Time for another hard hitting title defense by the Big Show. Oh wait....
-
He's a Man's Man!!!

The last 2 years I've ordered the Rumble, I'm usually happy with it. I dig the match, what can I say. And of course I'll order WrestleMania XX- good bad ugly, it'll be historic.
-
That was cool
-
OMG Cena in an Old School WWF logo shirt! Where can I get one of those?
-
What is a comp ticket? It's where a friend of my Mom who used to work with her and now works at the Arena, gives me free tickets in the box seets cause he's a nice guy and I'm a lucky guy. comp = complimentary
-
Yeah I'm going to the RAW House Show in 2 weeks at Hara, They're building it around Kane so my bet is we get a workrate classic like Kane vs HHH for the main. I won't care my tickets are comped anyway.

Is the soap Lifebouy?
-
Cena's rap got no flow anymore I guess when you're a face your skillz diminish.
-
I was pissed at Rock for a good while after that Rumble match. I felt he was very unprofessional with the shots he was giving (not surprisingly, so was Mick).
-
You know what theme I miss? Edge's first one ("You think you know me"), that was cool.
-
I'd kinda dig it if Angle's tentative heel turn makes his character some ultra-patriotic maniac, not unlike Mr. Bob Backlaund (but more serious)
-
I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for that series, and the DVD sounds cool. Hopefully they'll do it in widescreen this time. I'd kill for a Bobcat Goldwait/Tim Kazarinsky commentary for 2-4 though.

Oh God they're bringing a baby into CTU, isn't that like, against regulations or something? -

Awww man that stupid brat! -
Remmember when WWF used "Highway to Hell" as the theme for SummerSlam 98 and all anyone could talk about was Spike Dudley. ECW could've released a AC/DC comp, half their roster used their songs. Oh and I can never hear "Come Out and Play" without thinking of Raven.
-
They should cover "War Machine" and give it to Tazz for a birthday present.
-
OMG, Vince & Steamboat agree on something regarding a wrestling match? Doesn't that mean the world caves in or something?
-
More often than not, the Rumble is a consistantly entertaining show, the match itself is hard to screw up (exceptions being when your roster is thin, see 95-98, or your writer is on crack, see 99). Of course 92 is a favorite, with 2003, 2000, 1990, 2001 close behind.

Girl Tells AP She Didn't Know Family Slain

It's not very comforting, but it was her grandparents and aunt who were killed, her Mom was away at the time, she got a call from the guy where he threatened to kill the other three if she told authorities. I agree, death penalty is too nice, bum-fuck prison is the way to go. -
I was just curious as to what people thought, I guess most here don't have it or haven't seen it, it's the lesser of the two. It's on a 97 comp I've got, with the Euro title finals, Bret vs Sid in a steel cage plus Bret's post match tirade, The Michinoku 6 man that was on ECW TV before Barely Legal, Bret's post-WM 13 speech, Michaels/Austin vs Hart/Bulldog, various promos, a couple Rey Nitro matches, even some odd 70's wrestling stuck in the middle of it. I got it off eBay a couple years ago.

The Princess Bride For some reason I've always loved the line from L.A Confidential- "This one's for ours pancho!"
-
I have this comp tape of angles and matches from WWF/WCW Fall 93, and there's an interview with Yokozuna & Coronette after SummerSlam in which the Undertaker shows up, and this blond woman is conducting the interview. It isn't Mike Mcguirk, and she's too young to be Linda. It's 2 years before Stephanie Weiland, so who is she anyone know?

It was really quite beautiful, Tim Burton has lost none of his quirkiness, while really growing as a storyteller (which is what this film is all about, storytelling) His best since Ed Wood.
