I have a theory that Keiji Muto does some kind of drug before turning into Muta because it's night and fucking day. He made a return just a little bit ago for CMLL. He may not be wrestling, but he's working for them in some capacity instead of AAA.

Why WOULDN'T they? You get double the PPV payoff. Diego v.s. GSP is easily strong enough to sell a PPV based on #1 contendership status, or a major rating on TV Then you follow it up with winner versus champion for another major payday. Simple business formula. If they cared that much about Diego being undefeated, they wouldn't have done Diego/Karo, and instead just fed Diego scrubs for awhile to build him up which is yet another effective tactic provided he squashed them dead. Diego cares about Diego being undefeated. I doubt UFC really gives a fuck.

Like I said, I'll concede this, but if I end up seeing Diego/GSP for the title shot, I'm bumping this thing and mocking you all!

That comparison is simple. UFC keeps bringing up past people hyping up their accomplishments, but there is one person who UFC conviently leaves out of everything from the past and that's Dan Severn despite being one of the UFC's past's biggest stars, and being one of the FEW people still from that era that could probably still fight seeing how he fights damn near *EVERY MONTH*. So essentionally, I'm saying they ignore some parts of the UFC past to hype on others such as Penn's title win and frankly I find it insulting. And I dunno how you can apply sarcasm to the GSP thing. WHAT makes you think GSP's gonna immediately get a title shot when he's healthy? Where, in UFC's track record do they indicate that? Them making Karo re-earn his title shot despite being #1 contender when his injury took place indicates otherwise.

Maybe it is bias, but I don't think Penn should get a title shot when he hasn't won in the UFC since his return. I mean, granted, you can make a claim on past accomplishes, but you can also make a claim that UFC not bringing in Dan Severn despite all HIS accomplishments is BS too. You can't have it both ways. You can't go "We'll focus on this guys past accomplishments, but not this guys" IMO. Granted, I hate how UFC has seemingly erased the past beyond what's convient to them, but still. I just think you gotta focus on the here and now, but Penn hasn't had much of a here so far. I shall concede though for hte fight.

Survivor is still a good show. It's all about watching how people react in shitty environments and try to out think each other. I REALLY wish they'd quit fucking bringing in Models and shit though. Hire some goddamn outdoors people who know how to get shit done but aren't that good personality wise.

Their not bad, they just get old, and the AI is kinda cheap. I mean, for a career sim, it's alright, but it never really gets past just matches. You dont' feel any connection to the character or the world your in.

It basicly boils down to this for me. GSP and Diego have fought their asses off to earn their title shots. Penn's leaping over them due to circumstances to get a title shot despite one fight. That's okay I guess. The major issue for *ME* is with UFC's track record, GSP and Diego are gonna have to re-earn their title shots, probably against each other. That's just plain ass not fair. If they do this fight, then do GSP then Diego, that's fine, but if they find themselves demoted because of all this, then how the hell is that fair?

I wouldn't have had a title fight period if GSP or Diego couldn't fight. Put Hughes in a special attraction fight against someone. There's hundreds of people who'd leap at a chance of national PPV fight against someone like Hughes, decimation or not.. Leapfrogging over people like Penn's gonna do after LOSING to GSP and not having fought in UFC for years beyond that one fight cheapens it all to me. If you are gonna have rankings, you should adhere to said rankings in my opinion. Penn, at best, is a distant third in the top five of UFC, and that's only based on his prior accomplishments. Edit: Having re-read that, I suppose Penn getting the title shot is fine...he is #3, but it feels goddamn cheap to me, and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

TNA needs to sign a deal with CMLL, and not AAA. CMLL has so many good workers at the top of the card that could be great additions to TNA. Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero, Mistico, TARZAN BOY~! Best I could do for Tarzan Boy the Afformented Perro Aguyao Jr., hell, HEEL ATLANTIS! and CMLL's apparently newest signing, the awesome LATIN LOVER~! AAA's pretty much a wasteland outside of a few people, and most of those guys seem to be bailing from that ship. It sucks Galavision stopped airing CMLL, because it was pretty much the most consistantly good stuff in wrestling today. If Hector Garza could wrestle in the US, you could bring him and Perro Aguayo in and immediately have a top team. Their that good together.

