It was removed with the others, which were not 100% compatible with Invision Board 2.1.x The old skins even though not all had visible problems, had back end problems, so I removed them and sticking to only compatible ones. If you guys have some recommendations of ones you would like to see, just let me know.

The score bug saying something about an error should be fixed now... Also added a few more games.

Just thought I would give you all a heads up, after tonight’s maintenance your personal file upload limit will be increased from 5Mb to 100Mb for personal attachments. Personal Message boxes will be increased to 1000! I know, I know, please no applause. I am also trying/working to buy another 1-2gb ram for the server and another Xeon CPU for it, providing I find some money. 

Well, I feel its time to let you guys have a little more “freedom” I guess you could say. Since space isn’t too much of an issue and I know you guys are always complaining about things, I think this is something you hopefully won’t complain about. J Besides not having enough after you use it all… So what’s going on? Everyone now gets the following upgrades, free of charge… You now have a PM box which can hold 500PMs! (previously 100) You now get a global storage space of 5Mb, for use anywhere on the site, including blogs. (Previously 0Kb) You now get to upload your own avatars and personal photos! (Previously not allowed, but due to the e-mails I get time to time, for some smartass who links his avatar to some other site, then they wonder why they all of sudden increase 1300% in traffic or bandwidth usage…) I think the funniest e-mail I got was someone using a picture of jesus off some bible site and caused their site to shutdown because they exceeded quota. J This was about 1½ years ago, no good ones recently.

As I stated before I will not name any names, I respect the privacy of the users on the board. You that have done this know who you are. He is a simple way to figure out how a score is fake. Say someone scores 394,394 on a game and you can roughly say, playing well constantly you score 10 points every second, such as a game like breakout. Now that person scored a high score somewhere else, only 19 minutes latter.... Can you play two games at once? No... Even if you could, you can't score certain scores in certain time frames, of which the server logs how long everyone plays each game, etc. Resetting scores is useless, because cheaters will cheat again, as they can't succeed in everyday life, and feel better cheating online, where they can appear to succeed. How do they cheat? I am not going into the details, there are a few ways from the research i have done and seen. Too complicated for the average computer person, so board users that are computer intelligent, may be your first suspects... Obviously, don't look @ me. I can simply login and pick my score, but I don't believe in cheating...

Just thought everyone should know some cheating has gone on recently in the arcade. There is no way to prevent it, but the obvious high scores, which seem next to impossible, are false... No names will be said by me, but just wanted to make sure people knew that it has been done and is possible.

As part of many things moving on this site, the "Danger Zone" will be making a comeback! Just as the main site now has many writers in many different categories, the Danger Zone will be back discussing topics from wrestling to pop culture, just as the main site and forums do. DangerousA dedicated many hours in the shows he did on wrestling, which the show couldn't have been possible without him. (Thanks DangerousA) Nice Guy Adam will be heading up v2 of the Danger Zone which will be discussing many topics. The way the show will work, is a few people will have segments on different topics which Nice Guy Adam will be the DJ of it, cutting and splicing the segments recorded by the other people involved, making the pieces (10+ minutes) in to a whole to form a 30-60 minute weekly show. Topics will be from any aspect of TSM. Wrestling, of course, but any sport, current events, pop culture (TV, Movies, Music, Comics, etc), or even Food. It could be anything! The point of this being, The DangerZone v2 will have something for everyone. Everyone can find an aspect of it that they can enjoy. You will either beable to download the whole show or stream it as before so you can fast forward to your favorite part. To help out and have your own spot on the show you will need to have the following as requirements. 1. A microphone with decent recording quality and the knowledge of how to record yourself. (I know of several decent free software programs for editing and splicing, but you must be somewhat computer literate). 2. High-speed internet is recommended, as you will be uploading your segments to a server and they will be over 1 meg a minute. Dialup will just take an hour or more. 3. You have to have a decent voice… Obviously a monotone voice, which sounds like you are about to fall asleep or had too much to drink last night won't cut it. I know that game was cool a long time ago... Still is fun, and technically it’s a 2 player game…Multiplayer for those wanting one… lol I am looking for Missile Command!

I found a neat add-on for the forums called IPbArcade and allows board users to play the arcade games in it. It records high scores to your board name, etc. It looks pretty neat and has the games we all grew up with such as pong, and Atari games and more. Just wondering who else thinks it would be worth the addition? There is also a Casio and poker type add-on for it as well, I would assume it uses your post counts or something for $$$$s *TSM is not responsible for lost wages or work hours due to game playing…

I don't think I will be resetting the scores anytime soon then. Maybe once a month latter down the road? Maybe never. Lenna is correct, multiplayer will be good while, because of the complicated programming involved.

The ones up there currently are at least making more than the others. This server cost nearly $100 a month to run, not including my time to maintain it. I will make another attempt to box them in, as the page shifting does get annoying.

That’s strange. I use the Windows media player classic in Windows XP as well, I hate the new crap with all the junk you don't need. The classic mpplayer2.exe found in the same folder is the best thing in the world... Besides WinAmp & VLC

I think you could cheat as well by having a friend just write down.... y=yellow, b=blue, etc and then call them all back to you. lol

Ya, that simon sez is hard to get 42... Not saying that is good or bad. maybe I will have it reset the scoores once a week? or maybe every 3 days?

Anyone seriously wanting to write something, simply send me your info as stated in the first post of this topic and we can get you setup as a writer. *Current TSM writers, you can write on whatever you want, as you know, just let others in the TSM Writer folder know. Several views on things I think would be interesting to read.
