Well I've been at my new place for about a week and I'm feeling pretty comfortable here. 2 bdrms, just have to pay electric/cable/phone, 440 a month, 1st and 3rd months are 1/2 off. Last night I set all my wrestling videos onto the bookcase I got from my grandparents, so for the first time my videos are sitting out on display instead of sitting in a bunch of cardboard boxes that are falling apart. This is my first apartment and I feel I've made a good choice here.

HA HA, welcome to thesmartmarks.com where we warp your brain and you unconsiously watch tapes that we "make" you watch.....bwahahahahahaha Dude I've been here since Rantsylvania days And look there's Mean Gene interviewing WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero No, that's not Mean Gene interviewing WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero, it's his brother Eddy who also wrestled in mexico...... [/sarcasm] You're right Eddy is pudgier, and bland (I mean the guy doesn't have a THEEEEK Mexican accent) and he has a dorky mullet, not frosted hair like his cooler, more ripped, more ethnic brother Eddie!

To be honest, seems Meltzer is a little more generous with the rating than ol' Keithy, maybe he doesn't give as many *****, but I don't recall that many ***+ matches on WWE TV last year.

I dig "Heaven and Hell" and "Holy Diver" rules!

Being a Catholic (though not traditionalist like Mel Gibson) I'm am very much anticpating the film's release this Wednesday (Ash Wednesday). Despite the concern of possible anti-semetic content, I will wait to make any judgement until I've seen the film. Anyone else interested in seeing what all the fuss is about?

Nirvana- "I Hate Myself and I Want to Die"- even though it's just the title.

All I see is two middle aged men trying to look young and cool and failing miserably. Sad....so sad Funny....but sad

It's funny you should have that photo of Randy Savage in your sig, because that's kinda how bloody Jesus looks in the stills from the film I've seen.

That's funny cause I talked to my Mom about the film and she's said she'll see it, but she's not that good at watching films with intense violence. She told me she'd turn her head during the squeamish parts, I said you'd kinda miss the point.

It's announced in variety today that Smith will be doing a feature adaptation of "The Green Hornet" for Miramax. It's also covered on Smith's newsboard NewsAskew. Any thoughts, reactions?

I just want to say I haven't completely loved a TV show like I do 24 in a long time, it's one of the few things I still watch on Broadcast TV. -

Kim couldn't kill Nina, only someone as completely badass as JACK FUCKIN BAUER could kill sinister Nina. -

Okay so Slick introduces Zeus as his surprise before the cage match between Hogan and Big Bossman on SNME in May. Was Slick supposed to be Zeus's manager, did he show up with Zeus any other time. Because Savage and Sherri became Zeus' running buddies for the rest of the summer if I recall.

A DiBiase comp 87-89 sounds awfully good to me.

See this angle happened 1 year before I became a fan. Besides, the angle we SHOULD be talking about is the one that made ME a fan. And it's celebrating its 15th anniversary- MEAPOWERS EXPLODE! Feb. 1989- MegaPowers vs Twin Towers- Elizabeth injured- Hogan the dummy abandoning his partner (LUST HOGAN)- Savage slapping Hogan to tag him in and then leaving- Savage/Hogan confrontation with Elizabeth on the stretcher- Randy attacking Hulk setting up WrestleMania V. Now that's MY Old School Memory. Thankfully over the past year I got both angles on tape.

It was a beautiful film, it contained what I love best about Bill Murray (he's funny not because of what he says, but how he says it), and on a purely physical note, it opens with one of the best opening shots in fil history, heheh. Oh, and if anyone can't tell how autobiographical the film is to Sofia Coppola, take a look. Young woman adrift in what she wants to do with her life (Sofia in her 20's, she did art, photography, wrote, worked business before turning to filmmaking) A husband she's emotionally distant to who's a celebrated artist who everyone talks about (her soon to be ex Spike Jonze) A reverrent infatuation with her older compatriat (Sofia hunted Murray down to get him to do the role and is still in awe that he took the part). And finally, look at Scarlett Johansson and Sofia Coppola, the actress looks A LOT like the director.

I just finished watching it too, I don't know how good the other Supporting Actress Nominations are, but Holly was the center and core of that film. You expect her to snap, but she can't because she's so offgaurd when she says "I didn't know it went THIS far!" it sent chills up my spine. Oh and having seen Whale Rider is well, I'm equally impressed by both young Miss Wood and young Miss Hughes. I think the academy reasoned between 2 great performances between teenage girls, give it to the uplifting role.

I bought Planet of the Apes and rented American Splendor, that film is hilarious and one of the best of 2003, I'll definetely pick it up sometime down the road too.
