I doubt it. See the thing is with Molly...she was 'fat'. Of course she wasn't literally, but compared to the other women in the WWE, and actually most of the women in the entertainment industry period, she was bigger. Alexis is not. Hell, she's smaller then Jaqueline was.

Well it was just at a house show, and right at ringside so I doubt many of the crowd saw/heard (unless they have a big screen or something) I doubt he'll be severely punished if at all.

I have to say I do agree with the first statement, which is what boggles me. (I was gonna post something from that thread too). Like.. That's what someone from that board said, and, while I wasn't the biggest fan in the attitude era, that's what exactly what it reminded me of. I mean, it was a time when Vince was sitting in a hospital bed half naked, and Stone Cold came and hit him with a fucking pee pot. Hell that's just as "funny" as this. Now whether that means actually funny, or not, is up to opinion. But that was just as stupid, and yet it's seen as a 'classic moment'. Hell, 'This is your life' is obviously looked on as one of the greater segments in WWE, which wasnt extremely funny, and it went on OVER 30 minutes...Yet I'm sure many people love it. It's just that people's attitudes towards wrestling have changed. I actually don't doubt that if this segment was done in 99, we'd be seeing it again, every year on those Raw Specials, and the like.

Well that's just stupid. Either it was just REALLY horrible, or it wasn't. There is no 'well it was building to a match, so its ok'. So you're telling me that if at Survivor Series, JR faces Vince in a match. Well then now to everyone who hated this segment, it should be ok because it was building to a match? Lol.

Ross is still fully employed with the company, just not in an on air capacity. He *knows* they were going to do this. It's like having an employee on a suspension of sorts and then while he's gone, the company just publicly buries him. Just unfair as hell. I sure hope he knew they were going to do this, to take it a step further I hope McMahon showed a little compassion and made sure he was ok with the angle before they went ahead with it. Then again though, Ross seems like the kind of guy that will pretty much put up with anything so that point is kind of null and void. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But Ross OK'D it. You have to know there was no way they'd do the angle without his permission. And from what was being said way before this angle even started, JR was the one who decided to just take a backstage position. So it's nothing like a suspended employee. It's no different the Magnus, allowing the WWE to make him into a 'terrorist', or Jillian allowing them to use her as nothing more then a joke, and Billy & Chuck allowing the WWE to make them into gay guys, etc. It's a matter of Jr saying yes, or no, more then likely to the angle. So if anyone should be mad...well, it's nobody, except maybe Vince, because smarks didn't like it, but then again, most of them stayed tuned in, so I doubt he gives a shit.

Neither are birth defections, but they're doing that over on SD aren't they? None of these angles are more fictional then another just because they picked a random name out of a hat, rather then using a real one.

All arguements aside, I just dont see how this concept works. Yea, like necrophilia isn't real. Like people haven't been set on fire in real life before. Like someone hasn't try to pee on someone's casket for real. (>_>) I just don't see how any of these angles are more offensive then another because their 'simulating real life', when technically all of them are from things that are "real"

You might as well start watching Japanese wrestling, cuz TNA ain't much better. Well, come to think about it, Japan is in a slump now too. They don't have storylines completely revolving Don West. Wrestling doesn't suck. For instance I could say.. 1. The wrestlers that they don't limit, seem to only be the lower card guys. (Well, Xdivision is technically lower card) 2. True, but Larry Zbysko does make a pretty damn pointless, and annoying, appearence every week. edit- Not to mention they only have 1 hr a week, so they're already cramming, they don't have room for that. But when they did have 2 hrs, a lot of their shows were based around fucking Vince Russo. (Albeit AJ got a title reign out of it so that was good) And that's just as bad as Mcmahon. I'm a TNA fan too, but damn, it's still far from being "great wrestling"

They've actually been there for quite a while now.. That's to say I can't understand why people get so pissed off when WWE pulls off these stupid segments (especially those who say they're gonna stop watching) when wwe ALWAYS pulls off these stupid segments. It's nothing new. Those that would stop watching tonight should have stopped a long time ago. The 'golden age' of wrestling, had plenty of stuff, just as crappy though..

I understand it in theory, for the here and now at least a bit, but can't people (including Vince), see that he just can't last for the long term like this? He's absolute shit in the ring, and he has one of the most tired and idiotic gimmicks of all time for a main eventer. Yeah, a feud between two 50+ year old non-wrestlers, the skit itself taking time away from those who actually need it. No, this is not about being uptight. This is a wrestling show. Wrestlers should be wrestling or cutting promos. The Chairman of the Board should not be involved in a skit making fun of the announcer's real life condition.
