I was kinda busy over the weekend so I didn't get to jump on the computer at all. My radio came on this morning with a news item that Eddy had passed away in his hotel room. My heart immediately sank, I just can't believe that this could happen. I rushed to work and got right on the board. After reading the thread, watching the press conference I still can't believe this is happening. Godspeed Eddy Guerrero.

I too have been watching the product since the late 80's. When I saw Raw last night, like most nights in the past four years...I really didn't care. Then as I watched the McMahon/JR segment something happened that hasn't before. For the first time every I was actually ashamed to be watching this. I feel horrible about it, and contemplating just simply not going to my friends house next week. In fact I don't think I can watch it for awhile.

Does anybody else think they did this just so they can start where they left off when the left FSN? I mean think about it. AJ is the X division, and Jeff is back on top as the NWA champion. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t like seeing JJ on top no more then anybody else, but to fans who maybe haven’t followed TNA on the net or whatnot, this may be the booking committees way of getting those people to watch again. If you are a casual fan and you are just flipping channels and you see TNA the first thing you might say is “oh I remember this….it was pretty cool” Then they start watching and realize that Daniels is the X division champion, and Raven is the World Champion and they immediately think “Wow I must have missed something.” They then feel like they are not in tune with the product, and would have to play catch up. Which will cause some people to turn it off It’s the same feeling you get when you turn on a movie half way through it. You have absolutely no idea what is going on and will most likely turn it off until you can watch it from the beginning.

As someone who watched UFC from it's beginnings, I admit I was one of the neysayers when Zuffa took over and made all the rule changes, saying MMA would never go mainstream. Now I have never been happier to be proved wrong.

Is it just me or does it feel like it's good to be a fan again? I don't think I have got this excited in about four years. From reading this thread it's sounds like Im not alone. Good luck to TNA UFC and SPike.

The one thing I notice about Vince everytime he shows up to wrestle....is that the man is so damn clumsy. As for Shane, yeah he could do the insane spots to make up for his lack of ability...however theres a difference between doing that once in a blue moon as opposed to every day. To answer the original question I dont think either could hack it as full time even with proper training.
