    TNA tag teams

They should never have broken up Simon & Swinger, especially when the Tag Division was REALLY in the shits earlier this year. I agree that they should also add some of the X-Cup teams to the Tag Division.

The Most Painful to watch matches

Nathan Jones vs Scott Steiner @ WWA Eruption This match was every bit as bad as it sounds. Jones was so awful, his hometown fans TURNED on him! They even had to bring out Sid to start a "Nathan" chant, which was drowned out by the boos. I also remember Steiner giving Jones the single worst sharpshooter I have ever seen. Probably the worst match this decade. Surprisingly, the show was pretty good, despite the awful ME, with the first ever Styles-Lynn match and Sabu-Crowbar(one of the best spotfests that year, but hardly anyone saw).

The One And Only 6/9/04 PPV Thread.

I always assumed it's because he doesn't really sound like someone from India.

News on the WWE Title Match at SummerSlam

Wow... Jindrak is the worst possible challenger I could even think of. At least Holly and Bradshaw have something resembling charisma or heat. Jindrak has NOTHING... his entire offense is a Dropkick and Crossbody, he draws less heat than anyone not named Cade, he's as bland as they come and has a recycled Mid-Card Gimmick.

Best WWE match to take place in Canada?

Why does WWE spoil Edmonton so much? Anyway, having seen those matches live and televised...Benoit-Austin was the best by a landslide. They were doing stuff I haven't seen before, or since.

Buyrate for Judgment Day comes in LOW !!

The problem is he has no opponent people care about, or that can draw ratings. Booker T is still Takers bitch. UT is a face who makes sparce appearences. RVD is a face who couldn't care less anymore about WWE. Bradshaw sucks. And that's it. Yeah, he's really the only regular Main Eventer on that brand, and the only thing resembling a draw. Micheals and Nash usually had Bret to help them out. Eddie is the lone draw on a Brand treated as the B-Show, with one of the weakest rosters in recent WWE history and not a credible challenger in sight. At least Bulldog, Sid and even Mabel(because of the KOTR win) had a shred of credibility, JBL has been a career Lower Card Tag Team wrestler who's biggest win to date is against SmackDown's JTTS, Rey Mysterio.

Buyrate for Judgment Day comes in LOW !!

When Nash and Micheals were Champion, Bret was still the biggest draw in the company. Eddie is the biggest draw on SmackDown by a mile.

The hell, I thought NWO 01 drew great buys...

    John Cena becoming very stale

He would have been better off as a tweener, like Rock in '99...where he was basically the same character he was as a heel, but teaming with faces and fueding with heels.

    TNA World X-Cup Thread

I've been a Devine fan since I watched Stampede on A-Channel 4 years ago. Back then, he really stood out from the pack, before Teddy, Harry and TJ were really any good. His promos were better than anyone in the promotion, and his work in the ring was about the same...but he was wasted away in the Mid-Card fueding with shitty Greg Pawluk, while lugs like Principal Pound and Tiger Kahn were stinking up the Main Events. I remember going apeshit when he worked a dark match at the SmackDown tapings a year later. I'm surprised it's taken him this long to be discovered. He would have made a great mouthpiece for the Canadian Team.

    Vengeance 04 poster inside

Yeah....we could have a Benoit/Randy match! And Benoit can tear his shoulder out of the socket with the crossface and we can have the return of the only thing that Rnady Orton has ever entertained me doing.........RNN! *starts an RNN chant* Now THAT is something I would pay to see... His entire usefulness is to have that one awesome singles match with Benoit, anyway(where he sells like a motherfucker and puts Benoit over). I could care less what happens to him after that.

WWE signs Chad Wicks to deal

It's a bad sign when he can't even properly hit one of the two moves he's allowed to use... BTW, what's the worst looking crossbody ever?
  13. Agreed... His offense drags down his matches and his selling is inconsistent. It's not that he's started to put more effort into his matches or improved, it's that he's facing superior workers who are capable of making him look better than he is. As a worker, I would say he's slightly better than Orton, but below Benoit(obviously), Micheals, Tajiri, Edge and Benjamin.

