Yeah, they keep making a big deal about it too.
-
They just said next week it would be on at 8, then Las Vegas will be on at 9 and L&O at 10, so yes, it's taking over Deal or No Deal's Friday slot.
-
NBC, it'll take over Deal or No Deal's Friday slot.

So, 18 people couldn't figure out how many divisibles by 3 were between 1-26 vs 3 not knowing what 'badunkadunk' meant?
-
Ha that's so cool that they got up to 3,000 question and no one got it wrong, that's cool.
-
And Bob's right, always use up all lifelines in any game show before walking away.
-
At least someone has a legitamate shot at reaching 1,000,000 here, honestly no one is going to go that far on Deal or No Deal, unless it's one of those bonus weeks where they raise the top prize.
-
Yeah, but questions really don't matter as much, in shows like this it's about watching the money totals climb.

I'm sorry but for this new album for those who have is anyone else as pleased with "Trapped in the Drive Thru" as I am? I only wish Al would shoot a long format video for it. release it in chapters and make it as melodramatic as possible.

I am happy to eat crow in regards to the Departed making it to #1, I too was resigned to seeing "Texas Chainsaw" take top spot. 27 mil, that's probably Scorsese's best opening.
-
Absolutely the movie of the year so far. I was jolted within the first 5 minutes (should've know better it being Scorsese) and I was not disappointed. The film has more twists and turns than I thought were coming, but nothing that felt false or incoherant. Seriously, everyone in the film was top notch, even the smoking grandma. I'd say theater was 1/2 full for a 7:15 showing, so it'll probably #2 (I accept that Texas Chainsaw will go #1), let the word of mouth carry this film to the response it deserves.

So your team strung you along this year to the point where you actually thought you might slide in there by some shear force of dumb luck. So your starting pitching consisted of 2 aces and a revolving door of new trades, fading stars and youngsters not quite ready. Homer Bailey will be here next season, I promise. And the bullpen was a black hole, even though your new general manager tried fixing it by making 700 different deals. You've still got Ryan Freel, maybe you'll still have Rich Aurillia. And look, there's Sean Casey with the Tigers, so turn on the TV watch the playoffs and root for da Mayor. Reds fans- shut up we're watching the Bengals WHO DEY!!!

Yeah they even started calling him 'California' Brian

From what I saw that was actually a fun little cage match, for free TV

Man this week was even better, I'm starting to like where this is going

Next March will mark the 10th Anniversary of our favorite home video format, DVD. In that decade we've watched DVD move from a niche market into the overwhelming choice for home theater viewing. Which begs the question, what in you opinion is the best DVD released since the format's introuduction? I'd say try and limit it to just feature films, though if you want to post a favorite TV DVD or Music DVD release go ahead. I'd also shy away from box sets if possible. The best choice should be a combination of film value, picture & audio presentation and, of course, extras (I'd value quality over quantity, some DVD's these days like to cram a ton of 'special features', very few of which are actually special.) I'd have to say that overall one of the best DVD releases was the Clerks X Anniversary DVD, granted for a 16mm black & white film the picture won't be prisitine, but video and audio are probably best they can look, and the supplements are both informative, but real funny too. So go ahead, what are your picks?

Well, that one does have a pieced together commentary from actors and crew-people (including Arnold and Cameron) but it's mainly from interviews done for the film. However the T2 Extreme Edition has a James Cameron/William Wisher audio commentary, one of the best I've ever heard too.

The meeting of the Moustaches!

Yeah, this set might have the best selection of matches in relation to the subject- could've used more Hollywood Blondes matches though, I mean the one match is the subpar cage match from Slamboree (which doesn't even really involved Douglas, it was Zenk under the mask), could've put the Jan COTC match or the title switch instead. But overall a fine selection. A personal fav Pillman match for me was his loss to Alex Wright at GAB 95, if only because a) I was there live and b) Pillman was the overwhelming face (the show was in Dayton, OH), I don't think ANYONE cheered for 'Das Wunderkind'. And I was surprised there was zero mention of the Pillman Memorial Shows.

Luna's hair doesn't look crazy enough And is it just me, or does Ron actually look younger?
-
Got the Pillman disc and I love it, the main feature was real good, especially seeing footage of Pillman's lone year with the Bengals- did he ever have a football card made?
-
That was a cool ending

Shit I just saw that today 26 years ago John Bonham died. And I've been on such a Zeppelin kick too lately, reading "Hammer of the Gods"
-
Since I don't think I've seen it done here

The job interview skit with Farrell and Pierce Brosnan- "Oh I am gonna straight up murder you?" Also- the skit where the TV morning show de-evloves into tribal cannibalism because the teleprompter breaks. Come on Barron lets just restart the thread for posting SNL transcripts -
That's what's great about the Office, you have these absurb episodes with Michael and Dwight, and then there's this real and deep relationship between Jim and Pam that not only keeps the show centered, but actually creates some real emotion towards these characters. And that's great writing and execution.
