...Why are they called The Hardys on Raw, and Team XTreme on ECW? Yeah, Road Warriors/LOD thing...but that's still stupid. Are the Hardies free to just randomly work any of the groups they want? ...and this is an interesting match.

That Nash skit was one of the best he's ever done in TNA. Senshi's completely bored look was the selling point of it all.

I don't think Fedor's going to just shoot in and take Hunt down. He doesn't usually do that. Fedor likes to fight his opponent in whatever circumstance they want the fight in. He's not afraid of any part of the game. He stood with Mirko for almost the entire fight, I'd bet money that he'll stand with Hunt for several minutes at the very least. That's Hunt's only chance, to know that Fedor will try to "Impose his Will" on him that way, and break him mentally. If Hunt can land that huge fucking shot that we all know he can hit, then he COULD drop Fedor...I strongly doubt he'll KO Fedor though. Fujita didn't come close to KO'ing Fedor, he merely dimmed the lights a little, and Fedor recovered rather quickly. Against Randleman, he was slammed vertically onto his head and simply rolled through.. I'd love to see the two slug it out, and see which one falls. I'd actually bet on Hunt to fall to a KO before Fedor, given what Fedor's survived in PRIDE. And even if Fedor was hurt from Hunt's blows, he would take him down and submit him. Hunt's only shot is the lucky world beater punch and a flash KO.

Bebop's music is regularly considered some of the best, if not the best Anime music ever by many. It's good on the show itself, with a few shining examples such as Rain, Tank, Call Me Call Me, Go Go Cactus Man, Green Bird, and I suppose Real Folk Blues (Which I've never really cared for), the tracks do their job, but I could NEVER bring myself to listen to Bebop music on it's own beyond a few tracks. It's random, it has no overall feel, and you never are able to get any consistent emotional connection to a single track due to how the show is produced beyond the aforementioned Call me Call Me. By contrast, .Hack//SIGN uses the background music to elevate the scenes to another level by never stepping over the line, or being distracting or non-noticeable. Background music is there to complement what's going on the screen, not to overshadow it, which is what .Hack excels at while producing some beautiful music. Music is personal opinion anyway, but I've never seen the so-called greatness Bebop has. The best comparison I can think of, is Bebop uses music like an action movie. It's there, it's fairly loud, and there isn't a whole lot of subtle-ness, but when it is used, it's effective. .Hack on the other hand is more like an epic movie with a deep score, it's there to lift the production up with supports and help it. It never overshadows what's going on I consider Bebop to be one of thee most over-rated series in Anime, right up there with Trigun. It's a great (Bolding so you'll see I'm saying it's GOOD) show that has been elevated to some mythical status mainly because it was the first anime show allot of people were exposed to, OR, the first anime series of adult nature people saw. There are a grand total of five main plot episodes, but even if you throw in Faye and Jet episodes, that gives still leaves allot of filler in a twenty six episode series. In a non-serious show, filler is fine, but Bebop skirts on the edge of seriousness once too often for so much filler to contribute to the show itself. The show has it's high points, such as Ballad of Fallen Angels, which I consider one of the best episodes I've ever seen, BUT it also has it's low-notes such as Heavy Metal Queen which I consider one of the worst fillers I've seen. All the things that other people were affected by in the show; Faye's storyline, The ending, Ed's thing, I know people that consider those huge moments in Anime. They didn't did anything for me because I was never able to build any emotional connection with any character in the show, beyond possibly Jet. I do find it funny, that I write up that long thing on what's good and wrong with .Hack//SIGN, and the only thing that is questioned? I dared to say something was better then Bebop. Hell, I'll go one further. From everything I've heard? Yuki Kajiura > Yoko Kanno. Yes. I went there. Boo me I say. Boo! In all seriousness, most people wouldn't dare say anything negative about Bebop, but I'm not one of them. I think it's a good show, but not worthy for the status it's attained. One of these days, I'll rewatch it. Along with Trigun, and see if on DVD outside of CN's goddamned schedule I'll like the show more. Who knows? But this IS how I feel right now.

