I'm in favor of the draft time between picks being lowered to 6 or 8 hours just to get this done. I don't see this draft getting done by opening day unless we get this moving. I know thats not much time espeically during the early am hours, but I personally don't care at this point if any of my pick were skipped just so the draft could move forward. Also, I was considering Tom Gorzelanny. Christ man, I didn't realize he was that much of any ugly looking fucker.

Here's an idea. Couldn't we all just pm our top 5 choices or so for the last rounds to MJ and see how far that will take us into the draft before we hit a snag? I could see that taking us through at least 2 rounds pretty quickly. It's just a thought.

Gary Matthews Jr OF, Angels At this point, everything is high risk so I might as well give him a shot.

Agreed. I was actually slightly confused when HarleyQuinn wasn't originally in the league. It just wasn't the same without the Gotham Harlequins. I don't want to jinx it, but it seems like we've been making really good progress in the draft since about Thursday.

Ok, My pick will be up in the next few minutes.

I know I have a pick at some point but Chris is before me unless he has a keeper. It'd be helpful to have the draft order for the next round up before the round actually ends that way the draft can keep moving. EDIT: The round is up now.

Doesn't mean he'll be up on the big league team though. See the red "NA" next to his name? That means he's not actually up yet and would be effectively just holding a roster spot. Like I said, I did this with Delmon Young most of last year. Yes I know. I'm well aware what Not Active means. Yahoo doesn't add every single minor league player too its player pool. When people are talking about drafting a guy that isn't even in the player pool yet, they are talking about claiming the rights to be the first team to add him once he is available to add. A good example is BJ Upton's brother. Or are guys that aren't even in the Yahoo player pool yet completely off limits to draft? If a guy is in the player pool and listed as NA they aren't claiming the rights. They are essentially adding a player that may or may not be on the opening day roster. There is a difference.

Homer Bailey is in the Yahoo! player pool so he should be on his roster at the start of opening day.

You've been building this mystery guy up a lot...

I was going to take Gordon next round. He should be a good pick. Maybe not this year but if he can start from opening day he'll be solid.

Zito changed his delivery because he wanted to better utilize the lower body strength that he gained in the off-season. The Giants pitching coaches were concerned with the delivery because they said the delivery completely different than his old delivery. The motion was putting added strain on his body. Since Zito just got signed for a massive contract, they didn't want him changing things and adding more wear and tear on his body. San Fran's pitching coaches convinced him to change back to his old motion.
