Ok, along with the new forum, here is another feature. This will allow us to let users either log into the forums using their e-mail address or board usernames.
I know most all places on the Internet use your e-mail address as a login name, so you don't have to remember anything else. How would this work for you guys?
I personally and all for it. Changing this will not display your e-mail address all over the forums when you post instead of your username. FYI:

I think its so funny, how people from the "Forums Stuff" area almost want to do away with wrestling folder, yet add some more for them, but its even funnier when the wrestling people think the opposite.

Yes, currently the whole search engine side of the forums is down. I am hoping to have this issue resolved soon, but am working with some staff with IPB, which seem to be taking there time.

We are messing with "shit" as a administration team, it is not I as a single who have this idea. We are doing our "Spring Cleaning" which needed to be done some time ago. Obviously not everyone will agree with the changes, this "testing" category is doing nothing but slowing the main page load down if anything.

Ok? Well we will consider not deleting the topics, but this folder will be going away more than likely.

If you don't mind, please point out some "worth while" topics in here. There isn't much reason to delete as it won't speed the server up anyways, but I was thinking since it was "testing" then nothing important would be here, I guess I am wrong?

Just a Heads up to get people’s opinion, Hardcore Discussion & General Chat are being considered to be merged. We are consolidating the forums a bit to clean it up and trash unneeded folders & combine ones which overlap.

As part of redoing and consolidating folders on the forum, I think this should be the first to be considered to be removed.
Reasons:
1. Besides Tape Trading has the second lowest post count.
2. Who here actually doesn't know how to use a forum online? There is always an edit button, or use *and post your correction? or ask for it to be deleted in a 2nd post in the same topic.
What will happen
Post will DELETED, it was a "Testing Playground" to begin with. Nothing discussed here should be anything worth keeping.
Comments? Questions? We didn't just want to start changing things up too much without the posters thoughts and opinions since the posters are the majority. However this does not guarantee this folder will remain if you get all your buddies to rock the vote.

I have temporary disabled that since it uses two extra queries to the DB. Its to see if it makes a speed difference or not.

Also, please ignore the simple errors for now. I will be creating another thread to post errors and problems for Post upgrade stuff.

Give us a probably a week to tweak out the forums as they are then we will move onto the more advanced features.

No not yet, the server facilities had some last minute maintenance, which they e-mailed me about and I did not want to try to upgrade while they were doing their stuff. Trust me; you will all know when it’s upgraded.

The only people that have Super Administrator status right now are myself, Sass, Dr. Tom & Illistrious One (SurreaList). Due to the controversy of what occurred, I felt that it was necessary for Mike to step down as the Admin of the board with Ill One taking over most of his duties.I think that is unnecessary...
I do a few things on the forums on a weekly basis and some on a daily basic such as update the top of the forums for donations. I added my self back to the admin group, because I felt like it. I don't even think anyone knows my duties because they are all the things which you only see backstage.

Guess I got two accounts and names now
1 - Admin (has been deleted a few times through out its history(not by me), but at one time it was member #1)
2 - Mike the Admin (My down to earth personal account, which I have no idea why I created it in the first place...)

I am not suppose to day that, but I guess it doesn't keep others from saying it. Its a forum, what do you expect? Please spend some time in the site it takes you to if its something useful. I am not sure how they pay besides the number of clicks, but i know some days the clicks are worth 1 cent each and others its worth 5FYI: Public service ads are usless, they don't pay. Its just apart of Gooooogle