    Vengeance 04 poster inside

After the Tag match last week, I would pay to see Benoit-Orton...and I'm as big an Orton hater as anybody! They had some great sequences in the match, and I especially liked how Orton sold Benoit's chops and clotheslines. They really meshed well IMO. Before Benoit's reign ends, I would like to see PPV Title defenses against Jericho and Orton.

Workers 3 Biggest Wins, 3 Biggest losses

I would put his Main Event win at WM 00 ahead of his match with Austin at NWO 01. Since it does have historical significance, as he became the first heel to walk out of WrestleMania with the World Title. His win over Jericho is higher than it should be... while he did win the World Title in the "Main Event" of WrestleMania, it began his most forgettable Title reign and was the climax of a terrible fued that nobody cared about, which hurt the heat of everyone involved...Especially Triple H. Not to mention that Jericho was basically booked as a "Jobber with a belt" and a Mid-Card World Champion, so a win over him didn't really mean anything.

Workers 3 Biggest Wins, 3 Biggest losses

I guess those work... Unless tag team losses count, then the Colossal Connection loss to Demolition I think would have to replace the matches against Warrior Also, how did Andre lose to Inoki? Well I downloaded a match between the two on Kazaa, where Inoki won by Count-Out. That could be it. Although I can't see them making that big of a deal over a Count-Out loss. Then again, it did take place 18 years ago, where Count-Out's were more important. I was going to say Demolition too, but they pinned Haku, so I'm not sure it really counts.

Workers 3 Biggest Wins, 3 Biggest losses

    1. Hogan-WrestleMania 3 2. Inoki-NJPW 3. Umm...Warrior? Although it was a series of losses, usually squashes, because Andre was so deteriorated at this point.

Workers 3 Biggest Wins, 3 Biggest losses

Chris Benoit Wins: 1. Triple H & Shawn Micheals-WrestleMania XX...Duh 2. Royal Rumble 2004-Put on one of the greatest performances in Royal Rumble history, broke Backlund's record and was in there twice as long as Micheals in '95. 3. Triple H & Micheals-Backlash 2004..."proved" he wasn't a one hit wonder, and successfully retained the Title in his hometown. Handed Micheals his first clean loss since his comeback. Losses: 1. Angle-Royal Rumble 2003...One of the greatest matches of the 21st century, so far... Recieved a standing O for his performance. 2. Bret Hart-Owen Hart Tribute, Nitro 3. The Rock-Fully Loaded...His first WWE PPV Main Event, where he literally almost won the belt. Another great match that only made both guys look stronger. Defining Moment: Making Triple H tap in the Main Event of WrestleMania to capture his first World Title in WWE.

    Raw Ratings Jump

That's funny, I've heard "Benoit" chants on every Raw he's appeared on since Backlash...

    New School Question Thread

They blew it off on Raw a few weeks before Mania. With Benoit going over clean, I believe with a Diving Headbutt. I guess they ended the fued early so Angle would have an opponent at X-7.

Workers 3 Biggest Wins, 3 Biggest losses

Personally, I would put Foley-Austin-HHH at SummerSlam '99 ahead of the last two. Not only did Foley win the Title(albeit for one night, to transition the belt onto Triple H), but it was Austin's first clean pinfall job since winning the belt. It was also the only time Foley ever won the Title clean, and on PPV...at the second biggest show of the year, no less.

Who does Eddy fight after Bradshaw

That would work if Eddie's first defense on SmackDown after WrestleMania wasn't against Rey...
  23. Jericho2000Mark

Why did you name yourself THAT?

Basically, I was the biggest Jericho Mark in 2000. I tend to ramble on some forums about how WWE dropped the ball with him in 2000 and how he could have been the next major Main Event draw if pushed right...in 2000. He was also my absolute favorite wrestler EVER...in 2000.

What TNA's New National Cable Clearance Means To

TNA's biggest problem IS inconsistency. It seems one week they are catering to Sports Entertainment fans, the next week to Workrate fans and the week after that, to Southern "Wrasslin" fans. That's why it's been hard for them to develop a strong and loyal fanbase.

    Holly/Gunn - Convenience or Potential?

I don't see what the point was in having Shamrock win the KOTR, were they even planning on pushing him to the Main Event?? Or did they just do it to blowoff The Rock-Shamrock I.C Title fued, with Shamrock finally going over decisively, without taking the belt off Rock?
