When was the last time HHH wasn't in the Main Event slot (Not counting Royal Rumbles)
-
Haha! HHH has to go on before the Divas!
-
This feels strangely like a UFC match.

Forget about worrying if you could turn Edge in his hometown, they hate him already.
-
So me and a friend were gonna go to Hooters to watch the show but it was way too packed so we split the cost headed back to the apartment and got the show. It'll probably end up being cheaper.

That was a damn good lookin chokeslam.

I met Tazz 6 years ago when ECW was doing promotion for the Heatwave 98 PPV, he was a very cool guy, granted these were at sanctioned meet n greets but he was really down to earth, complete opposite of his character at the time, much more like how he comes across on Smackdown today. And Mick Foley was always approachable.

I am sooo glad that the Eddie/Art Barr match is on the DVD, I've been dying to see some of their work for the longest time. Worth getting the disc right there for me.

Okay I signed up for Blockbuster's Movie Pass, which is 14.95 for the first month and then 24.95 for each additional month. Basically you can check out any 2 movies at a time and keep them as long as you want, then turn them back in and check something else out. Because I normally splurge close to 100 a month on DVD's, some that a realize later were not 'must-buys' I look at this as a great chance to check out a bunch of films I want to see for a cheap fee. Plus this Blockbuster I signed up at only stocks Widescreen (a first for any Blockbuster I've been to) and they have a very nice selection of TV series on DVD. Of course, now I find myself spending over an hour trying to come up with what 2 films to rent. When you suddenly have the whole store at your fingertips, it's harder to make a final decision. Any one else do this (or Netflix)?

They have synchronized diving? That's interesting. Anyone remmember the Olympic Triple Cast on PPV from Barcelona. I actually got that for my Birthday when I was 13. In hindsight it was a stupid idea because a) I never really watched the Olympics before then and b) it was difficult to keep track of everything.

He also dies in Strange Days And if he don't shape up soon, sounds like he's gonna die for real.

I've done this before, but I generally do it for a month or two every 4-6 months. That way I've got a bunch of titles backlogged. Of course, if your local Blockbuster stocks only Pan and Scam comedies (like mine does), it's kind of a ripoff. But at least I can catch up on stuff like The Sopranos, since I don't get HBO... See this is what I love about this Blockbuster, they pretty much have every New Release in Widescreen, or the majority is Widescreen. And the clerks at the store all get that widescreen is better. And they don't just stock say 'Sorpranos' TV series, they have A-team, Dead Like Me, King of the Hill, CSI, Quantum Leap, In Living Color, Reno 911, 24, Alias, etc. So I wouldn't have done it at a store like you mentioned, but this place makes it worth it (and it's pretty much the closest Blockbuster for me, so I'm not going out of my way wasting gas thus defeating the purpose of saving money by using the pass).

I love how the A&E Biography voice over guy describes the ridiculous bits the WWE does with a serious matter-of-fact tone in his voice.

Classic reminders of what a great promo artist Mick always has been.

You're going to have to be more specific than that. Wrestling runs from the 22nd to the 29th. Freestyle, heavyweight division

So what day is amatuer wrestling set for?

Okay I'll bite. Mick Foley vs Shawn Michaels (WWF Mind Games, September 1996) vs HHH (WWF Royal Rumble, January 2000) vs Big Van Vader (WCW Halloween Havoc, October 2000) vs Steve Austin (WWF Over the Edge, May 1998) vs Sting (WCW Beach Blast, June 1992)

Cool when you get all settled in if you get a chance to go through let me know what you have. That's cool about what I've heard regarding the Simmons change, I just assumed it was a Saturday Night, if it's just highlights I'm curious how much is shown.

What I mean is do you get a vibe from anything else in entertainment that reminds of you of someone or something in wrestling. Example, and maybe not an obvious or perfect one, but I get a 'Jim Ross' vibe from Mike Sexton of World Poker Tour. Any minute when watching I wouldn't be suprised to hear him say "through helfire and brimstone, Phil Gordon has made a flush draw on the river, bah gawd!" Anyone understand what I'm saying?

God I'd love it if they tried to do WWEPT- World Wrestling Entertainment Poker Tour. Of course, everyone folds when HHH goes all in, that's just the way the game is played. -
that's cool Cawthorn, let me know if you find it whether it's complete, and if anyone else knows more about which show had the match join in.

I voted for Bret, just because of how well it was executed, but may I ask where is Jake Roberts turn from 1991? When you boil it down, the man turned heel for 2 reasons 1)He went mad after Damien was squashed 2)He was turned away from Randy Savage's bachelor party And locking Ultimate Warrior in a room full of snakes is sinister.

I guess that makes the Yankees = HHH and the Red Sox = RVD/Booker T/Kane/Chris Jericho/etc -
Did anyone watch the 2 volumes back 2 back last night (or since vol2 came out). I did, what a masterpiece the 2 are combined. I think Tarantino's work here eclipses my love for Jackie Brown (which is criminally underrated).

Just updated and put my list up on Guzzlefish There's a few not on there due to Guzzlefish not being updated (WWE Hall of Fame, ROH- Era of Honor Begins, No Way Out 2004), but it's all there. My DVD Collection
