Hart-Austin. I'm interested, for those of you that listed others for those two, what makes you think they're above it? Those of you that went with Bret-Owen, for example.

This should be interesting.

1995 is, in financial terms, the worst year of business WWE is ever done.
-
That's hilarious. Dusty is gold.
-
Keep in mind that "low" periods are different now. Raw pulling in the mid-upper 3s may be a slump compared to 2000, but compared to 1995 it's astonishing.
-
Awesome. Thanks.

Access to the WWE tape library for one day would be the ultimate contest prize.

Both the Eugene and HHH commericals are now on the WWE.com main page.

This week's edition of Raw did a 3.7 cable rating, with a 5.5 share. The show did hours of 3.6 and 3.8. The CSI lead in did a 2.7 cable rating, with a 3.8 share while The Ultimate Fighter that followed did a 1.5 cable rating, with a 3.2 share. The WWE Experience did a 0.5 cable rating, with a 1.3 share. Heat did just a 0.4 cable rating, with a 0.5 share. Velocity did a 0.5 cable rating, with a 1.0 share. Credit-PWInsider.com Holding steady, as usual. I'm assuming we're going to see ratings increase, albeit slightly, as Mania gets closer

Yes. The Bret/1-2-3 Kid Raw match in the General Wrestling thread made me nostalgic. for the days when Waltman could work.

I met Hulk Hogan at a North Carolina Airport in 1991. I was only 7 years old, but it was the coolest thing ever. I got a picture and everything.

Oh the things you find when you never get around to clearing your AIM cache.... Best.Photo.Ever.

I was actually just talking about this match in the X-Pac thread. I hadn't seen it in a while. Thank you very much. Also, if anyone would like the following re-upped, I can do so tommorrow night: Flair vs. Sting Clash 2005 Royal Rumble match(yeah not old school I knowm but still

A motivated X-Pac was good, and could put on a ***+ match on a fairly regular basis. Specifically, I'm a very big fan of his match with Bret on Raw when he was the 1-2-3 Kid. The problem was, his character became stale, and he became very unmotivated and started to work matches in the *-** range for years. I've heard his recent TNA run saw him get motivated and working again, but I haven't seen. Actually, this thread has inspired me *puts X-Pac in sig*

I want a Bret Hart DVD. Very very badly. Of course, realistically, I can't see it happening anytime soon.

Ask and ye shall receive. Steve Austin vs Bret Hart (Survivor Series 96) I love Fook.

http://www.wwe.com/inside/title_history/ This is somewhat interesting, as I believe the old site was shut down right before Brock, as Champion, became exlusive to smackdown. Perhaps now they'll even include ECW and WCW histories. AWA, even.

Had you asked yesterday I'd have gladly done it, but I deleted it off my hard drive.
