Or they could just get more creative on how he sneaks in. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like what Matt Hardy dresses up in a fake beard as a photojournalist ala KOTR 1993?
-
Downhome, who's the 30's actress in your sig, is it Bette Davis, kinda looks like her a bit
-
They have to officially bring him back within the next couple of weeks though, cause this jumping the barricade and getting tackled by security will get old quick.
-
Caught him fast that time
-
I like Shawn mouthing "Same old stuff", good starting point for next weeks Shawn promo
-
Uh Shawn, what about Kurt Angle, and Brock Lesnar, Undertaker?

I guess with HHH gone all the internet hate has shifted full force to Edge. I never got why he's so detested (Matt Hardy thing not withstanding), granted he hasn't seemed to make that jump over into superstardom, but I'm in no way turned off by the prospect of an Edge push.
-
On come on now, Edge is using Foley 101 booking, he feels completely justified in what he's done, cause "Edge" is in a real relationship with Lita and is pissed off that people, in particular Matt, are judging him and Lita for why they've done what they done. Affairs happen all the time, sometimes 2 people are better off with each other than the ones they were with. And I loved his dig to Matt about "not separating personal and professional relationships got him fired". Is it a cold thing to say, yes. But Edge believes it.

Well jee whiz who lit that fire under Edge's ass, honestly that was one of the better promos he's done in a loooong while

Wonka's voice kept reminding me of Carol Channing -
After picking up the recent Bill & Ted collection, I realize I've memorized Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure WAY too much.

Bob's just looking for any window to shun the 71 version and escalate the 05 version. He's just looking for opinions to vindicate his own. I merely happen to disagree with him (and Berardinelli in this case, man is he becoming more smug with each review). Yes Peter Ostrum couldn't act to save a cat's life. That's why he became a vetrinarian. The main reason Dahl didn't like the 71 version is all the additional dialogue David Seltzer put in, using quotes from Wilde and Shakespeare for Wonka. Well with all apologies to the Dahl estate, I find myself quoting Wonka's dialogue all the time. I'm not saying that the 71 film can't be topped, in fact it looks like Burton's done a fine job. I just get defensive of my Wilder/Anthony Newley song-and-dance/orange-faced Oompa-Loompas/ adaptation is all. -

And how can you find no joy in songs like "Candyman", "I've Got a Golden Ticket", "Pure Imagination" and "I Want It Now". And I don't know how good Burton's film will be, but nothing's gonna top Roy Kinnear's exasperated performance as Mr. Salt Why couldn't he sing. He's a merry little prankster, he's always jumping about in the book pictures, skipping about. Come with me, and you'll be in a world of Pure Imagination Take a look and you'll see into your imagination We'll begin, with a spin travelling in the world of my creation What you see will defy...expectation If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it Anything you want to, do it, Want to change the world, there's nothing to it You're heartless man if you don't like that a little -

Sorry Bob, I'm gonna have to take some strong disagreement with some of your points. I've read the book and seen the 71 film countless times and I love both, you seem hung up on the necessity of the film following the book slavishly. Well as far as the ending goes, I never liked the fact that the book ends with Wonka going "oh Charlie, you're the last one left, why you WIN my factory". It just made Charlie lucky by outlasting the other kids greed. The film expands on this by showing Charlie as a good soul, and the reason Wonka loses it is because he was counting on Charlie to be the one, and at that moment he thought he was wrong about Charlie and was mad, "so shines a good deed in a weary world". Veruca's demise was probably changed to the geese because the logistics on a 1000 squirrils would be too difficult in 1971 (plus it was a low budgeted film) And how can you find no joy in songs like "Candyman", "I've Got a Golden Ticket", "Pure Imagination" and "I Want It Now". And I don't know how good Burton's film will be, but nothing's gonna top Roy Kinnear's exasperated performance as Mr. Salt. And if you're hung up on changes and needless additions to the book, here's one in Burton's film *POSSIBLE SPOILER*... ...they gave Wonka a backstory of having an obsessed dentist for a father, now where the hell is that in the book?... -
That's perfect, gotta make it look unplanned, unexpected, why higlight a guy who doesn't work for your company trying to take shots at one of your top players.
-
I am so happy Matt is gonna be at the ROH show in Dayton, damn I better get tickets, they might sell out now.
-
Maybe Matt should "buy" airtime to call out Edge, call him a pussy, challenge him to a fight anytime, hell even "at 3 o'clock in the morning behind Sharkey's bar in North Carolina, I don't give a damn"
-
Everyone's talking about how WWE will probably f--- this up. So my question is, what are your suggestions to not f---ing this up? I mean, you have to draw people in to want to PAY to see the blowoff Hardy/Edge match. Do you keep Matt offscreen and play up the "this is real" side of it, how much should be acknowledged, how should Matt be brought back in officially, how much "insider" info should be used on TV for this? What shouldn't be brought up that'll fly over casual fans heads. Oh and how much blood should flow in the match?
-
Need we reiterate They let the mic stay live He was on camera a full 3 minutes afterwards Kane/Snitsky conveniently left ringside.
-
I disagree, this has been solid clear cut storytelling from Michaels
-
If they play it as work they won't post it, try best to ignore it like JR, King and Coach are doing.
-
Naturally they will, but one night of greatness is good for them Hey getting dumped by a skank will do that to ya
-
Poor Shawn's got to follow THAT?!?!?
