    Your FIRST Live Show

My first show was Feb 90, highlighted by a Cage match between Roddy Piper and Rick Rude.
  2. Anybody check out the new Back to the Future DVD, it's got an extra disc now with the complete Back to the Future Ride (including pre-show), granted not as cool when it isn't 5 stories high with a programmed simulator to ride in, but still cool. No Blu-Ray yet, but I don't have Blu-Ray so I don't care.

    Saturday Night's Main Event

I'm with MilleniumMan, hell Megapowers Explosion is the night I began watching wrestling fulltime. And I still think Hogan was an ass for going back with Elizabeth.

    The Office Season 5

Kelly smiling the the happiest 2nd grader when Jim put the blanket around her...GOLD "I'm too excited to sleep"

WWE General Discussion - February 2009

Wait, Vince says his father had great respect for Inoki, yet he never says he does as well. Hmmm?

    The OAO WWE DVD Thread

Yeah I finally found out cause I bought it last night lol. I figured, cause most SNME matches weren't very long. I hope this sells well so we can get a Volume II, We need the first Rockers/Brainbusters match, Dream Team vs Bulldogs 2/3 falls, The Macho Man vs Jake 'The Snake' from 1992 (funny thing is before the 86 match, they show the promos clearly from the later match).

Get Busy Living...Or Get Busy Dying...That's goddamn right
  10. This truly makes Jr the greatest player ever right?

    CTDWAT: Indies/Overseas/General

You ever rewatch a match that you no is classic, but you haven't watched in awhile, and when you finally watch it again, not only are you reminded that it IS a classic, but you actually somehow feel you've underappreciated it over the years. That's Bret vs Owen WMX to me.

    The OAO WWE DVD Thread

So is it complete matches, or just clips? (SNME)
  13. TCM, Seriously, I think it's gotten better, it's not just Time Warner library works anymore. And we're in the middle of their best stretch, 31 Days of Oscar. Two nights ago they showed 'Network', Damn I love that film.

    Aronofsky's "The Wrestler"

That might have made a cool moment, if you saw The Ram afterwards backstage holding this rinky Indy Title, as if all his glory was now reduced to something nothing more meaningful than a local area bowling trophy.

    Aronofsky's "The Wrestler"

Funny thing gnawing at me having seen the film, in The Ram's first match, doesn't he win a title? I seem to recall the promoter saying during the pep talk that the main event was a title match.
  17. Nah, Dylan is next year's halftime act
  18. Oh I did too, don't get me wrong, I just really remember him fondeling his guitar in the rain is all.
  19. Can't believe The Boss will be 60 this year.
  20. I've always felt that the best thing to happen to the Halftime Show was Janet Jackson's nipple. Just kickass rock acts ever since. And Prince fondeling his guitar in the rain.

Most Intense, Passionate Promos of All Time

Watching that Shawn promo again...Not even Randy O is touching that, or Edge for that matter

    What Killed "SNICK" for You?

'Round and Round and Round...' Yeah Roundhouse ruled I always preferred Make the Grade as far as Nick Game Shows go And if Legends of the Hidden Temple was cool, it was nothing compared to Funhouse on Fox, I always wanted to go onj that...I still do.
  23. So David Letterman is showing the unaired Bill Hicks routine that was pulled from the show in Oct 1993, less than five months before he died. He also has Hicks' mother on as a guest. Should be cool to finally see.