    OAO Anime/Manga Thread

After having seen the first disc of the show almost three years ago, a few weeks ago I started re-watching .Hack//SIGN and just finished it the other night. It was the first show CN ported that I really didn't bother with. I saw a few episodes, and liked them, but the schedule was whacked for it. Now I don't watch anime on CN at all, due to what else? Their fucked up schedules. Oh and shitty dubs. Those suck. Simply put, this is SUCH an amazing series. If you don't know the plot, it's about a MMORPG that uses VR, but one character named Tsukasa finds himself unable to log out. WHY he can't logout, and the reasons revolving around this are revealed throughout the series. Other characters decide to try and help Tsukasa, despite his seeming reluctance to be helped at all, while others try to use him to get things that they want. Every aspect of the show is perfect. The music, the touching scenes, the evolution of Tsukasa, and the deep, DEEEP characterization of everyone on the cast. There is not a single character without multiple layers. Probably the most character depth I've ever seen in an Anime. These aren't just characters, their people with real motivations and desires. Almost every show has that one character with no real depth, but this show doesn't. We don't find out everything about a few, but we find out enough to get involved in them. The main selling point, beyond the art and storyline is the music. Bebop can go fuck itself and it's over-rated music. THIS is perfect anime music. Nothing stands out too glaring, and everything seamlessly blends in with the show to create an atmosphere beyond what mere background music can usually attain. Yuki Kajiura's arrangements are simply awe inspiring, some of the best produced music I've ever heard. Key of the Twilight, Open your Heart, and Fake Wings are some of the best Anime music EVER. Ever since I finished the show, I've been collecting Kajiura music. It's just too damn good on it's own, or with .Hack//SIGN Everything in this show is touching, but at the same time dipped in melancholy and sadness from the first few episodes. Bad things happen to good people, and even worse things happen to the bad people. You think you know what's really going on in the show, and it completely changes your expectations through revelations. You think you know the motivations behind the "players" but then they change what their really after. The only negatives of this show, are two. #1 - It's slow. Thankfully, it has a superb premise and storyline or else it could have been unbearable. If you can't stomach talking for long periods of time, this aint for you. And #2 - It's a 26 episode series. Which means is has a pretty shit ending. At this point, I've gotten pretty fucking used to it. Most 26 episode shows have so much going on, that they just say "screw it" and end the show in hopes they can get another series, or you'll check out the manga. .Hack is no different. Thankfully, through Wikipedia, I was able to find out what happens to the characters AFTER the show, and it gave me all the closure I could have wanted. The story is ALLEGEDLY continued in the PS2 games...but I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to try them out. Highly recommended, and watch it in Japanese...I cannot fathom this show in English now.

Wallace cannot start for the Seahawks again after that. He threw some good passes, but several INTs, including that last one that had NO ONE in the general area that wasn't a Niner.

UFC 65: GSP vs Hughes II

Haven't seen anyone mention it. The Heavyweight title match, while interesting at various times was one of the most boring fights I've seen lately. Sylvia needs a few lessons in killer instinct. He could have beaten Monson anytime in the fourth and fifth rounds, at the very least. If he didn't have his size, he would even be ranked. Vera for new champion.

I am convinced after having listened to Josh Barnett's theme, Ai wo Torimodose!! a hundred times that Pride MUST do Josh/Fedor, preferably in the US. Josh is one of the those guys that gets how to really get popular in MMA. He's more then a great fighter, he has an identifiable personality and is basically the American Sakuraba in how he advertises himself. Josh losing to Mirko made me so sad at the GP Finals

You also have to keep in mind, is Sapp isn't just some huge dude. Those punches and kicks he heavily pulled were what could have won him a K-1 GP had he not broke his hand on Ernesto Hoost's head in the first round. Sapp kinda HAS to pull his blows alot due to the sheer power he possesses. Granted, he can do better, but the man has more power then even Vader did.

