Regarding Rando's players, the only problem is at the moment we don't have the talent. I guess I could throw a G and a CPU-owned WR at Manitoba, but I doubt they would bite. Tweaked the depth chart to add recently signed players to it. Looking ahead, next game against Ridgerunners and it's looking to be the hardest game of the season.

I went to the new Lucille's BBQ in Roseville the other day. Hour long wait, but the pulled pork sandwich with their Memphis sauce is one of the best things I've had in the longest time. Looking at reviews, it's a love or hate experience, but it gets a thumbs up from me.

We have fairly good rotation at WR and lv 7 and 8 CPU's are waiting in the wings to relieve Allison and Chriswok. I say it's a risky proposition considering to put Annie into the WR charts since she's the top CB and the talent at corner tapers off alot quicker than at wideout.

My mentality for kick/punt returners is to get some extra play for WR and CB's to help them level. Maybe I should put Onita into the mix?

It's pretty rough to see that we got mauled in the fourth quarter after keeping it close until then. Players with low energy should downgrade their training to "relaxed" in order to recover. Looking at our next opponent, the Cochabamba Pirates, I'm thinking of moving Ian Gordon to left guard to try to exploit their low level DT and DE on that side. I'm also thinking of possibly upping the percentage of runs to the outside in hopes that we run to the left and that Gordon and Guillermo-Sanchez break through the line quick enough to move onto blocking the LBs. In terms of a defensive strategy, they have a decent QB, HB, and #1 WR, all at level 5. Their QB really likes to throw passes for 8-10 yard gains and their running attack can yield big gains if left unchecked. Their right side has a low level TE and T, so that may be an area we could try to exploit.

I'll most likely drop them down the roster since a week's worth of gaming is 3 games. I may just drop them all together or try to pawn them off to another team if I don't see any actions from them soon. That said, Dustin Reese is in danger of losing his spot, and I already dropped Hambone Parker down the chart. Roster Update as of 4-2 Player positions and names in red denote players that may be dropped down the depth chart or cut due to long inactivity. These starting positions can be considered open. Player positions and names in blue denote starting positions that are open. Reserve players are welcome in all positions, but realize that your playing time will most likely be reduced (HB, WR, TE, and most if not all defensive positions), severely limited (like G, C and OT), or practically non-existant (especially at QB, K, and P). WR and CB's in non-starting roles will also be considered for kick/punt returns on special teams. Starting Offense QB - Geru Ortega (Alaskan Postal Worker) HB - Vlad Tanker (non-TSM'er) FB - Bernie Sidwell (Sideburnious) C - Miguel Guillermo-Sanchez (Ced) G - Ian Gordon (iggymcfly) G - Dustin Reese (non-TSM'er) OT - Slate Fistcrunch (oldskool) OT - Gralgstaff Tacklington (Angel_Grace_Blue) TE - Drew "Ironhead" Kincaid (massito) WR - Chriswok Geordie (chriswok) WR - Allison Onita (AnnieEclectic) Starting Defense LB - Steven Simon (redbaron51) LB - Hoji Savagebones (IK Cool Jew) LB - Alex Morgan (UTBroward) DE - Eric LeBeau (Cartman) DE - Burner Aurex (non-TSM'er) DT - Meagan Martin (redbaron51's fiancee) DT - Elliot Machado (Ced) CB - Annie Eclectic (AnnieEclectic) CB - Tony Carlson (CPU - OPEN) FS - Clay Darden (CPU - OPEN) SS - Stick Blinker (non-TSM'er) Special Teams K - Kris Bager (non-TSM'er) P - Tobias Fünke (LaParkaMarka) EDIT: I noticed that some people haven't purchased and/or equipped equipment for their players. Up to +4 to your major attributes is pretty nice and should be taken advantage of.

