Bobby Lashley makes MMA debut on December 13th...
Frosty replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
While I didn't see the fight, so there may be something I'm missing, but I hardly see a cut stoppage in 30 seconds as disappointing. It obviously shows dominance in some form, while at the same time pounding someone enough in the first 30-40 seconds of a fight enough to warrant a stoppage due to blood sounds impressive to me. -
Did anyone else notice that EVERY bad guy character had an accent, yet NONE of the actors who were playing them, could do them properly? Fun movie, but the terrible dialogue and the fake accents were enough to annoy the shit out of me. People complain about Rob Zombie dialogue in the Friday 13th thread.... Zombie has nothing on this movie.

Character Moments That Now Make You Cringe or Shudder
Frosty replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
Jerry Lynn writing "DIE" on his chest in, what I believe was Justin Credible's blood in ECW. I believe it was near the end of their run or so. Guilty as Charged 200 or 2001 may have been the PPV. -
What is with the semi-Jamaican accent he has on for 1/2 of the song?

Dexter Renewed for Two More Seasons Source: The Hollywood Reporter October 21, 2008 Showtime has renewed its top-rated drama series "Dexter" for two more seasons, says The Hollywood Reporter. The premium cable network has ordered 12 episodes each for Seasons 4 and 5, with the fourth season set to go into production in the spring in Los Angeles. "Dexter" stars Michael C. Hall as a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Clyde Phillips and Charles H. Jabber on about what?
-
I am pretty sure that's incorrect. He was from Nova Scotia... which believe me... isn't a newfie.
-
I thought this was hilarious, but I'd bet there are probably only about 4 people on this board that know what a newfie is.
-
I've been watching too, and this is probably my favorite new show this year. I'm hoping this is going to take the place of the The Shield when it finishes up at the end of the season. I honestly can't find anything about the show that I really don't like.

THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!

I think the best thing for them to do with the 2 douche bags from last week would have been to have them fight each other. Let the team that being morons have a buy that week, and let the 2 guys that were being tools eliminate one or there other.

I thought the Mark Wahlberg skit was pure gold. I don't know if it was more of and inside joke, as opposed to just flat out ridiculous humor. Although the Whalberg voice was DEAD ON.

My Buddy got that about his character name for game 1. The character name: Leezus Christ.

Ultimate Fight Night 15: Diaz vs Neer
Frosty replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
I'd say the main reason for that is because one of the first words out of his mouth was a clear and blatant "Motherfucker". It was actually kinda funny. -
After an absolutely abysmal set of pics for the last 2 cards (I think last card, I had like 20 points), I lucked out and hit 2 fights dead this time and that racked up about 80% of my scoring.

In my opinion there have been alot of shit listed here, that unless you are a DIE HARD fan and wanna see the whole card for historical purposes, then you'll be bored to shit watching a good chunk of all the stuff listed here (ex: All the Wrestlemanias, or pretty much any whole card, cause especially in the WWE there was alot of the 80's and 90's stuff that was pure crap, to go along with the handful of matches that were good.) Some feuds and matches that I would recommend checking out are: (Keep in mind that theses might not all be killer matches, but they are at least entertaining) Raven vs. DDP vs. Benoit in the mid/late 90's Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio (WCW Halloween Havoc - Las Vegas, Nev. - 10/26/1997) (Alot of the WCW Cruiserweight Division from the NWO era is good to watch) The Rey and Eddie DVD's are good places to try some of this stuff out. Benoit vs. Booker T (Best of 7 for the TV title) is a great watch. Chicago Street Fight for the WCW World Tag Team Championship: Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne vs. The Nasty Boys (Spring Stampede, April 17, 1994) - is great in regards to older Cactus Jack ( this is on Foley's Greatest Hit's and Misses DVD) ECW also released a "Best of Cactus Jack" DVD that has alot of great interviews Mick did in ECW as well. The Bret Hart (Best there is, was and ever will be...), Undertaker (Tombstone) and Flair (Ultimate Ric Flair Collection) are also awesome sets if you'd like a taste of the history of either of those wrestlers along with some good matches. In fact, pretty much any multi-disc set the WWE has released on anyone should have a t least a few great things to watch.

I also started watching this show since this thread came up. Actually I started watching BECAUSE this thread, just to see what all the discussion was all about, and this show was mediocre at best. The best moments of this show were in the first episode. And it had moments scattered throughout the season, but it's easy to see why this show only had one season.

I recall Raven telling a pretty funny story in a shoot with the Sandman where he awoke during surgery and asked for more dope, because it had worn off.
-
I'm pretty sure there aren't any fight groups for the secondary leagues.
-
Which guy got arrested? I read through all the stuff above and the name was different in all 3 instances if I read them correctly.

Can I still get in on this?
