I had this A&W concoction that was advertised as root beer/ice cream drink but completely lacked the fizz of a normal creme soda. It just didn't taste right to me.

We're losing two starters and a backup. Vlad Tanker is not resigning and Abraham Simpson is being promoted to #1 HB. The backup HB position is essentially vacant as it will be filled in the interim by a CPU. Stick Blinker has been released on good terms. Bull Blaster will be promoted to #1 SS. I'll be releasing Joshua Broughm so he can seek out a new team. The backup QB position will be vacant. I'll take some time tomorrow to write up new contracts for everyone.

Apparently our season's not over yet! I haven't got the details, but we're playing three "scrimmage" games over the next few days, starting today.

Traded a few games for credit at a GameStop a while back. I knew I wasn't getting much credit for them and took what I got. The guy that did the transaction used the shadiest move ever by resurfacing four games he deemed scratched and taking a $4 resurfacing fee off my credit without telling ever consulting me while I stood within earshot. I had to look at the receipt to realize what he had done. I brought it over to him and he smugly offered to refund the credit, but at that point, I was out $4 either way. I heard he got fired a week later due to several incidents of dick moves. I don't say it much, but fuck that son of bitch.

Probably last game of the season, but I'll be throwing everything I can at the Gators in hopes that we somehow pull the huge upset.

Haven't heard anything from him here or at GLB, Broward. JHawk, I'll have a backup position likely available as our current backup is looking for more PT that we can't really provide at the moment.

Inactive status just alerts owners and GMs that a person hasn't logged in within the last 48 hours since games are played every other day. Not a problem until a player goes AWOL for weeks and we've had a few instances of that. If you don't mind, we do need reserve players at the moment. Fished out a FB (since Sideburnious went AWOL) , TE, and a backup LB so far. Definitely nothing special, but they'll level quickly enough; just look how Ortega's evolved as a QB. I've got my sights on a Lv 6 LB and hopefully that fleshes out.

My best guess is that the new energy tactics options are being slightly wonky and taking out starters when it probably shouldn't. When a starting LB gets less playtime than a scrub CPU backup and a #2 WR gets the least playing time of the receiving corp, there's probably something up.

I don't have much free time in until June as I'm in the process of wrapping up my Bachelor's Degree. I'm all for dividing up GM duties so we can all improve as a team. Thoughts looking at the team: - Getting warm, human bodies on the bench is going to be a top priority. Whether it be straight up recruiting fresh players or dealing players around for depth, it should happen sooner than later since CPUs just aren't going to cut it past level 8. - On that note, promoting Joseph Reed to starting center and dealing MGS for maybe 2 or 3 defensive lv. 4/5's is something that isn't out of the realm of consideration. I like feeding my boy pancakes, but trading him for much needed depth could potentially be a good, long-term decision. - Defensive starters likely need to stay in during key points, especially the LB crew since we've got nothing beyond the big 3. - We have a decent generic strategy at the present, but toying around with the idea adjusting to opponent trends definitely should be explored. - I'm pretty much set on taking a $1.5m loan out near the end of the offseason to purchase even more seating for the stadium. More seating => More Money => Ability to finance a stronger team. Also, there would be a quick payoff of the loan once season and advance tickets are sold to get the debt off the books quicker. -Looking at our moderate success so far, I'm confident that I'll be extending my reign as GM when my current ownership is close to expiring.

After a long period of not watching anime, I inadvertently discovered Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei after finding a purported Phoenix Wright anime OP on YouTube. I'm most likely late jumping onto the bandwagon, but I'm loving every minute of what I've downloaded so far.

Right now I've got balanced blocking set for my offensive players. My defensive guy changes depending on where I think the threat is going to be. I go in and adjust the game tactics depending on the team we're facing. I'm expecting us to get our shit pushed in during the next two games (Gators and Ridgerunners) regardless of any strategy sadly. Their talent runs way to deep for us. I'm going to dick around with some settings to try to keep the starters in a bit longer than they have been.

There's this one guy that frequents the arcade/gaming room at my university's union that I've come to recognize as the person I hate most as a gamer. Why he angers me: - Multiple occasions of backseat gaming - Giving unsolicited opinions about a game somebody is playing. - Becoming audibly angry everything he screws up in a game. - Turning up the volume whenever he's playing on one of the 360s and proceeding talk even louder despite the fact that he's talking to nobody. - Blaming lag, game mechanics, "the game being impossible" on any sort of failure. - Hating on Halo 3 since he thinks one shot should kill people then hating on Call of Duty 4 since he doesn't have time to figure out where the shots are coming from. - Complaining about the lack of response on the bass pedal on DrumMania and proceeding to stomp the everloving shit out of it. I shouldn't be able to feel the vibration from five feet away. - Somehow being able to play on a 360 for 4-5 hours straight on multiple occasions at a rental rate of $4/hour. You have to be a registered student to play at one of the stations, which makes me wonder a) why he's even here and b) why he just doesn't buy his own 360.

Any position where a CPU is getting playing time is open. Depth at WR would be nice since we've already got a #1 and #2 HB. Our entire O-line went PANCAKE FACTORY INSANE~! with 54 total 'cakes while Camelot got nothing. The only stinging point? We somehow allowed a sack.

Looking at the current playoff picture, 4th or 5th place would be the best chance at surviving the first round. No way we make it out alive with the big three being the Ridgerunners, Gators, and Arsenal, who are all more than capable of pushing teams' shit in.

Got a message from Vlad that he's got a friend that will be taking the reigns of Tanker in his absence. So we still have a lvl 13 HB and now a fresh backup. Sweet. Defensive backups would be nice, but we're not hard pressed for talent at this point now that the HB situation cleared up.
