Agent of Oblivion threatened to ban Banders, so he wins by default.

I'd be in favor of the 3 locations, even 2, if it could be pulled off. and yes, I agree, that cage match is excellent. Has anyone seen the WWE 24/7 schedule this month? They're showing old Rumble matches in their entirety.
-
Have a controversial ending and vacate the title, and put it on the line at the Rumble. It'd be an excellent way for a Raw superstar to switch brands.

Prediction : This show does 150,000 buys. Maybe even less.

I agree completely. This is why Wrestlemania does so well every year: The fans know its the big blowoff where all of the faces tend to go over. The fans wanted to pay to see RVD/Rey go over, so wants to pay $35 for a match that they have 3 days before the show, where the faces have already won.

Shawn could bump, especially against big men, better than almost anyone I have personally ever seen. Badd Blood 97, Survivor Series 96, SummerSlam 96. Heck, throw Mind Games in there too, even though Foley isn't that much of a "big" man. Other than that, overrated? Yes. Although I'm oneo f the few that really enjoys the Bret/Shawn Ironman.
-
Ah, OK. Yeah, all they have at the moment is the Intercontinental Title. They're doing a gradual roll out of histories. Next is the Smackdown tag titles.

Perhaps Sycho Sid was trademarked?
-
That was at Vengenance. Which was in December. Correct. Extra matches with PPVs tend to be in the month that the PPV is being held, regadless of show name.
-
How was that match anyway? I never saw it.
-
My take: Vince and Co. saw the buyrate for Taboo Tuesday and saw how a main event of an "extra" ppv can draw poorly. AN unannounced one at that. The Rumble is a traditional "big 4" PPV. It's going to do well in the buyrate department. To convince people to shell out for an extra PPV, you need a good storyline, hence the vacated title. Bishcoff isn't going to anounce an Elimination Chamber, it can't work on a single brand PPV. The undercard would be utterly horrible. A mini-tournament would sense. Why? Becasue a 4-man tournament gives us at least 3 matches for the PPV, and if it involves any combination of Edge, Orton, Benoit, Jericho, Triple H, all the matches have the potential to hit ***+. However, I'm not totally sure what they're going to do, though. One thing I do know though, is that this angle DOES have my legitimate interest, something that hasn't happened since Wrestlemania XX.

On last week's Raw, HHH was not involved in the finish of the Triple Threat match. WIth jericho as GM, does this knock Hunter out of the running completely? Is it just so they can give him another title reign by having him win it back at New Year's Revolution from Benoit, thereby getting his job back and then dropping it to Orton at WM 21? Is it possible that they're building to something other than HHH/Orton for the WM 21 main event? HHH/Batista perhaps? Thoughts on this, anyone?
-
Well, even if it's only a transition reign, I'm marking if Jericho wins the title. Also, there has to be reasoning for this. Logically, if they're building to Orton/HHH for Mania, Orton would be GM last yes? I'm really hoping we're given a solid reason as to why Christ got to go last.

HHH got his "job" back at Survivor Series. No, is was Edge that pinned Benoit at Survivor Series. From Prowrestlinghistory.com: Randy Orton, Maven, Chris Benoit, & Chris Jericho beat Triple H, Gene Snitsky, Batista, & Edge (24:31) in an “elimination” match. Orton was the sole survivor. Triple H pinned Benoit (7:24). Jericho pinned Batista (10:39). Snitsky was DQed (16:05). Triple H pinned Maven (16:50). Edge pinned Jericho (19:04). Orton pinned Edge (22:59). Orton pinned Triple H (24:31).

There was a Womans match on that card? Heh. Trish Stratus beat Victoria and Jazz (7:17) in a "triple threat" match to win the WWE Women's Title when she pinned Victoria.

I'm glad No Way Out is a Smackdown PPV. Otherwise I might be sad that I can't attend.

November 15, 1999: Norman Smiley defeated Jimmy Hart in a hardcore match...Creative Control defeated Booker T....Evan Karagias pinned Johnny Boone...Sid Vicious interfered in a Pinata match. The particiapants were: Silver Kinf, Villano V, El Dandy, Psichosis, and Juventud Guerrera...Bill Goldberg pinned Curt Hennig...Berlyn and The Wall defeated Vampiro and the Misfits...Sid Vicous and Rick Steiner fought to a No Contest...Jerry Flynn defeated The Barbarian in a No Disqualification match...Asya defeated Kimberly Page by Disqualification...World Heavyweight Title Tournament Match: Chris Benoit defeated United States Champion, Scott Hall...World Heavyweight Title Tournament Match: Bret Hart defeated Billy Kidman...World Heavyweight Title Tournament Match: Jeff Jarrett pinned Buff Bagwell...Eddy Guerrero and Konnan defeated Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn in a House of Pain Match...Sting pinned Lex Luger...Kevin Nash and Sid Vicious fought to a No Contest in a street fight match. Jerry Flynn going over the Barbarian is amusing. Also, that Hart/Kidman match sounds interesting. Anyone remember anything about it? was it good?

He gets an A for effort. I would never have the time or the patience to do that. Plus, his Divas "match" went on for longer than any one in recent WWE history.
-
What? I want to know more about this... July 24, 2000: General Rection and Cpl. Cajun defeated Rey Misterio Jr. and Disco Inferno, Mark Jindrak and Shawn O’Hare, and Chuck Palumbo and Shawn Stasiak in a "Four Team Caged Heat Elimination Match"
-
Very good point. I stand corrected.
-
HBK vs. Rock or Angle Those are the only two "dream" matches left, we need one or both before they cease to be potential ***** clinics. and if JBL main events WM I'll cry.

Perosnally, I'm watching for the main event. I was never much of a fan of Rhyno or Tajiri, but I've become a mark for the team since they've been paired together this year.
