People can talk about low buyrates all they want but Wrestlemania is coming up pretty soon and it could end up with more buys then any PPV before it. Isnt that usually what happens every year?

I can understand why they didn't put either in the match. Kennedy is going to try to end Flairs career, plus hes on Raw not Smackdown, not that it really matters these days I guess, and they wanted Punk to challenge Chavo for the ECW title. Your right though Khali shouldn't be in it, neither should Big Daddy V. Those guys just seem like they would be pretty worthless in the Chamber match, Personally I would of went with Kane and Shelton Benjiman, or better yet if hes health enough Matt Hardy. Hell if they wanted a big powerhouse they should of thrown in Mark Henry he would be a better pick then either Khali or V as well.

Well I'm sure Cena isn't at 100% Id say hes far from working a full schedule. House shows have to be out of the question still right? He probably wont even have a singles match until the match against Orton at No Way Out.

Dont know if anyone cares or not, but at 254 days MVP has become the 5th longest reigning United States Champion in history today. So how much longer do you think they will let him hold on to it. I would love to see him hold onto it for a year personality.

Well I guess there wont be any secrets about the game anymore after that. I cant wait for the full character list, they haven't even announced Luigi yet and he has to be there right? Also I don't care about the guy at all but why leave Captain Falcon out of this one since he has been in the other two.

I have no problem with a book changing the status qou, in fact I enjoy it quite a bit, but there are alot of problems with this change. First off the last new status qou was still just that, new. You should only change it when you have gotten all of the good stories out of it that you could of. Spider-Man being unmasked still had alot of great stories left in it before it needed to be changed. I have as big a problem with the new status qou because of that as I do with the stupidity of the new status qou alone. Everyone remembering that Spidey unmasked during Civil War but cant remember his face is just a lame excuse, I hope they give it more explaniation then that. Even that fact that other heroes dont know hes Peter Parker anymore is stupid, espically with the fact that hes in the New Avengers. With this whole Skrull Invasion thing about to start up It makes no sense for any of his team mates to want him on the team without even know who he is. That alone should put Spidey as the #1 suspect for the New Avengers. If they dont trust the people they do know then why would they trust someone whos identy they dont know. Also I assume May no longer knows Pete is Spider-Man anymore, which is a real shame I thought May being in on the secret made her a much more interesting character, does that mean she just goes back to being an always sick old woman whos always doting on him? If anyone should remember the unmasking it should be her, otherwise she will go back to being an annoying character that people want to get killed off. As far as Harry being alive again. I dont have a HUGE problem with it because people come back from the dead in comics all the time. Only thing I dont like about it is the fact that now Harry apperently never died which sucks, I always thought Harry had one of the best deaths in comics even if its never really talked about as such. So Harry being resseructed somehow, yeah fine no problem, Harry just not being dead in the first place? Not so much. At least with Spidey not being married anymore hes free to play the feild with The Black Cat.

Just took another look at the Free Comic Book Day Issue of Spidey. Thats a good call, on Jackpot. Maybe that wasn't just a throw away issue after all.

I just finished it. I hated it. I thought it was a big load of shit. I have been wanting Mary Jane gone for a long time, but I was hoping they would kill her off and elevate one of Spidey's classic villains a bit, someone who doesn't get enough credit like Electro, The Vulture, Mysterio or The Scorpion, who SHOULD be The Scorpion again instead of Venom Eddie Brock Venom is WAY better then Mac Gargan Venom. It could really bring them up to the next level. Instead we get a load of shit that seemingly screws up a ton of Spider-Man history. I'm very interested to see where they go with this.

At least Austins name is normal and makes sense unlike Warrior.

Since this folder is in need of new topics toget people using it again and since this is Marvels next big event (I guess) then I figured it would be a good one to talk about. With event burnout I wasn't sure if I was going to be picking this up or not. I'm still not sure about it or not but did at least pick up the one shot that starts it off. I actually liked it enough to guarentee that I will at least buy the Hardcover when it comes out. Anyone else pick it up?

Whenever I hear the theme to 2001: A Space Oddesy I think of Ric Flair same goes for the song Randy Savage used as his theme in WWE.

Im just going on my own bias for this; Wrestler of the year: Edge, Injured or not he was my favorite all year round Worst wrestler of the year: The Great Khali, A year later and he still hasn't gotten any better, I'm sure this trend will continue. Most Improved Wrestler: MVP, He was great last year but I think this has been nothing short of amazing. Most Underachieving Wrestler: Carltio, Do I really need to explain this? Best Tag Team: Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, I like Londrick alot more, but what have they done in comparrison to Cade & Murdoch? Worst Tag Team: The Major Brothers, Up until Armageddon they had done nothing all year but bore the hell out of me. Best Heel: Edge, Orton is a close second but Edge was good all year (despite the injury) and Orton didnt hit his stride until the Cena fued. Best Face: The Undertaker, John Cena and Shawn Michaels were close but Taker just couldnt be beat. Best Diva: Beth Phoenix, Although only around for half the year she didnt need much more then that to take top spot. Worst Diva: Ashley, Im still happy she hasnt come back yet. Match of the Year: Triple H vs. Randy Orton (Last Man Standing), I didnt think a whole lot stood out this year. Worst Match of the Year: Any Batista vs. Khali match, The only one that was ok was the one with Mysterio. Quote of the Year: "I want competition" The Great Khali, If for no other reason then me and my friends couldnt stop laughing after we figured out what he was trying to say. Best Comeback: William Regal, sure he wasnt gone per say but his return to Raw has been fantastic, plus Jericho came back to late to say him. Mark out moment of the year: Jericho returning, Taker winning the Rumble is a close second. Funniest moment of the year: Every time Santino got on the mic. Best brand: Raw Worst brand: ECW Best PPV: No Mercy, Just because it went from peice of crap filler PPV to doing a great job shaking things up after Cenas got hurt at the last minute. Worst PPV: Unforgiven, Just bad all around, even ended up with Batista as champ again afterwards, bla. Best Feud: MVP vs. Matt Hardy, nothing else can even come close can it? Worst Feud: Batista vs. The Great Khali, gave us some of the worst matches of the year. Worst Moment of the Year: Cena retains at Wrestlemania.

I havent finished it yet, but will when I get paid and hit the comic store on Thursday, or Saturday. It will be on top of the pile for sure, I think its been the best event that I have read in a long time. Its nice to see that in a sea of events at least one is great on every level.

Ive been pleasantly surprised by the Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul storyline going on it the Batman books now. Its not great or anything but it is worth a read.

Best Raw all year by a mile, I wanna know what was up with Hogans comment on Savage.