WON TNA News and Notes - November 13th

From what I know, PRIDE had a deal with him, and then he transfered to K-1, who has had him under lock and key for most of his run. All his popularity happened in K-1. Despite my feelings that he would have done better in MMA, he did alright in K-1 for awhile due to his sheer power. In any case, K-1 has had him signed to a death contract. They controlled all his bookings, got all kinds of fees for anything they lended him out to, and such. K-1 made a shitload of money off Sapp. Sapp wants out of his K-1 deal, and is trying to fight it. As such, right now, he's a free agent. It's kinda like the Brock/WWE deal, where Sapp thinks his contact has been voided due to a circumstance over pay from an event in Holland, and the fact that K-1 has no intentions of using Sapp again...they just want to hold onto him to keep OTHERS from not using him. No promotion in Japan seems willing to challenge K-1 over Sapp, but in the US it's a totally different matter. K-1 likely won't fight as hard if Sapp goes to the US...Much like how WWE didn't fight as hard as they would over Brock had he been in TNA. K-1 doesn't have the market penetration to really fight as much as they could in Japan, and Sapp's participation in TNA or WWE won't hurt them nearly as much as a Japanese promotion would. The major roadblock for Sapp, is that he doesn't want to be "owned" again like K-1 did. He wants to be free to do what he wants, when he wants. He also would probably want quite a bit of money to work for a promotion. Besides those two things, TNA would be IDIOTS not to grab Sapp. But it is TNA we're talking about.

    Firefox issues

Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to see videos in Firefox? One day, they just vanished. I still get sound from streaming video, but I have to load up IE for video. All I get is the background of the page where the video should be. It's friggin weird.

Bob Sapp v.s. Great Muta pt 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Wq0YdbHlxo pt. 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUMLgCUen60...ted&search= Nobody in their right mind would call Bob Sapp a good worker. Or really anything beyond passable. He has BUCKETLOADS of charisma though, which is pretty evident here. This is from Wrestle-1, Muto (Aka Muta)'s insane plan to rip off WWE that failed. Considering the people TNA and WWE have brought in, Sapp is a step above most if only for the fact that he's apparently a really nice person, and is willing to learn. Just let the man dance, that's all you gotta do. Edit: I had never seen this before...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi_5uenoLRo

    NFL Week 10

Seahawks are so screwed if the team doesn't get healthy. It seems like half the damn team is out. They need Alexander or Hasselbeck back so very badly. Their's no real fire to the team right now. Their just...there. Josh Brown is the only Seahawk playing as good as he did last season it seems. Bless that man. I actually fell asleep while watching Chargers v.s. Bengals...I assumed it was in the bag for the Bengals. How wrong I was.

Bob Sapp could and should be a huge force. Just have him come out dancing to some funky music, with a boa and other fun stuff, then have him crush an apple with his bare hand, then cut a promo as THE BEAST~! promising he's gonna beat them up, then have him crush people with wild looping punches. Insta gold. That or you can play up the Beast gimmick all the way, without the racial stuff. Have him come in as a hugely pissed off mentally retarded monster who just wrecks people with whacky eyes...THEN have him dance. Edit: If you still doubt the potential greatness of Bob Sapp, I present evidence A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Nj2RPyR0FQ...ted&search=

No. I would venture to say NO Pride PPV is worth buying due to how they absolutely butcher the events. Entrances are edited out, half the time the opening ceremony (Sometimes the best thing ON a PRIDE show) is cut out, and most of the emotion is vaporized. Sometimes entire fights are edited out, and others cut down to the last round. On top of that, Ranallo and Trigg are absolutely horrible...Trigg more so. Back when it was Quadros & Bas, you atleast knew the commentary would own...but now? No. The funny part, is they made a big deal about PRIDE production being at Real Deal in the US...but on the PPV's half the time that badass production GETS EDITED OUT. The show was also OVER six hours long, so I have no fucking idea how they'd edit that to three hours. I'd assume the supposided top fight, Minowa v.s. Barton (Yes, you heard that right. I missed it though ) would be completely edited out, along with much of the undercard and Gono's badass entrance. The fights themselves weren't too great, beyond the main event...which in the American version will probably have all the meaning and drama zapped out of it. Save your money for the next PRIDE show, you'll be muuuuch better off.

    LOST

They better have a damn good reason why the smoke killed Eko. When they had their encounter in Season 2, it left him alone. So why the fuck would it suddenly decide that he HAD to die? He hadn't done anything to warrant being massacred by the thing if it's a sentient being. That was easily the worst death thus far in LOST. Makes no sense whatsoever. On one of the most popular characters in the show even.
