Funny how they paraded the corpse around in a pot for everyone to see. This'll catch on like Brian Peppers on YTMND.

Throw in a happy tree lithograph and I'll consider a preorder -
Yeah, what Smues said.

I'm a bit iffy on halo halo personally, the overall taste is good, but the texture bothers me at times. Puto is OK in my book, but cutchinta, the orange rice cakes, are a simple but good treat when I can get them (adding shredded coconut on top offends me though). While I'm talking sweets, polvoron was a favorite of mine as a kid though I haven't had it in ages. I'll probably never move out of California since I pretty much need a family member or Goldilocks nearby for Filipino food. Aside from the sweets, the sweeter varieties of longanisa are great in my book as well. And for the record, I do eat balut, kinda sorta. The duck goes in the trash, but I find the taste of the egg yolk pleasing to the pallet with a little bit of salt. And dinuguan is good with rice, but I always refer to it as chocolate meat, so I didn't really know what you were talking about. BTW, Brian, do you have Filipino in you or do you have close ties? I'm a bit surprised about the dishes you know about.

Unless some crazy Japanese programming folks make a batshit insane concept game out of it, something tells me I'm probably not going to be interested. -
Isn't that the shifty fox fellow?

The second part of The Six Million Peso Man got a good laugh out of me for some reason.

As soon as the Inuyasha opening frame popped up and Chuck Norris came on screen instead, I pretty much knew the AS board was going to go down in flames tonight. I'm also surprised they didn't keep the joke going on and just aired the whole run of Karate Kommandos in lieu of the usual anime block. The Chuck Norris April Fool's Prank > The Excessive Fart Noises April Fool's Prank

That's rather insane. My favorite moment has to be the guy on the left taking a hit and using the temporary invincibility to gain some lost ground.

Well, I'm in the Moun. Time Zone, so I get CN 1 to 3 hours behind everybody else. I have no idea why. So, while everyone else is watching Full Metal Alchemist, I'm getting this. I checked adultswim.com. While the West Coast is getting two new episodes of InuYasha, I'm getting this shit!!! No we got Chuck Norris as well...at least I did. Right now, it's Ghost in the Shell with farting noises, which I expect to continue throughout the night. I hate this more than the "Let's draw mustaches on EVERYONE" prank last year as it's far more distracting, though it's gold in a few choice areas.

Nice little additions, but the franchise hasn't done anything that has impressed me in the past few iterations. I've just grown to dislike the Smackdown engine. Honestly, at the risk of going into whiny bitch mode, I'm still waiting for a wrestling fed to re-utilize the AKI engine (sans the shitty "CPU counters EVERYTHING" problem).

Finally got my copy of Beatmania today. I was a fan when my local Golfland still had it so I'm pretty stoked about having it and playing it. The most interesting thing about it is the entire keyboard section of the peripheral is a faceplate that can be detached and turned around, putting the turntable on the right side. It's pretty spiffy if you prefer playing 2P side, or busting out a second Beatmania controller and playing true doubles mode. My friend at GameCrazy did that I we had a blast even though keeping tabs on 14 keys and two turntables is insanely hard.

Sierra College (Junior College) (4 years for two friggin AA's) California State University, Sacramento (2nd year, with around 2 more years to go for the BA) It's been a long and tedious road.

Are you talking about Scott Hall? I remember him getting hit with a drink in the ring square in the head and he proceeded to slick his hair back with whatever drink was thrown. Just an excellent improv moment. Along with Bischoff's "And it still looks good!"

Google my full name and you get the following: 1) About 262 OMGWRESTLINGNEWZ! sites that rip their info from Meltzer's site containing my Raw/Smackdown notes from the 7-4-2005 WWE Sacramento Super-Show 2) Some SWF content. 3) The PuncHHHout pic that I burned my 15 minutes of fame on. 4) A PSX Monster Rancher CD monster list that I contributed to way back in 1997 Thankfully, Google has seemingly lost the data linking me to Sailor Moon...

I played it for a while at GameCrazy. As a first time player, I thought it was a fun game. I spent most my time pickpocketing and robbing people blind.

Ced, you sold yours off too? I just sold mine to a friend. Yeah, I pawned my copy off on good ol' Half.com. Wanted some extra money for Beatmania, which hopefully should be in today (Tuesday).

111 in my area, with one less than a mile away from my house. Funny part was finding 5 registered sex offenders within the same apartment complex, then 4 more in the next apartment complex over.

I owned it for a good three months before I sold it off. You basically harvest stuff to make cash to expand your house and fill it with trinkets. I liken it to Harvest Moon except in real time (the in-game time mimics the time on your DS's internal clock) and without the date sim aspect. There's a few side things like collecting fish and bugs for the museum and using the wireless feature to visit other people's towns. I had my fun with it, but if The Sims isn't your bag, I honestly wouldn't recommend it.

Beatmania for PS2 comes out this upcoming Tuesday and I already put the money down for the bundle. I saw the reviewers at EGM gave it a 7, a 4.5 and a 5, but screw that.

Filipino. Makes me die a little that I can't cook any of the dishes despite being Filipino myself. Pancit palabok and lumpia is perhaps the greatest meal on earth. And serving up some chocolate meat and balut to the unexpecting is always fun. Japanese. Pricey, but delicious. Sushi, shrimp tempura, and unagi don are personal favorites of mine. Vietnamese. Pho bo tai: Tasty, filling and a pretty good helping for what you pay.

Holy CRAP, that was some MASSIVE heat Rock got for insulting the Kings. Sacramento is a huge mark town and the Kings are about the only thing we've got going for us. Depends on the quality and length of the video (Most of the small clips are under 5 MB, while 30 minute videos can be over 50 MB.) but I also suspect network traffic slows everything down at times. For converting FLV to AVI or WMV, I like using the shareware copy of CinemaForge at download.com.
