Suggest some Graphic novels and Trade Paperbacks
tbondrage99 replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Literature
Green Lantern: Reborn. Just finished Y: The Last Man Book 9. It was fantastic as per usual, it makes me really sad that the series is ending soon and I only have one more trade to get to complete the collection. I also just finished "Wolverine: Enemy of the State" and the first three Usagi Yojimo books. All are great reads. -
Sure its not really a handful, but I suppose when you look at the long list of wrestlers that there have been since these titles were created way back when, then the claim gets a little more steam added to it. When looking at that perspective than sure of the 1000s of wrestlers who made there lives in the business only a handful had been world champs.

I think Im out of the loop here. Why does Kurt Angle hate RVD?

These new titles look great, far better then the other ones.

I love the fact that The Russian Leg Sweep was more over then most of the wrestlers last night. To bad the chant will never have a chance to catch on.

I believe it's called either "Emerald Dawn" or "Emerald Twilight". Never read it, though. Emerald Dawn is Hals orgin story, and is fantastic. So Im pretty sure it would be Emerald Twlight. -

What's with WWE and undefeated streaks?
tbondrage99 replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
You would be correct. Luger was hyped as Mr All America and didn't lose until his bout against then Champ Yokozuna. I normally don't have a problem with these undefeated streaks, but in Umaga's case, I have a problem with it. Usually the undefeated streak is done with a new guy in the company, whether it be a home grown fresh rookie or someone who recently signed up with the company. With Umaga though, we have a guy who has been in the WWE, and who didn't particularly have a good run of it the first time around. Now that would be fine if, he had been somone who everyone quickly forgot about, but he was in tag team that got a semi-push for a while. I know the casual fan doesn't know that he was Jamal of Three Minute Warning, but to me it's just hard to fathom that a guy goes from that to being the pride of the company. Well according to WWE Umaga has never been in their federation ever before. He got a makeover. Just like Kane when he debuted WWE didnt say tat he acually had been with them before under another name. To be honest in both cases (Umaga and Kane) I don t really tink alot of people remember or even know they are the same wrestlers as Isaac Yankeem DDS and Jamal. In thier cases its much better off to try to not remember them. It would be much less dramatic for example when Kane debuted. "Thats gotta be, Thats gotta be Issac Yankem.... or a Kevin Nash imposter!" Yeah doesnt sound as good as what they went with. -

Does anyone have the list of Stable Entrances yet?
-
Yup Kanyon loves the attention. What will he do next? Say hes gay?
-
How about Shadowcat, yes granted there is nothing cat like about her powers but cat is in her name, does that count for anything?
-
No love for The Black Cat?

Agreed. I admit that over the last few years DC has been excellent when it comes to making B or C level characters excellent, but I have found them all to have a underground following. I dont know anyone who like Vixen, and if not for Justice League Unlimited know of her existance.

I thought that it was pretty good as well. Im quite interested to see where it goes from here. Still though....Vixen....c'mon!

Now that is an awesome cover. Starfire, Animal Man and Adam Stranges story is one of the ones I find the most interesting.
