Thankfully, mercifully, 92.3 Free FM in New York is dead, and from its ashes rises K-Rock, WXRK, the former tenant of those numbers. It has been long overdue. It went from K-Rock to Free FM after Stern left to Sirius about a year and a half ago, and there has been a huge hole left in it's wake. The only show surviving from the Free FM all-talk format will be Opie and Anthony from 6-9 am. Also, for the interim, there are no DJs. Former jocks have gone on to stuff like XM (Cane), Stern (Crazy Cabbie), and VH1 (Chris Booker)

Pretty much every time that Benoit and Jericho clashed in the Fed, it was an above average to great showing. Against eachother: Mania 16, Backlash 00, Judgment Day 00, Rumble 01, King of the Ring 01 as well as teaming vs. Trips and 'Cold and then doing TLC III in the same week That's just off the top of my head.

YES played his start the next day last time. Thursday is a day off, so I assume they will play this one as well.

Melky had a really good AB pinch hitting in the 9th inning, but ended up being struck out by Papsmear. Him along with Phelps autta get some playing time over the inept Mientkiewicz (the supposedly "platoon" where Mz gets roughly 90% of the at bats) and the uninspired Abreu. It's just painful right now.

Tyler Clippard makes his MLB debut tonight. Nobody could have told you in March that by May 20th, both the #1 and #2 pitching prospects in the system would be called up.

The most painfully underrated might be Jericho/Benoit from Backlash 2000. It was phenominal and about 20-25 minutes, but ended in a DQ and is generally forgotten.
