I have to admit, it would be a lot easier to take Cornette's remarks if he wasn't being handed a steady check by McMahon. Though I agree with most of what he says, it's hard to take someone's remarks seriously when they've got plenty of protection.

Even though Cornette's got bias against Russo, he's generally right. The shows have been off and on since day one. You'll have a match which hits perfectly followed by a match that makes no sense. They're having problems telling stories in and out of the ring, and always have. This is the biggest flaw of TNA, and the reason WWE is on top. That and Jarrett truly IS a horrible worker to build a company around. Maybe not twenty years ago, but definitely now. He's got very little charisma and can't improvise on the mic.

I myself would mark out if they brought back the original where Season 3/4 left off. I've been dying to see what the series was like in Japan after the show died in the US. And I do think G1 should be left alone, now.

My logic behind it is that Sabu WOULD cause the distraction that Monty needed to get the pounce. I know TNA won't just give this match away, but they should because it showcases who they have and what they can do. I'm not saying put this on every week, but a match of this caliber every once in a while is like the Ironman match or the Cage Match on Raw and Smackdown, it shows people what they COULD have if they ordered the PPV. I would agree that Raven vs. Brown is more ME caliber, but Jeff Hardy has been hyped like the second coming of Christ, and to put him on earlier lets the air out of the hype too quickly. They're trying to push him as the ME, and you don't want to feed him to Monty right now when they're going to meet Wednesday, so it's the only option. Emphasize that it's his IMPACT debut, and make people watch the whole show to see it.
