I'm actually impressed that we only allowed one TD after seeing them run up the score against the last two teams. I was looking at their roster, and holy crap, having human depth is such an x-factor. Looking at the match-up, it looks like we should've been even, but the calculations definitely don't factor in the bench. EDIT: Craps. We might need another halfback ASAP since Vlad's apparently been called to duty and starts soon.

When I used to work for Hewlett-Packard, I printed up about a dozen sheets of paper with the header "Do not place labels on these bezels" as a note for the graveyard supervisor. When I came back the next day, I found out that she had gone through all of them with a sharpie pen and crossed out "labels" and wrote in big, capital letters "LABLES". Kinda slapped my forehead in disbelief.

I think Annie used some Flex Points and gave her WR the 3 level boost treatment like alot of us did. The other 2 levels were probably game related.

In a bout of craziness, I'm moving Slate over to starting RG as we ween ourselves away from Dustin Reese, whose contract is set to expire in just a few days. Reese hasn't had any input since he was a level 3 or 4, so he's got at least 20 wasted SP on him. Out-of-position penalty be damned, I'm sure an active lv. 9 OT can outperform that.

Quick scan of needs: There's a huge drop-off in abilities when it comes to the defense, especially at LB. Second stringers will be welcome pretty much on every front there. On the offensive end, a #2 RB would be appreciated. Unless one of the FBs comes back around, we have that open at starter.

Searching the free agency pool for more reliable second stringers. We'll see if anything pans out there...

I'm on a road with two lanes for a left turn. I'm in the right lane and another driver's in the lane to my left. The left turn light goes on and we both make the left turn, only the other driver immediately tries to get into my lane, forcing me to stop to avoid an accident. This tends to happen to me once every other week. That's my biggest driving pet peeve next to people coming to a dead stop on the freeway while they try to merge onto the I-80/Business 80 split in rush hour traffic. I also feel negatively about the "God Hates Fags" sign guy that comes onto campus every semester along with the people foolish enough to try to argue with him. And it's the always the people that use the "Shut up you're wrong" argument style that take the bait. I'm not too sure the man would listen to a well-structured counter-argument anyway, but I wish they wouldn't engage him if all they're going to do is yell obscenities.

In my half-asleep daze, I read the caption as "The cops shot by a wild cougar" and that would've been the greatest story ever. Now I'm just disappointed that it was a standard wild animal in the city report.

I shed a tear knowing that Def Jam was a great series until somebody decided it needed a retooling and spat out Icon. Hopefully TNA can at least deliver something decent as I haven't been too impressed by the last two outings of SvR.

From what I've experienced, Japan rarely converts anime into live action successfully. Looking at the pics, I'm going to assume that Hollywood won't get it right either. I'm holding to my expectations that this will be on a so bad it's funny level, but if they somehow make this a decent movie, then huge success.

So we drew the Pirates for a chance to avenge the bad loss in the regular season. Our tactics have changed up and now Geru's up to speed so we have a passing game. Our tactics have been rather successful, but we just fall into a slump in the second half. I think I'm going to train stamina on my guys so hopefully they can stay in longer and contribute more.

14-27 loss, despite that I'm actually pretty satisfied considering it was against one of the top teams in our league. Props to Geru Ortega, throwing his first 2 career TDs and preventing a complete debacle. Seems they focused on our rush attack and proceeded to stuff it badly. MGS is about to become a lv. 8 so I'll be pumping him up seeing as Los Gatos are a bit soft defensively. EDIT: Holy junk, double leveling by upgrading my equipment is completely rad. I'll be sad if me and Gordon don't go all IHOP next game.

Uwe Boll seems like the type of guy that gets off of any form of attention that acknowledges what he's doing. It feels like he's daring people to stroke his ego.
