Whoever Chad Brown is, ESPN determined it to be BREAKING NEWZ that the Pats have released him.
-
I've topped it on Medium only....and.....wow.

New York won't be seeing it. Giants at 1 and Jets at 4. -
The thing is I've had David Garrard on the bench for a few weeks now, and he's been lighting it up. I've been too gunshy to start him though, because I know the day I do is the day that he throws 3 picks and Palmer explodes for like a 30 spot.

Right now I am winning 5-0, thanks to Jason Witten having 53 yards recieving so far tonight. As I mentioned above, this week marks the first time I have ever made the championship round in either fantasy football or baseball. Here is my matchup, feel free to skip over it. My players are listed first. My team (#1, 11-3) vs. #2 (10-4). He is projected to win, 100-95. I beat him head-to-head in week 6. QBs: Carson Palmer vs. Tom Brady RBs: Joseph Addai, Edgerrin James vs. Clinton Portis, Kevin Jones WRs: Randy Moss, Brandon Marshall, Derrick Mason vs. Dwayne Bowe, Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson TE: Jason Witten vs. Owen Daniels DEF: San Diego vs. New England K: Neil Rackers vs. Jason Hanson

I voted for Suzyn. Embarassingly unprofessional on so many levels. And I had already hated her guts to begin with. She also cried on-air when the Yanks lost to Cleveland in the ALDS.

Czech (whatever your name is this week) will love this one. Everyone in the NY media market is calling a Bills victory over the Giants tomorrow because of the emotional charge they are going to get by having Kevin Everrett on the sidelines. -
I do pretty well on One....until the part you mentioned. I get about 80% through, and then....see ya. I saw something that I thought was pretty cool while Christmas shopping this week: Guitar Hero I & II together for $60 (PS2). Since I only have III, I'm thinking about going back and picking it up just to 'expand my playlist' as it were.

I'm the exact opposite. I destroyed 'Jonas' to the tune of ***** and about a score of 200,000 but have a lot of trouble with that huge solo in 'Cult' (playing on Hard) I can do hammer-ons decently, but the pull-offs give me grief. Or whichever one you call it that goes from low to high. Green-on-down is fine, but the opposite way I have trouble, and the zig-zag patterns kill me. ----- I got the bundle at Best Buy for PS2 about 3 weeks ago and it was the last one they had at the time, but they had tons of 'em for 360 and Wii as well I believe.

Was Carl Pavano mentioned? 4 years, $39.95 million. He has made 19 starts in that time (17 in 2005, 0 in 2006, 2 in 2007, and what will be 0 in 2008). And somehow one of the clown's 2 starts was on opening day this past season.

Yet another NFL Network game that I could have watched, but - forgot about; didn't care about; didn't bother. Actually, I don't think that I have watched a single non-Giants game this year so far, outside of bits and peices. -
I have the GH3 bundle as well and the wireless "Kramer" guitar that it came with is the best one that I have personally used.
-
Is there downloadable content for the PS2 version? I'm not even online, but if they were to release more songs I would certainly consider getting it.

For the first time ever, I am going to be playing for my league championship next week. I've been in first place all season long.

A cool pro-rated $28 million.

To further the LaTroy Hawkins banter, the Yankees have now had both the loser of the 1998 Wells perfect game (Hawkins) and the 1999 Cone perfect game (Javier Vazquez) on the roster after the fact.

Can someone explain to me the college QB rating vs. NFL QB rating, and what goes into each? What is it supposed to measure, exactly? -
And when the time comes for Cano to get his, Giambi, Mussina, Farnsworth, and possibly Abreu will be off the books, freeing up a boatload of cash.

While I thank you for validating my points, how can somebody who at 24 is considered one of the best players at his position not be thought of that highly? This I don't understand. [i don't consider Melky a true regular because on any given night, he may not be in the lineup, whereas Cano plays every single game]

There is no doubt that some guys are just cool under pressure, and others fold up. Can I back that up with any hard evidence or some kind of number? No, but from playing sports myself I can tell you there's something to be said about being able to handle pressure of a big time situation when it's all riding on you. Of course many times your 'clutch' success is riding on your teammates; if you are down 3 in the ninth inning and hit a two run homer, your team loses, you did all that you could and probably won't be remembered for it. It isn't your fault you lost, and it doesn't mean you're 'not clutch.' That's a concept that people have yet to grasp. I was having this argument with a friend yesterday over the this past postseason and A-Rod's performance, when I simply stated that nobody hit and it was a team fallout (he had a late inning solo homer in Game 4, it didn't mean anything but if the guys in front of him would have done their jobs like the way he did his, it certainly would have). It always seems to go nowhere, but I digress. Hope that made sense.

Cano is untouchable because: 1) He's awesome. 2) He's getting much, much better in the field. 3) He speaks softly and carries a big stick. (For a non-traditional offensive position) 4) He's 24 years old, and a product of the system. 5) He's basically playing for free. 6) He is the only starting Yankee position player that will be under 33 years old in 2008. See? Edit: Also, Cano (and Melky) idolize Alex Rodriguez, and have adopted his pregame regimine, and they show up earlier than anybody else to the Stadium to workout together.
