I'm waiting for the Chappelle jokes...

Please tell me they're going to port it to the XBox. Not the 360, the original. There's not one wrestling game worth buying on that console. I'd spend $50 bucks just to have a decent one

I was more miffed that when they were having that dialogue, I didn't get to see them because the camera followed Sam as he stumbled around in a hole.

Is your dislike for a artist due to them or their fans?
TheBigSwigg replied to MrRant's topic in Music
I think Country "transcends" religious affiliation, so an atheist or agnostic Country musician would do ok. As long as they didn't emphasize their beliefs. That being said, I do think that the overwhelming lean towards Christianity has to do more with marketing to women and "religious" people. It's been a well known trade tactic of the Christian Music Industry that if you mention Jesus a certain amount of times, the album is likely to sell better. It's also well known that women, on average, are more religious than men. -
I wasn't expecting greatness, or even goodness. I did expect something passable that wouldn't cause that much pain for that long of a time. True. It's not like Bay wrote the movie. Which, by the way, the bad dialogue in this film has me really worried about the upcoming Star Trek movie

TheBigSwigg replied to MrRant's topic in Music
I think the biggest problem there is that the artists that came "Post-Outlaw" have all been obvious attempts to reach a certain market and make money instead of further the form of country music. They all have the "Nashville" sound. It's hard to find modern country music without a token steel guitar and fiddle in the band, or a snoozer ballad and song about looking at the past. But maybe I just proved your point... -

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
TheBigSwigg replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
He didn't say that. He did say that. At least, that's what I heard out of his explanation. He repeatedly said that there wasn't proof that it was anabolic steroids, that it could have been due to testicular insufficiency. He also stated that the average T/E level could go as high as 6:1. -

Apparently the repeated explanation that it could be "Testicular Insufficiency," while embarassing enough to make my co-workers ask what I was listening to, isn't enough to cut out the steroid allegations -

In spite of the fact that the GBI's examiner said that there was no definitive proof of steroid use, FOXNews.com has a headline that reads "Benoit was taking Steroid, Sedated Son before killing." -

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but Transformers isn't just a cartoon. The franchise spawned comic books and novels based off of the original property, not to mention the cartoon spin-offs. All of which have at one time shown the ability to create fantastic stories with great character build. If you don't believe me, check out Beast Wars, or the IDW Transformers comics. The former has GREAT character build and depth, and the latter did Transformers set in a modern setting MUCH better than the movie.

This is what I'm saying... Here's what I've said elsewhere: **SPOILERS** Whoever wrote the movie almost HAS to be racist. All the black male characters we see are near their grandmothers, and yell incessantly at them. It wouldn't have been bad with one, but BOTH black men do that? Then the "black" Transformer, Jazz, BREAKDANCES and is the first to die. I mean, it's all probably coincidence, but it seems a bit much for that. Why is it that all the things the Allspark cube brought to life were evil? Not one thing brought to life by the cube was nice. And why we're on the cube, if it regenerated Frenzy (the chirpy EWOK decepticon), then why not Bumblebee towards the end? Was the chick's heroic moment that necessary? Why is it that all the Autobots, other than Jazz and Optimus Prime, sounded British? Why does Ironhide, the "Weapons Specialist," sound like he's ready for a spot of tea? The Autobots seemed a bit air-headed. In one scene, the Autobots are basically careless about whether or not they've been spotted. In another, they're surprised that humans aren't scared of them. I know in the first scene they were "rushed," but you'd think they'd at least TRY not to out themselves. They acted more like the Ninja Turtles than the Transformers Also, they were really concerned about the loss of human life, but when they start fighting the decepticons, they stop caring and start flinging cars and crashing buildings? I understand collateral damage, but you could at least put some effort into protecting people. It was really just bad character development. Instead of the autobots being what they've always been in the cartoons, which is peace loving guys who only fight because they have too and are willing to sacrifice victory to protect innocent life, they're just as willing to fight as the decepticons. I'd take that part personally and be truly pissed about it, but I've noticed that all of Hollywood seems to miss the point that there need to be some good guys who are purely good. This isn't the first movie I've watched in the past few years that would've benefited from the protagonist being of pure heart. It seems like Hollywood is full of Vince Russo types who think everything HAS to be shades of grey. Obviously, I didn't like it. And I know it's just a "popcorn flick," but even popcorn flicks should make more sense than this

I think you can score between the 6:1 and the 10:1 without getting instant repercussions. -

Not only is it 10:1, but if you first test at 15:1 and your follow up has you at 14:1, they consider that cycling down and your given a pass. Not only that, but if you have a doctor's not saying that you are on Testosterone replacement, which is usually for older guys to keep there testosterone at 1:1, you get a free pass. This is on top of "I have a prescription, so it's ok" EDIT: This comes from Bryan Alvarez on "Between the Ropes" -
Yes, they could. There was a lot of things they could have cut from the movie, honestly. My first choice would be Michael Bay.

GlassJaw is/was awesome. The lead singer and I think the bass player are in Head Automatica now, which is like GlassJaw, but more pop

It's funny, because it's obvious by both his name and the whole sXe thing about his character (not just his personal life) that he's into hardcore punk. That just goes without saying. They should take a look at shirts for hardcore punk bands and go "okay...now replace this band logo with the words 'CM PUNK,' replace this grainy black & white picture with one of him," and then maybe change the tour dates on the back to dates of his victories thus far in the company. Fuck, I think I could come up with a better CM Punk shirt just ripping off a Hatebreed shirt, or even the classic Crimson Ghost Misfits shirt (I think that'd actually be pretty cool). A simple black tee, white silhouette of Punk's face and the arms doing the X, voila: CM Punk merch. ...for what it's worth, the second shirt is the least awful. how hard is that? -

As a Christian, I assure you that even murderers (including Benoit) can reach Heaven under certain circumstances, such as repenting. The way I look at things, Chris knew he was guilty, so he repented by ending his own life. Disagree with me all you wish, hell, call me an asshole if you want, but this is my view on things and you can't change it. You can try and justify it however you see fit, but repenting for something you're about to do is in fact the exact opposite of repentance. EDIT: Taking your own life, as well, is not an act of repentance. Unless you're Catholic and the Pope declares it is -
