Really doesn't surprise me. When has pro wrestling ever been accepted by the general public?. Even at the heights of its mainstream popularity, the general public still shit all over it. I really want to know how the question was posed. Surveys and their results can be skewed and twisted so much it's not even funny. I'm also wondering how dogfighting makes the list of hated spectator sports but cockfighting doesn't. Is dogfighting legal and I just don't know it?

Admittedly, I've moved on to other games for the most part, but DDR is still a regular game on my playlist whenever I go to the arcade. I've practiced to the point where I know where my physical limits are in the game in terms of what I can and cannot beat, so I usually just freestyle to the best of my abilities whenever I play now. I wish my local arcade would just fix their DrumMania already...damn dickweed teenagers coming in and breaking the sensors by slamming on the pads as hard as possible...grrrr....

It is plausible that they simply saved the cash they needed for the big events, especially back in the day when front row seats weren't as ungodly expensive as they are today. As for actually getting front row seats, that either takes commitment towards reserving those seats or having good connections, maybe even both.

Simple. Some people are stubborn, persistent bitches in getting what they want. Anywho, only 8 read books for me because I'm illiterate. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger Beloved by Toni Morrison The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton The Pigman by Paul Zindel A Light in the Attic by Shel Silverstein Lord of the Flies by William Golding How to Eat Fried Worms by Thomas Rockwell

Major seafood and sushi eater here. Shrimp, lobster, crab, fish roe, eel, clams, oysters, crawdads, squid, octopus, seaweed and many varieties of fish. Urchin sucks ass though... And lobster is an expensive, glorified version of shrimp in my eyes. However, the green stuff that's found in a lobster is quite tasty in my opinion.

The only way this could get worse is if the telemarketers go RIAA on us and attempt to sue everyone on the DNC lists for trying to drive them out of business.

I guess it's back to me hanging up on them halfway through the sales pitch to make their day...

I won't say I had too many problems with the Last Man Standing match, but it completely killed the heat of the following Triple Threat match. I heard the guy in the upper deck sip his beer and yawn as RVD did a moonsault to the outside. It required a triple-deck powerbomb to wake up the crowd. The other thing that bothers me is that you know he's going to do the big bump, so everything before it is superfluous. Shane might as well jump of the stage as a sideshow attraction and give the rest of the airtime to other matches.

It's really hard to break out of a speech pattern once you're taught your primary language or languages. I'm trying to learn Japanese as a native English speaker and the pace at which they speak is nearly impossible for me to emulate without slurring my speech and butchering the accent. On a side note, my friend was told that her Californian accent was really funny sounding in Mississippi and the Californian accent is supposedly one of the most neutral accents in the country.

To his credit, yes, he does seem much more motivated in Japan. Somehow, he remembers how to work a headlock and mat wrestle while in Japan and moves like the cross armbreaker and STF suddenly appear in his moveset. In a match that Dangerous A showed me, he wrestled against Tatsumi Fujinami in 1994 without Hulking Up or using the Big Boot and Legdrop. As was stated early, it was nothing spectacular, but still mind blowing to see him actually working outside of the WWF/E style. But has he ever jobbed to anybody in Japan? He's won all the matches I've seen of him so far. As for the proposed tag match ups, with Sakaguchi, Hogan and Inoki in the fray, I can't help but think of NOAH's old geezer comedy matches. Just saying.

Another high-profile celebrity couple goes down in flames? My sarcasm levels rise as I say I'm completely shocked at this turn of events.

I faintly remember Raven doing a promo (who was standing in the aisle) on DDP (who was in the ring). As Raven tries to get DDP to come at him, a fan runs up and clubs Raven from behind, knocking him and the mic down. It looked planned until they suddenly cut away. Does anybody else remember this incident?

I have a working NES along with a busted one and a SNES. They gather dust at the moment even since I found an emulator, but I do bust out the NES for some old-school Punch-Out every so often. Converting an NES into a computer sounds intriguing. If I can find instructions on how that's possible, I'd be all over it...except I don't have the cash for such a project at the moment.

I'm simply amazed that a crate that is supposed to contain a computer and clothes but weighed in at 350 pounds didn't raise any suspicion.

In Super Puzzle Fighter II, I beat a guy with one finger on the joystick and not using the rotation buttons at all. Then there was the time that somebody was proclaiming themselves unstoppable on The Grid. Big mistake. I came in and slaughtered everybody, outscoring my five opponents combined in two straight games before walking away. Unfortunately, I get schooled in all fighting games.

The anime block of Adult Swim (InuYasha, Blue Gender, Trigun, and Cowboy Bebop). I like the new episodes of InuYasha but I'm also a major mark for Rumiko Takahashi titles. I'm lukewarm on Blue Gender but the plot twist in the middle of the series has kept me into it. Trigun and Cowboy Bebop are relative oldies but still goodies. The anime version of GTO. I personally like the manga version better. I tried listening to the English dub, but having Cowboy Bebop's Spike and Faye as the voices for Onizuka and Azusa is just too damn surreal and distracting for me so I went with subtitles. I saw an episode SD Gundam. Its celshading style hurt my eyes. And I finally got around to the FLCL tape I recorded when it was on Cartoon Network. It's short and insane but a fun watch with a kickass soundtrack from the pillows.
