  1. I'm planning on getting my last name vertically down my triceps/back of my right arm, then my mom's maiden name down my left, in a caligraphy/Old English style as a symbol of my family and background. I also dig the tattoo that Jack Bauer has inside his left forarm, but I don't think I'm going to get that.

  2. Here are my current champions

  3. - Constant 'Bottom Line' throughout SportsCenter, live games, everything. It's so annoying.

    - Cramming too much into too little. Today there were about two clips of each game they were showing. Maybe that had something to do with the first twenty or so minutes devoted to Bonds, but it's usually like that anyway.

    - They give away what is going to happen on a highlight before it comes on the screen ("Here's A-Rod who hit his first home run of the game and went 1-3. [While showing A-Rod atbat]" - Home run clip - )

    - 'Budwieser Hot Seat' It's just too cheesy. "You are officially now on/off the Budweiser Hot Seat."

    - The pimping of Dan Patrick on the 6:00 SportsCenter. I'm pretty sure nobody watches it for the hosts.

    - That goon Mike Greenberg. Not only do I have to avoid him when he's on TV, but he's also on NY ESPN radio. Good God I hate that voice and his gay ass face. Keith Russel has a very goofy voice, he is only on ESPNews however and I never see him anymore.

    - Stat Boy hosts Around the Horn. It's not that that's that bad. It's that he uses Max's catchphrases like "These four things I know are true"

    - On PTI a few weeks ago, they had a segment where they make rankings on a felt board. They have a bunch of different onest which they have to come up with a top 5 for. Well, they were doing it on the top sports championships. They had to choose from Super Bowl, BSC Title game, NCAA tourney, World Series, Masters, Olympics, Daytona 500, World Cup (Soccer) and NBA Finals. There list was Super Bowl (1), NCAA Tourney (2), Masters (3), NBA Finals (4), and Daytona 500 (5). A show that constantly blasts racing and talks nothing but baseball and football and WORLD SERIES DIDN'T MAKE THE LIST. I was rather irked.

    - The baseball games have too much going on. They have the players and managers mic'ed up. They talk to the pitcher in the clubhouse. They have guest announcers. The Bottom Line is constant. Graphics are all over the place pimping other things on ESPN.

AHhhhhhhhh it hurts my head. What else you got?

  6. You're right, I was thinking they lost Game 1, but that was the Jeff Maier game. They lost Game 2.

Kenny Rogers helped make Game 4 of the World Series my favorite game of all time. If he hadn't given up those 6 runs, would there be a dramatic comeback, an amazing 1-0 win in Game 5, and the finale in Game 6? Rogers' start was a huge swing game in that series. Of course, he didn't do very much.

  7. The 1996 Yankees is my personal all-time favorite team. They had no superstars, but were nitty gritty group that came together throughout the season. David Cone's anyurism, Doc Gooden's no-hitter, Derek Jeter's Rookie of the Year season, Andy Pettitte's 21 win sophomore season, the emergence of Mariano Rivera, the best bullpen in baseball, the coming back from being down in all 3 playoff series to win it all, along with rock-steady performers like Bernie Williams, Paul O'Neill, Tino Martinez, Wade Boggs, Jim Leyritz, Jimmy Key, John Wetteland and Mariano Duncan.

  8. Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho (For The World Heavyweight Title) : Chris Jericho scores with a back heel kick on Benoit. Chris Benoit fights out of a grapple. Benoit drives a forearm into the chest of Jericho. Northern Lights Bomb very nearly crushes the spine of Jericho. Jericho ducks a wild right hand. Chris Jericho hits a table shot to the ribs. Chris Jericho hits a bulldog off the ropes. The referee gets to a five count....and Chris Benoit gets back up. DDT from the top rope by Chris Jericho. That looked brutal. Benoit reverses a Chris Jericho hammerlock. Singapore cane shot by Benoit. The referee gets to a seven count....and Chris Jericho gets back up. Chris Jericho ducks a clothesline attempt. Chris Benoit gets knocked to the ground by Jericho. Here it comes - Lion Sault, right on the money. The referee counts to 10, this match is over! Chris Jericho goes into the crowd, where he celebrates his victory A ****1\2 rating for a great match.

  9. No other player was able to pick the team they were inducted into the HoF as. Gary Carter wanted to be inducted as a Met....he wound up going in as an Expo. Why is Clemens any different?

Though I agree Clemens should go as a Bosock, I'm pretty sure they started taking away the choice from the players when Dave Winfield was paid to go in as a San Diego Padre.

  10. NY Giants

    2003: William Joseph, DT

    2002: Jeremy Shockey, TE

    2001: Will Allen, CB

    2000: Ron Dayne, RB

    1999: Luke Petitgout, OT

Joseph didn't play very much last year, but should be a starter this year. (INC)

Shockey is obviously the best of the lot. (B+)

Allen is a solid corner. (B)

Ron Dayne is a waste. (D-)

I'm not a big Petitgout fan, but lots of people are high on him. (B-)
