Bills are making the Seahawks look good for having been atleast a little competitive. The Bear's D is fucking SCARY, as is their offense.

If the Bears had shown any weaknesses the first half, I'd say Seahawk's might have a chance for a comeback, but they haven't. Every aspect of the Bear's game has been sickingly strong. Only hope Seattle has is if they can keep the Bears from scoring twice, while they get two touckdowns to tie it. The odds of that happening right now? Not so good.

I say that, and Bears score again. I didn't believe the Seahawks needed Alexander so badly, but shit...maybe they do.

Seahawks are getting their asses kicked pretty badly. They've managed to keep it surprisingly close though considering they can't seemingly stop the Bears from doing ANYTHING until they hit the red zone.

I'm three discs past Kyoto now. One was filler, and the other two were The Christian arc. There IS a drop in quality. Seems like every aspect of the show gets a little worse beyond the music. The animation at times seems a little worse, the plot's a little worse, and character development is a little worse. The key though? It's STILL Rurouni Kenshin. That makes it better then 70% of all other Anime just on that alone. The major problem with the Christian Arc, is that Shougou isn't as compelling as Shishio from Kyoto, nor is his character as well-developed. He just lacks the reasoning, and three dimensionalness of Shishio. While Shishio was a complete psycho, there was a twisted logic behind his motives. You also had Sojiro who has the best backstory and reasoning of any villian I've seen in Anime. Shougou has his reasoning, but while it's fairly logical it's just not as compelling. Plus, the whole "God" thing is a key reason why it never got aired on CN. They only mention god, god's will, the possible fallibility of religion, and religion oppression every two minutes, if not sooner. Right now, I'm seeing it as kind of a cross-road of the Tokyo Arc, and Kyoto. There's a super-powered main villian, but unlike Kyoto, the secondary villians aren't gods either. It's much more like Tokyo where it's more about the adventure, and not so much the upcoming battle. It's good though, if you've never seen it, you should check the arc out. I'm thinking it's a situation where it went against the Manga, and it had NO hope of ever living up to Kyoto, so people hate it on that alone...On it's own as an arc? It's pretty good. Plus, Sano has a key role. Sano is awesome.

I dunno what the hell most of you are talking about. Impact was pretty good. They put the focus exactly where it should be. Sting/Jarrett, Jarrett/Joe, Monsters Ball, NWA Tag titles and Christian/Rhino. Plus, they ended the show on a good cliffhanger. Ratings are built off successive television, not one great show. I think some of you need to get off the "No great matches?! HORRIBLE IMPACT!" ride. The show was strong in storyline development which is what wrestling is.

Well, School Rumble 2nd Term's done. Now I just gotta wait till March or April for 3rd Term... Damn this series. In the meantime, I've been working on re-watching/finishing Rurouni Kenshin. I had only seen what CN played before, and just finished Kyoto the other night, god bless Netflix. Inless this show completely falls apart during the "Christian" arc like I've heard it might, I can't say I've watched a better Anime from all aspects. Storyline, characters, visuals, music. Kyoto's also probably the best "arc" I've ever seen. Even on the second watching, everything was as good as the first time.

I'm shocked there's no talk of this. Kazushi Sakuraba collapsed during training. It's been found, according to Fight Opinion that he had a blockage of an artery going to his BRAIN, and that this could be a precussor to a stroke. He's off the 10/9 HERO'S show. ...Sickeningly enough? They want him to still fight on NYE. The Japanese promotions aren't gonna be happy until he fucking dies in the goddamn ring.

I don't think the Seahawks losing Alexander is going to hurt them too much. I know that sounds silly to say, since almost the only thing you hear out of Seattle from the team is about Shaun Alexander...Problem is, Shaun wasn't a huge force during the post season last year, including getting knocked out of Seattle' first PO game with a concussion. Hasselbeck picked up the ball and ran with it. During the regular season, Shaun was a huge force but I think Seattle's proved their capable of winning games without Shaun. On their first three games this season, it hasn't been Shaun doing most of the work rushing. It's mostly been Morris and Strong. Shaun has a great ability to power in there, then run like hell, but he's good because of Seattle's line. Seattle's not great because of Shaun. Now, if Hasselbeck keeps getting banged up on games (Near the end of Giants/Seattle he had hurt ribs and his arm seemed to be bothering him from a Giant's pass block when they hit his arm), WITH Shaun being out? Seattle's fucked. Well, they probably are already, but it's good to hope.

I do think this could have a snowball effect...We've now had two high profile WWE guys going to TNA, making money and having way less work. Not to mention that TNA's more willing to give people shots. Only problem is Jeff's NEVER leaving the main event scene, which is going to become more glaring as more and more high profile names show up, as TNA makes their own stars.

WWE made a mistake when they said on air it was mutual. If anything, they fucked up. Mainly because they didn't think Angle would do this. No one thought he'd goto TNA. I doubt any marks will know what the real deal is either. All they know, is Kurt bailed on WWE, and has suddenly shown up at the competition. I think ratings should go waaay up. the hard part will be for TNA to actually book RIGHT and keep those ratings up. They haven't been too good at that thus far.

Angle going to TNA isn't the worst idea. He'll wrestle a few times a month for a hefty paycheck, and TNA can control all his bookings to protect him if they feel the need. On top of that, if worse come to worse, Sting isn't exactly the worst person for Angle to be around. The whole born again Christian helping people part could ya know...help Angle. Can't HURT to have someone go out of their way to help him out.

I fully admit I got worked by the Angle MMA news. One thing people here need to realize... There is no such thing as ethics in Pro-Wrestling Never has been, never will be. If you think any promotion, wrestler, or promoter has ever been ethical, you're delusional. Even the greatest of the great have lied, used, and thrown people to the curb to get what's needed. If TNA can get a bonus from Angle in his state? They will. Just like how WWE would had they not JUST had a wrestler die on their watch already.

Seahawks have a badass defense. No matter what the Giants do, their *RIGHT THERE* to slam them into the ground.

Looks like the Seahawks have finally gotten everything on board now. First two weeks, aspects of their game didn't work right. Now their hitting on all levels Provided they don't implode here, which is very possible given their track record, this could be a great example of why the Seahawks are still contenders.
