I'm picking it up tomorrow. According to the IGN review the old glitches are gone, which is going to make Wily stage 1 impossible in MM1.
-
I was female in KOTOR..... the twist is the same. Revan was just a girl. I did the love story with Carth. I was good, so he stayed with me even after the big surprise. I wonder how KOTOR 2 is going to work with that though. It better not make Revan male by default

Villains: 1. Glory 2. Adam 3. The Beast 4. Angelus 5. Caleb 6. The Master 7. Hamilton 8. Mayor Wilkins 9. Darla 10. Drusilla
-
Adding villains makes it too hard. Top tier big bads are so much stronger than anyone. Like how would anyone top Adam? It took a massive spell creating Uber Buffy to take him down. Glory took a wrecking ball. Even weaker big bads like Caleb or The Master are way ahead of guys like Gunn or Giles. Without villains... 1.Buffy 2.Angel 3.Spike 4.Faith 5.Illyria 6.Connor 7.Wesley 8.Riley 9.Giles 10.Gunn
-
That is how Angel will be on the animated series. Notice Angel mentions he thought Buffy would look bigger? Yet later we find out he had seen her before... It's funny how Darla was a weak mid-season minion on Buffy yet became a major player years later.

Spike survived NFA.

Because she was hired and under contract as a regular. It doesn't matter how much or little you're in, it's all about your contract.

Spike's sacrifice is so weird. Like the image of him just standing there talking to Buffy while this laser beam shoots out from his chest is just silly. I hate how he is just standing there. The amulet does everything. It's also weird how he demands to stay and finish it, yet it's already done. The place is going to collaypse even if he had took it off and leave. Like 15 seconds pass after Buffy leaves before he vaporizes. The slayers did like nothing too. They kill 30 ubies at most before the amulet kicks in. Xander claims they saved the world, yet it was really Wolfram & Hart.
-
Hahah, the ubies are so weaksauce. The effects people screwed up big time in one scene. Anya slices one in the gut then the head but it starts the dusting animation after the first cut. The final battle isn't nearly as epic as I remember it. It's just a big group battle with them not doing much at all, just swinging swords. Wood looks cool with the daggers though.
-
Caleb's death was weaker than I remember. What a lame last fight. Why wasn't he in the final battle? I noticed the cut joke too. This Wood/Faith scene is good. All the build is good. The way Faith says "I got mad skills" is funny. There is something to it that makes this ep exciting, even though I know what happens and know what happens sucks. It's the final battle...
-
Yeah, but I've been watching season 7 again and seen all the eps, so I'm into the story again and want to see the conclusion. Plus it's the finale, that alone makes it special, even if it sucks. There's some good things I want to see again too, like Andrew's scenes. I don't want to see Anya die ever again, but I am compelled to. It's like driving by a car wreck. I just have to look. Not Fade Away got better as I watched it more. Maybe Chosen will too. Or not...
-
Yeah, well, I will cry if I miss Chosen. I've been wanting to see it again for like ever.

Just for a change of pace I'm playing MK3 for Genesis now. God it's awful. Everything about it is terrible. The gameplay is off, it looks horrible, the sound is distorted and they cut a bunch of corners with the presentation. The Pit III fatality is just embarassing to watch. But 10 years ago stuff like this was hyped as a great port and near arcade perfect. It's funny how things have changed in the fighting game community. Like now if there is anything even remotely wrong with a port it's RUINED. Just one thing and everyone will relentlessly rip it to shreds. Especially in the SNK community, where the hardcore fans want to put the Neo over as much as they can. It seems like as time goes on more and more MK fans, especially younger ones, have never even played the arcade versions. Their only memories and knowledge of the classic games is in the crappy 16 bit ports. It's especially sad when it's something like UMK3, which had beyond awful 16 bit versions. Arcade UMK3 is just lightyears ahead of the 16 bit conversions. The other day I saw someone who didn't know MK1 had blood, because they had only played the SNES version! That's just depressing. Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is going to be awesome. I have a feeling they'll somehow screw it up though, even just a little, and they won't really be arcade pefect.
