We know. What does that have to do with the topic?

Raw needs a new set.... ...and a new opening song. I mean it worked for SmackDown...

Bret Hart, Undertaker, Kane, Mick Foley, Rock, HHH want some respect too. Did Hogan draw more as part of nWo in WCW did Austin did in WWF? WCW's biggest profit in one year was 50 million(in '98) and Hogan was the focal point of the promotion that year. WWF's biggest years were probably more than twice that, with Austin/Rock being the draws.

Meltzer's take on WWE wrestlers' reactions to Guerrero angle
Jericho2000Mark replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Jericho is a lot more likely to be considered one of the biggest WWE stars of the last decade than Edge or RVD. -
You know why? Because he's Ric fucking Flair! A 60 Year old comedy wrestler that loses 95% of his matches? He's like Gerald Brisco with actual credidentials.
-
Pot. Kettle. Blackest Black. Flair & Michaels are the very DEFINITION of routine wrestlers.

Top WWE wrestler's wife asks him to quit company

Yeah, I can see Rey taking ridiculous amounts of painkillers and roids like Eddie. -
Pete Rose?

Bret? I heard they were in talks.

Aren't Benoit & Heyman Observer HOF'ers?

Wrestler of the Year: Eddie Guerrero, just because he wasn't pushed doesn't mean he wasn't better than everybody else Feud of the Year: John Cena vs Christian Best Brawler: Eddie Guerrero Best High Flier: Isn't Rey the only one who's allowed to be a High Flyer? Best Tag Team: Spanky & Paul London Most Underrated: Charlie Haas Most Overrated: Shawn Michaels & JBL Best Promos: Eddie Guerrero

I tend to believe it, the guy has a track record of shit like this... Rhyno breaks a flower pot and gets fired. Flair flashes his penis to a female flight attendent, gets into a backstage fight with Bischoff, says something obscene on Raw that pisses off Vince and commits a random act of assault...and STILL keeps his job?!

Wasn't Shane a heel barely a month ago?

The difference is that, when motivated, Triple H can still have great matches with pretty much anyone in WWE. John Cena needs a great opponent to carry him to great matches. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Triple H isn't much better than Cena, he can't have a good match either, unless it's a gimmicky garbage brawl or against someone really good.
-
But they're chanting it out of RESPECT if he's a face. I think that's a bit of an exaggeration...he'll at least get on the PPV if he's ready to go. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like he got on WrestleMania 19 when he was still the most popular wrestler in the company? We'll see JBL get a serious babyface push before RVD...
-
I'm not so sure about Angle...hasn't every one of his face runs bombed? I wouldn't mind Big Show, he is pretty over for some reason and his matches are watchable.
-
Who will be the top face on Raw now that everyone is turning on Cena? Maybe they can send over Rey? Just as long as it's not Michaels, Triple H or Flair.
-
You know Shawn just HAD to get his win back from Rey. Fuck this asshole. This could of been a perfect opportunity to make Rey a star and they decided to put over Hickeybottom even more, as if he needs it...

Just because someone isn't huge(or cut) doesn't mean they aren't on roids. Look at Jamie Noble... I'd wager most of the cruiserweights are on roids because they're trying to bulk up enough so Vince may consider pushing them. The only thing keeping Flair's tits from flopping everywhere is the juice.

Smackdown Title situation updated
Jericho2000Mark replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Don't mix up Orton with JBL. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As much as JBL's reign sucked he at least became a credible Main Eventer as a result of it. Orton lost whatever little credibility he had the last time they put the belt on him. I don't see him doing any better this time around since his character has been almost exactly the same for the last couple of years and he doesn't seem willing or able to add to it. For his few fans, that's great. For everyone else he won't shake the stigma of being a complete failure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well if the fans weren't paying to see him, I don't think they really bought him as a credible Main Eventer... Didn't Unforgiven with Orton-Triple H draw better than any of the brand only PPV's JBL headlined? Personally, I think Orton and JBL would both make terrible champions, JBL has a decent midcard heel act but the fans don't buy him in a top spot, as his buyrates were so low, they stood out during a down period for PPV buisiness. Orton has absolutely no place near the main event. Right now he isn't very over at all(or in 2004, like some of you claim), he sucks the life out of any match he's in with his arsenal of restholds and he's done nothing but bore the shit out of me since day one. Booker's act is more over than both guys and he's a better worker than both...if he's stuck in overbooked gimmick matches where his limitations are hidden, you people would no doubt be singing his praises and claim he improved overnight, like you did for JBL and Triple H when they were first pushed and working gimmick matches(or against good wrestlers) every PPV. Rey and Benoit would both make better choices as well. -
Not on roids: HBK, JBL, most of the fat guys

Double post
-
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well having a WWE style match between two former WWE midcarders isn't exactly the best way to differentiate themselves from WWE, or attract a new audience, considering they can watch two hours of that shit every Monday and Friday. It also indicates Jarrett is the weak link for the company when everything else drew better than his match.

Vince/WWE vs. Wrestling New Sites/Net Fans
Jericho2000Mark replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
Since when did the net fans want 80 million run-ins a show, and Non-Wrestler D-List celebrities winning World Titles?
