I think he was refering to the fact that she was really hot and that's why he doesn't frown. Not because he's happy she's dead.

Batista most likely won't be a long term draw anyway because he is so one dimensional so his age doesn't really matter, what matters it that he headlined a show that did nearly 1 million buys and that the company can make money off of him. I don't care for him at all but given how many people bought WM many disagree with me.

Promo from me.

First off, thanks for the compliment. I figured it wouldn't make sense for my character to hit a Somekick adn then sit back to allow the ref to count. The hatred would prevent me from wanting to win that quickly, without dealing out (or trying to) some punishment. As far as the Somemission, I figured that I should get a little bit of offense, so I went with it. I had the Stinger splash spots thought out before I went into it but wasn't going to use it as the finish. My original plan was to do kind of a lame finish where I would be down in the ring for ten and CWM would be down outside after some type of double KO spot that would knock him out of the ring. He would win because I was in the ring. I you look at Buffer's reading of the rules I had him say that the finish had to be in the ring and just never changed it. I suppose I'd rather lose, which was the plan all along when I pitched the match to CWM then have a screw job where no one looks good. I kind of liked my idea to have CWM be able to step back and dissect the leg rather than go for Pollycutter after Pollycutter or just punch and kick. The main intention was to put his character over as ruthless and since I'm taking a break to heal up and I think he's sticking around, I didn't need think I needed to win or look invinsible.

I wrote the whole thing and I guess I didn't proof read it well enough. The opening package would have been better if I could've found different things. I wanted our tag title win but couldn't find it and I would've put more SG/CWM aWo interaction, but I think most of that happened in the original thread, which I can't find. I hate doing commentary because I suck at it. If I had my way I would have two guys call it straight like Ross and Bob Caudle (sp?) used to. I don't like writing comedy commentary, as is evident by what I wrote I'm no good at it. Actually if I had my way I wouldn't put any commentary in at all and let someone else do it.

I skimmed through most of the show but the intro was great. PK's three way was quite good. Zack/Black was really good and so was Tony/Axel. When I have more time, I'll go through the rest.

You start out with a definiative finish in mind? I just start and write. The match I wrote for LA originally was going to have a different ending (different finishing sequence, the same winner) but what I put down during the match called for a change in plans. I don't see a need to force yourself into a certain finish. It's makes writing easier if you don't. I tend to get into the match and use a finish that makes the most sense for the match I wrote. I had a ton of spots thought out but left many of them out because they didn't fit. I tried to write a match once (the HiaC with AS) with a finish in mind and then couldn't figure out how to get there in a creative way and as a result the match sucked. Either way, I'm sure your match will be good.

Send it to him 3 more times. He likes it.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Some Guy replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I think it was so WCW could piss off Smarks by constantly putting him over Benoit. -
Sorry about that. I got the message again when I replied to your PM.

I've tried to send the match in 4 fucking times and I keep getting this message: What the hell does this mean?

Honestly, the only one I can name is HBK. And that's for obvious reasons. I didn't think they worked all that well together for the most part. The Last Man Standing and HiaC were pretty boring and the mic work sucked. IMO HHH had good chemistry with Rock and Foley (who didn't? Those two are off the page when it comes to working with others), other than that he hasn't a good feud. He and Angle did well until HHH killed that one off, same for HHH and Jericho, but once again look at the personalities of those guys. Watch HHH and Shawn in DX Version 1.0 and it's painfully obvious that Shawn is carrying the load for HHH. HHH is a hanger on who got a big break and a huge push. He does have a good workrate and when he keeps his promos to about 5 minutes he's not bad there. But he refuses to shut up and books his matches to go way longer than they should. The two HHH/HBK matches I mentioned just dragged on and on for no reason. They could have finished both inside of 25 minutes but decided to go 40 and ruin them.

I don't think that Mick Foley would mind you calling him "Mick" to be honest. Since he has used that name on WWE TV and in his publications. I don't think he'd mind, but I used him as an example of a guy who goes by his real name (and has for 5 years), yet is still called by his original gimmick name by some of the wrestlers. I agree with you advice. Although the only wrestler I've ever met is Brutus Beefecake and the the only thing I said to him was "$2.50, please" as I rung up his Ben and Jerry's.

I want someone to name me one guy who HHH has had good chemistry with in the last 3 years. He has had some good matches but the mic work has been horrible with with his opponents, it's pretty hard to develop chemistry when you have to verbally felate your rival. HHH generally swallows his oponents and doesn't let them get over on him, how is chemistry developed that way? I don't see any of this as Batista's fault. The crowd was way behind him up until the the turn and that's when HHH started to cut his knees off. Plus, WWE refuses to push him as champion. As has been said Batista has been on Raw for about 20 minutes total since he won the title 3 weeks ago. HHH generally gets 20+ minutes a week. If any one should be moved off the "flagship" it should be the motherfucker who is dragging it down. You know, the guy who got loud "boring" chants from Vince's favorite crowd.

The way I see it is if many of the wrestlers (Jesse Ventura included) still call Foley "Cactus" then you, as a fan should refer to them by their ring name. Some of the younger guys like Eugene might like it because it means that the person who called him that knew who he was prior to the retard gimmick, but I doubt Hogan would like a fan calling him Terry or Mr. Bollea.

Did Davey Boy break barrior for British wrestlers in WWF? I don't get the correlation. Ron Simmons=Robinson in WCW and I suppose Rock would be WWF's equivilent.

Flair has the drinking and womanizing down but as far as I know his knees are in good shape. If Flair is anybody, he is Nolan Ryan or Roger Clemens, old guys who kept on going successfully. Thats mostly cuz JR is a hardcore mick fan, being from Oklahoma and all. I know. And HHH=Yankees, they both represent all that is evil in their businesses. Probably, he most likely would not be married to her if they didn't push him to the moon with her. He would not however have as much power as he does now had he not married Steph.

No, I was mocking myself. Maybe I'll turn heel and call myself "Some Legendary Guy and my gimmick would be that I quit without notice and don't so a whole lot when I'm here. Actually this time around I'm doing as much if not more than I did the last time. So, maybe I'm being a little hard on myself, but probably not.

As a life long Red Sox fan who had to put up with all the NY cheap shots for so many years. It's nice to see the Sox used for cheap heat in NY and it actually meaning something because the Sox finally beat them. That said, why the fuck did it have to be Steve Lomabrdi, I think we Bostonians deserve better than an old jobber represneting himself. ::Waits for the Boston/jobber joke::

As long as a Some Guy one is made, that's all that really matters. I might not draw any more people to read the thread, but I bet I can sell T-Shirts. aWo merchandise sold like hotcakes. ::BUY THE SHIRT~!::

I hate doing the commentary, especially if you are feeling the match and typing away. Stopping to add commentary sometime kills my momentum. If I wait until the match is done then I can't figure out where to place it, so it's kind of a crap shoot. If you want more, and reall, who could blame you check out School's Out 2003, my 2/3 falls match with AS is pretty much the only good match I ever wrote. I hated the HiaC, which I also wrote. Shit, now that I think of it, I think I've only written like 4 matches. Some legend I am.

He's forgotten to put matches in a PPV? How many times? If it was like once or twice that's hardly a huge deal, matches can be edited into the show. Whatever, I don't really care who posts the show.

Does it really matter who posts the show, as long as it gets done?
