Honestly, though, there has barely ever been an angle that's been built and executed well on TNA. I remember when the Gathering turned on Raven. I was watching the match, thinking "what the hell?" They try, but they can't truly execute angles well, that's one of their biggest faults. It's partly the writers, partly the wrestlers, and partly the commentary. No single group or person is to blame.
As for the fact that the ME only got 15 minutes, that's my other huge problem with TNA. The reason they haven't had many 4*+ matches has a lot to do with the fact that they try to cram a ton of matches onto a card with a ME that is written as a blowoff, or a huge match. Their ME usually gets about 15-25 minutes, and that's not always a good idea. I would prefer them to give them 45 mins, and have a standby match in case it doesn't go the length, just like old school NWA.
