Definitely Monsoon and Heenan. Classics.

Yeah, I would have to agree with Ricky B. My best friend is a wrestler, and he's told me it's much more difficult than you think. I would love to take the video I have of us "wrestling" in our dorm to his boss. It would be entertaining. Note-the "wrestling" in question is basically us hitting each other on the head with Pizza Boxes. Seriously. A few pulled punches and pizza box hits, and maybe an elbow drop. It's embarassing, and if it wasn't so amusing to watch how stupid I was, I'd probably tape over it.

If only WWE was that smart.

Everyone I knew at the time marked out HUGE for the two Taker feud. Some people I know still consider it great. I think it was entertaining and an interesting twist, though if they pulled something like that off now I'd go apeshit on them.

I guess I'll just have to send Dave Winfield to the damn hotel. Hope he's one for repeat performances.

1)Football and wrestling are two COMPLETELY different sports. In football, you don't get trained to hit someone so it looks hard, but doesn't hurt them. You learn to hit them for real wearing pads. Also, anyone playing tackle football without pads anywhere is not that smart. Too much risk and not enough reward. 2)Get them the way you please, but if all you're getting are cuts and bruises, then you're lucky.

Okay, say they go through with bringing in the Japanese workers. Should it be an invasion or not? And, who would you want to see fight who?

You could also have shows documenting great feuds from the past, like Flair-Steamboat, Hogan-Andre, Bret-Owen, etc. You could even have the wrestlers in the match talk about it...in KAYFABE. Or not. You could also have documentaries on wrestlers favorite matches. Have all the guys backstage vote on a great match, and then let them all talk about what makes it great. ANd how about a "viewer request show" that has matches requested by viewers?

I thought this thread was way beyond it's original purpose, and beyond you. No one in the folder connects this directly to you anymore, and it had grown mostly to be entertainment. Yeah, let it die.

Damn virus didn't work......

Has anyone heard from WMD in the past few days? I was hoping to burn him some more, but I haven't seen him around lately.

I agree. For all the good it did WCW, it made them look horrible in hindsight. If TNA did bash WWE, it would be exactly the same. Besides, it's one of the reasons WCW ALWAYS seemed to be behind WWE.

I'll second that. There used to be a radio station that played them in Cincinnati all the time, and I was amazed they weren't big then. Now, they'll just be one hit wonders in the eyes of the mainstream.

Funny, they said that about Eddie, too.

Raven stealing Sandman's family. Especially when Sandman's kid turns.

Didnt the piss end up being green? Yeah. And that was Regal, BTW. That match also had a hilarious ending. Regal nails Show with brass knux but Show falls on Regal and Regal can't kick out. That's right, thanks Papacita and Goblin. That was one of my favorite segments of that "era." I don't know if I'd call it funniest ever, but it was good.

I've seen worse in the last week. They showed a bunch of redneck racecar drivers getting into a fight over something or other. I was able to Tivo through that nonsense. Wow, Sporstcenter is becoming the Best Damn Sports Show ever, which isn't really a sports show if you ask me.
-
How about the segment where the Big Show was in the bathroom and...well, I forget who, but someone stares at his wang and ends up peeing on him. I think it was Funaki. That was classic.

ECW would have said something because they were "rebellious," and WCW would have said something because they were unsure of the quality of their programming. When running a business, it's not very good to insult the competition. Point out what's good about your product, that gets peoples attention. As for the videos, I'm sick of them. TNA shows them all the freaking time, just during commercial breaks. I'd much rather see interviews, because I'd rather hear from the wrestler than the company paying him.

Can you say something to cybermark too? I've seen him in several folders, and he never uses punctuation and capitalization.

Club them on the head, then drag them.

Maybe I do..... Maybe I don't......

This is quite possibly the greatest argument in the history of TSM.