It's the percentages that we'll run certain defenses as a team.
-
Crap...I accidently hit and confirmed the auto reorder button while half-asleep. Everyone check to see if you're still in the right spot, especially the LB's. On a side note, I created an emergency DT in the event Hambone Parker's user doesn't pop up soon. And I think it'd be a good idea for everyone to change their attribute sharing option to "Team members can view" so we can strategize accordingly.
-
Changed it up slightly so it didn't look like as bad of an unidentifiable mess when it was resized down to 75x75. I think it works for what it's worth. The Gators' owner made new players to buff up his defense with some level 4 DE's and LB's. I don't think it really shows up anywhere, but the stadium name is changable at any time if anybody was interested.
-
My fault for not noticing right away. Unfortunately, your team is human controlled so I'm going to try to give up some players to see if the Cajuns bite. EDIT: And to pass it along: the positions of offensive guard and a defensive tackle are now open since Dustin Reese and Hambone Parker has been inactive for awhile. They'll be moved to #2 if I don't see any activity soon. EDIT 2: New contracts being sent out now. Huzzah! EDIT 3: Whipped up a prototype logo in about 20 minutes using MS Paint and the family crests about 2 pages back. Threw in the football just because.
-
Our running game is rather frightening so running up the gut with Gordon and Guillermo-Sanchez 'caking against the tackles is in order. Then mid to deep passes to really dick with the Gators may payoff nicely.
-
Regarding the LB situation, I'll switch positions if you three think you'd be better to play a particular spot. As far as I can remember for open starting spots: WR#2, DT (usurpable), FS, and CB#2 are still available. I'll add an extra spot for WR or CB as the PR/KR specialist. People that don't mind playing #2 on the depth chart also should apply. I'm keeping an eye on inactivity and bumping up/down players accordingly.
-
I figured the you're the highest level of the LB core and the MLB is usually the defensive captain. I don't know if that really translates in GLB, but that's why you got moved. By the way, IAN GORDON'S HOUSE OF PANCAKES! SEEEEEEERVED~! 4 pancakes from the beast and a piddly 1 from me. Funny that I'm in the league's top ten for the season with only 2 while iggy dominates with double digit 'cakes. Offense is still a bit underleveled, but the running game is getting it done for the time being.
-
Unfortunately I don't see a button where I can switch up tactics to call in kicker when we feel we're close enough to the endzone and willing to chance it. Offense is fairly open for players right now, especially on the offensive side. I've got some flex points to spare so I may throw in an extra player into the mix to help the offensive efforts. I'll put in the change of the team name to Smartmarks FC after I come back from my trip tomorrow.
-
I'm only holding it to one per user at the moment so I can get as many people at starting as the #1 in their position so they can get into as many plays as possible and level up quicker. Right now, it looks like I could bump up to it to two or more players per TSM'er soon if people are OK with potentially being bumped down the depth chart and seeing less playing time or maybe playing kick/punt returner.

Offer is there for your OT, oldskool. I'm going to uphold the 1 spot per TSMer for now, but I might change that up after the next game.
-
K, a DT spot, FS and SS are available to usurp as well.
-
Chriswok: Offer's on the table for your WR. Accept the offer from the Goiania Vultures and you're in. CV: Stockholm refused my initial offer and hasn't turned around with any sort of counter offer. Our next opponent got bought out and got renamed the Orlando Sharks... Here's a updated list so everyone can see what positions have been filled. ---- Offense QB - Geru Ortega (Alaskan Postal Worker) FB] - Bernie Sidwell (Sideburnious) C - Miguel Guillermo-Sanchez (Ced) G - Ian Gordon (iggymcfly) OT - Slate Fistcrunch (oldskool) TE - Drew "Ironhead" Kincaid (massito) WR - Chriswok Geordie (chriswok) Defense LB - Steven Simon (redbaron51) LB - Hoji Savagebones (IK Cool Jew) LB - Alex Morgan (UTBroward) DE - Eric LeBeau (Cartman) DT - Meagan Martin (redbaron51's fiancee) CB - Annie Eclectic (AnnieEclectic) Special Teams P - Tobias Fünke (LaParkaMarka)

I leveled up with that game so hopefully I'll add to the 'cakes in the next game. Blitzing in the middle against us is absolute death.
-
Deal's on the table iggy.
-
CV: Deal's on the table with Stockholm to bring you aboard, but I haven't gotten a response yet. I think FC will be the nickname, now it's a matter of being "Smartmarks FC", "Goiania FC", or another South American city + FC. Pretty sure everyone here that's currently with the Vultures right now is in a starting position. PM me if I missed somebody
-
Hey boys and girls, update time. Looks like my deal with the Eagles fell through so I don't think I'm going to be able to pick up iggy's G until his contract runs out on account that he has a higher level player and we don't have anybody of real value to offer. It's a shame since MGS and Ian Gordon would be a sweet working together on the O-Line. UPDATE: Just accepted a counter-offer and it's pending. O-Line Power Up~! I threw out an offer to APW's QB, and I'll update the list on page three shortly after that. Finally, I want to officially christen the Vultures with a new name, but I want to have a informal discussion before making that final. I've got some positive feedback on using "Smartmarks FC" but I think that would work best as a team/city name, so I'm keeping it open for nickname suggestions.

Answer is that TSM'ers get automatic starting positions in all vacancies. On a side note, IK Kool Jew looks to be the third player in the LB corp, but I'm getting a 500 error so I can't update at GLB right now. I've had a non-TSM guy already ask for a release (a LV 1 HB), so he's probably going to get it. I'm dumping lower leveled human players in positions we've already filled, but I'm holding players where we haven't filled vacancies for the time being. For human players that have higher abilities, they'll be dealt to other non-competing teams for cash considerations, other TSM players and/or backup players. Or cut if I can't find a deal for them. As for a TSM spokesperson at GLB, I leave that spot open if somebody wants to step up. The preceding statements may change sometime down the line, but for now I'm going to keep the team practically all-TSM right now. That said, as long as people keep interest in the game, I promise to tweak the contracts as needed so everyone can continue to improve.
-
When you leave for the next team, you can tell the press how it wasn't about money but simply because you love the game. Grand purge of human non-TSM talent is going to happen soon. Abuse...of...power...WOOO~!

Sulk in the back of your tricked-out Escalades, binge on some fine wine and talk to your entourage about how much everybody in my front office disrespects you. Anyway, I started reordering the charts and I'll get back to it later.
