    Smackdown Spoilers

Can anyone explain to me how Taker kicking the shit out of someone, helps establish them as a credible Title contender?? If they are going through with this Bradshaw push, they could at least TRY To make him look somewhat strong or credible for the PPV. Putting him over Rey is a start, but having him buried by Taker on the same show is counterproductive.

    Bradshaw's latest column...

Coming from a guy who hasn't worked a ten minute match in his life... Coming from a guy who is notorious for raping other guys in his profession...

    Raw ratings takes a dive

I blame the lack of Benoit, and Triple H ruining the Benoit-Micheals match last week, which pissed off a lot of viewers.

The One and Only Raw Thread (May 10, 2004)

Those High Heels make Stacy look freakishly tall...she's about 6"4 with them on, well compared to Gail and Molly.

Who is the most reliable wrestler...

I love seeing him finally get what he deserves. Like that. What happened in that segment with Michaels and Trips when the cameras stopped rolling? Benoit started waving the Canadian Flag, and the place was deafening with "Benoit" chants, then Triple H interrupted and said something bad about us Canucks, he said there was no way he would tap to Benoit again, so he ran into the ring and Benoit made him tap...again(loud "You tapped out" chants BTW). Then Micheals came out and recieved the most heel heat for a wrestler I have EVER heard, live or televised. HUGE "You Screwed Bret" chants. Benoit said not only did he screw Bret, he screwed himself by tapping "tonight". I don't remember exactly what happened after that(had a little drinky-winky), but I think Micheals ran to the ring and Benoit locked him in the Sharpshooter and made him tap.

Who is the most reliable wrestler...

Not sure if this counts, but he got a HUGE standing ovation at Edmonton City Hall a few weeks back, I was there. There were only like 300 people, but EVERY person was chanting his name and it was almost deafening. Heck, I started most of those "Benoit" chants myself. He also got a huge reaction after BackLash, in the Post-Match segment with Triple H & Micheals, but he didn't milk it, so I'm not sure it counts as an ovation. Of course, that was in his hometown. I heard several "Benoit" chants during his Raw matches for the last few weeks.

Who is the most reliable wrestler...

Kane was out from April-September 2002 with an injury... Definitely Jericho. He's never injured, always there, and is willing to(and usually does) job to ANYBODY. He can be relied upon to consistently have good-great matches, cut awesome dramatic or goofy promos at the drop of a hat, and draw more heat than just about anyone on the active roster, face OR heel.

    WWE Rebellion 2002

I saw half the show on one of those Fanatic Series, they left out all the filler matches. Angle/Benoit-Guerreros was pretty good, but they were having better matches on SmackDown. The rest of the matches that I saw were alright. I wouldn't reccomend it or anything.

Anyone have a site for WWE Contracts?

I bet he makes twice that, just from his merch sales.

The REAL Backlash buyrate:WWE press release

Not to mention that it wasn't even one of the Top Drawing matches on the WMXX card, I'm pretty sure more people ordered the show for Taker's return, Foley's first match in 4 years and Brock-Goldberg. Well at least it outdrew Unforgiven & Armageddon...

Bad Blood Main Event announced on radio ad

Didn't catch that Benoit/Rhyno abortion on SmackDown, huh? From what I remember, it wasn't an abortion at all, a couple steps behind an average Benoit match...but not bad. Dull, maybe. As for Tajiri, I thought he had a pretty good match with Cade a few weeks back...CADE!

Championship match for Bad Blood announced

I have a feeling this was made so Benoit's match wouldn't outshine Triple & Micheals...

Obscure Wrestling Matches that were taped

Sounds like bullshit. Because it is. Taping WCW's biggest pay-per-view of the year 2 months before it's supposed to air live? Yeah ... okay. Thought so. I think I read it in Scott Keith's book, "The Buzz on Pro Wrestling", but like I said, I might have heard it wrong. Then again, Scott Keith isn't exactly the master of Wrestling History...

Bad Blood Main Event announced on radio ad

I have a feeling that particular run will be broken fairly soon, barring some Cruiserweight-based miracle at Judgement Day. I thought the same thing at Backlash, and got proven wrong again, and No Way Out had the worst card in years. So now I'm just giving them the benefit of the doubt. When they do me wrong, I'll bitch again. But one thing you have to agree on, the PPVs this year have so far delivered. I'm considering retiring from watching wrestling, but I might just quit the free shows and watch PPVs only instead if they can keep this up (they can't.) Well except NWO had a Main Event between a GREAT worker and a good worker, Backlash had two GREAT workers and an average worker who can be carrried. Everyone knew those matches would at least be good, if not great. The Main Event for JD is between a great worker, who is working injured, and a TERRIBLE worker, who hasn't had a 15 minute match in his life! Who are you talking about here? I'd personally say HHH and HBK are both better workers than Lesnar, especially in big PPV matches. Anyway, you basically made the point I was going to make, i.e. that both No Way Out and Backlash each had two matches that you could see reasonably hitting ***-****: Rey/Chavo, Eddie/Brock, Foley/Orton and the Triple Threat. What does Judgement Day have? So far there's been, what, 3 matches booked - and I'll be surprised if any of them hit **1/2. Right now, I'd rather just watch an episode of Raw than JD. HBK is definitely a better worker than Brock, no contest there. But Triple H hasn't impressed me in the least. He's had great matches because he's in there with great workers who make ANYBODY they face look better than they really are. I don't think he's improved at all, he's simply in there with better talent. I mean RVD, Booker and Goldberg are no Benoit, Micheals and Tajiri, sorry to say... His offense drags down his matches and his selling is inconsistent at times. He cannot carry a good match, but he can hold his own in a decent match and be carried to a good-great match. I guess you can say the same for Lesnar, but his offense doesn't drag down his matches and that's why I would rate him slightly above Triple H. I guess I meant to say Trips is a decent worker, who can be carried to great matches. So to answer your question, Triple H.

Obscure Wrestling Matches that were taped

I heard WCW originally taped Starrcade 93, with the Main event of Sid vs Vader, with Sid going over...but after he stabbed Arn and was fired, they had to redo the show live or something, and hotshot Flair-Vader. But I probably heard it wrong, because I haven't heard it anywhere since. Although I do know Sid-Vader was booked to be the Main Event until that incident.

    Smackdown Spoilers

Well at least they have the chance to edit it out, and simply act as if it never happened, then do an angle where Chavo No-Showed. That's what I'm hoping for anyway...

TNA's Own Version of True Or False

A look back at Lesnar vs Goldberg

It was definitely the biggest Rip-Off of a Match in WrestleMania history. Seeing as how it probably got more people to order than any other match on the card. It was just an embarrassment to watch, and regardless of the reaction Brock & Berg recieved, they could have at least TRIED. You didn't see The Rock lock in a 10 minute resthold when he was being booed against Hogan. It wasn't so much of a match, as it was 10 minutes of grunting and locking up, then trading finishers for the next 5.

    Tyson Tomko Not Liked Backstage

Yeah..WTF is up with those tats anyways...it's like they gotta brand those guys like Vince's own cattle or something....very weird and their moveset is basically the same for most of them...are their any cruisers in OVW for crying out loud? Well there's the Dropkick-Crossbody Machine formerly known as the wrestler Nova.

    Kurt Angle: Should he retire?

Definitely. What does he have left to accomplish anyway? He's headlined WrestleMania, held several World Titles, had a run as the top face and put on some great fucking matches. He's accomplished more in a 4 1/2 year career than some legends have accomplished in 30. It's certainly not worth the risk at this point. Benoit.
