When what happens backstage/IRL ruins a match/angle for you.

That one bothers me regardless of any real life situations. I can't recall any really. If it's bothersome, then it is on its own merits.

    WWF/E Tidbits from the past

Given WWE's extreme willingness to bring in Samoans, I would imagine Tama simply did not want to continue wrestling/touring on a full time basis. I never even saw him pop up around here in Afa's promotion.

    Spring Training 2009

The problem is that while Griffey posted that OPS last season, Francoeur was 100 points south. Given the Braves' outfield options, a left handed bat is an ideal fit. And the contract is really pocket change.

Perhaps Jeff Francouer walked into camp and it reminded them they had something left on their to-do list.

Inducted by Dusty. I'm pretty sure a fair portion of the crowd knows who Terry Funk is.

Yeah, 1950s is oddly a better era for surviving wrestling footage. The Dumont archives are still around, though I don't know who owns that footage.

I think what I find troubling in this is the idea that society can take away one's children when it sees the parents mentally unfit. I mean physical abuse is one thing. But in other situations, is this what a free society is all about?

    Sirius XM: Bankrupt?

I doubt they'd dishonor a long term service agreement, that'd be seriously bad PR. Now if they CEASE operation, you're out of luck.

    Sirius XM: Bankrupt?

I was ticked that they raised rates on the family plan radios, specifically after promising not to raise rates. "It was only promised not to raise the base rate." Meanwhile service has suffered. The MLB package is the only thing that keeps me attached to satellite radio.

Going through this draft, I think 50% of my criteria is long term potential. I'm only moderately concerned with 2008 performance.

    Greatest Living Ballplayers

From time to time I've tried coming up with an MLB Dream Team. Always a fun idea, but it leads to a lot of tough cuts. Particularly when it comes to an established ancient player like Honus Wagner or Babe Ruth where the statistical evidence is overwhelming. If we limit the player pool strictly to surviving players though, we get players who are still relatively fresh in the memories of the fans. Players of whom we actually have footage. Let's see what we come up with. LINEUP C: Johnny Bench 1B: Stan Musial 2B: Joe Morgan SS: Alex Rodriguez 3B: Mike Schmidt LF: Barry Bonds CF: Willie Mays RF: Hank Aaron DH: Frank Robinson BENCH C: Yogi Berra C: Mike Piazza IF: Frank Thomas IF: Cal Ripken IF: George Brett OF: Ken Griffey Jr. OF: Manny Ramirez UT: Pete Rose STAFF SP: Roger Clemens SP: Greg Maddux SP: Tom Seaver SP: Randy Johnson SP: Pedro Martinez CL: Mariano Rivera RP: Goose Gossage RP: Rollie Fingers RP: Bruce Sutter RP: Dennis Eckersley RP: Billy Wagner P: Sandy Koufax P: Bob Feller M: Earl Weaver Feel free to come up with NBA, NFL or NHL versions if you wish. Or post criticisms of this one.