The thing is, with Boxing, you train the skill of pure fist striking. How to avoid them, how to take them, how to utilize that weapon to it's best form. Kickboxing is basicly the next evolutionary step up from Boxing, as it gives you more weapons to work with while still retaining the original basics. They aren't as refined as boxing's one weapon, but it's still a part of it. Basicly, a Kickboxer doing Boxing, is about as fair as a Jiu Jitsu fighter fighting in a Kickboxing fight with no ground fighting. You are basicly robbing them of a significant, or almost ALL of their weapons. That's why in a Boxing fight, most MMA and Kickboxing guys wouldn't be able to last with Tyson, despite Tyson's weaknesses anymore. It takes away a huge chunk of what that person can do, or would do. In a kickboxing fight, Tyson has no knowlege of kicks, so Mirko would likely tee-off on his legs with low kicks, which Tyson wouldn't avoid, or check, until Tyson could no longer move well, and then Mirko would move in for the kill. It's just two different worlds.

There's a big difference between boxing and kickboxing. Cro Cop was/is a kickboxer. In a boxing match, most Kickboxers would have a hard time lasting with Tyson. In a Kickboxing fight, Tyson would get owned so damn fast by the elite fighters it's not even funny. Now, I'd pay to see Mark Hunt v.s. Tyson just to see if Tyson could KO Hunt. My money is on no.

I'd say both the VHD movies had their bright spots, but overall I enjoyed the original way more. I can't really say *WHY* because it's been so long since I watched either. I just remembering liking it more. I think it was the villian. He kicked ass.

Ya know...It is kinda funny that UFC's never done Hallman/Hughes III for the title. I mean, if you wanna go by whose beaten Hughes before, Hallman's the most deserving person in the world. He beat Hughes *TWICE*, the second time in just seconds. PRIDE woulda done that fight yeaaars ago.

The problem with just throwing someone else in there with Hughes is that it fucks up his current contenders. The last situation with Karo was completely different. While GSP was a top contender, he wasn't THEE #1 guy for the title shot just yet. They hadn't decided that and gave Karo his shot. When Karo had to pull out, they didn't have anything right there to fix it. This time, GSP has his shot which he's earned more then Karo ever did his, and if GSP can't fight, then Diego *JUST* won a #1 Contenders fight. HE should be next in line if he can fight medically. Diego's not the type of person who'd back down either, you give him that shot and he'd show up ready to brawl. If he can't, you either do a Non-title fight, or you put Hughes in some special attraction fight. BJ Penn hopping over both GSP and Diego to get an unwarrented title fight is such BS, and will shunt both GSP and Diego back down the rankings for no apparent reason. Look at Karo, when he came back from injury he had to re-earn his #1 contendership status despite ALREADY earning it previously. UFC doesn't have a great track record with that shit.

If GSP can't fight, and Diego can't step up, then there shouldn't be a title fight if you ask me. Handing someone else a shot, basicly robbing GSP of his oppertunity is a complete pile of BS. If GSP can't make the fight, give it to Diego if he's medically cleared to fight. The man just won what was pretty much a #1 contenders fight. UFC wouldn't have enough time to shill it, but you can bet your ass off Diego would bust his ass to get in shape for it.

I'm still following School Rumble, technically on the second season which is called...School Rumble 2nd. New releases are generally upped and transed around Tuesday and Thursday. I had to fucking Youtube the latest (19) because I couldn't get it to download from the site I use. They've thankfully dropped alot of the insanity. It's still there, but there's alot more heart in the story now then there was in the first season. If shit isn't wrapped up in this one, I'm gonna kill someone though.

I bought both TEW and TEW2k5. TEW was a great game, easily better then both 2k5 and EWR. While things got more complicated then EWR, the rewards were far greater. Something was lost in the transition from TEW2k5. I think Ryland got full of himself and figured that he knew what he wanted. He took out alot of things, and changed things for the worse. Load times got better, yes, but at the same time things were completely out of place and it wasn't half as easy to easily change things as in 2k4. Simply put, in 2k4, I played for years in game. In 2k5, I've never finished a year. It's just a chore. TEW 2007 is sounding like it's going to take the best features of both to create a better game. Ryland's seemingly admitted he fucked up and is announcing alot of the little shit that he took out of 2k4. Title Prestige is back, User Characters are back, and several other things. He's got my money........AGAIN. I regret all the Wrestling Spirit games though.
