Some wrestling specific terms are quite obvious. "Blade" for example, is called such becasue that's what the wreslter does, he blades. Although, I was wondering if anyone could give me any background info on the follwoing terms, as their origin doesn't seem as obvious and I was curious as to where they came from: Kayfabe mark shoot heel face

I always found this amusing, as Michaels, if the injury actually was faked, thought he was getting himself out of something. What then resulted was one of the greatest matches in North American history and further solidified Steve Austin as the future star that he would become.

There's nothing wrong with her putting on weight. The only issue I have with those pictures is that she looks as if sje may be putting her health in danger. I don't mind weight, but when it puts your personal helath at risk, it's better to be on the thinner side. Not the stick she was before, but slimmker than she is now. there's nothing wrong with going from being the human stiuck to a healthier weight, that's normal and fine. It's when you start creeping into overweight and obese, which by the looks of the 2nd chin on Tammy she looks like she's doing, then cioncerns about weight and health and disease risk should be brought up.

I actually downloaded this match from Sledgehammer, in its dying days. There were really no rules to the match. Nothing anonunced, nothing explained during, and nothing really explained after, either. They played up the 8 heels as "the Alliance to End Hulimania" if I can remember correctly. they also played Z-gangsta up big as coming back to try to kill hogan. The match itself is just BAD. it's such a horrible convulted mess. It's honestly about -****. It's just THAT bad. I c an't believe I actually watched the entire thing, to be honest. Savage pinning Flair(?) at the end was a total afterthought. I think the line of thinking was "Well we've already escaped and fought outside of the cage, so us leaving won't end this thing." So savage ran back in and got the 3 count.

Well then, looks like I'll be watching Smackdwon for the first time in 8 months.

I don't know, but I'd mark out for it. Whether it would have any lasting meaningful impact beyond that is another story. Probably not.

Ok, I missed it, what happened?

As you all know courtesy of last night's Smackdown, the big show will soon be returning. Now, my question obviously is, what do they do with him? i'm wondering if they can somehow get that truly monster heel vibe built around him like they've only captured a couple of times before. They've kind of dropped the ball with Kane in that sense. and I don't mean Triple H-ish monster heel. I mean the " I am huge and can crush anything in my path" type heel. Kind of like Zues in No Holds barred. the kind of guy that just absolutely terrifies you. just bring him back and run 2 and 3 on 1 handicap matches for two or 3 weeks, and jsut have him DESTROY people. I hope they can pull it off with him, but I can see other idea working for the character as well. Do they play him face and bring up his imjuring of angle? Do they totally disregard all past history? There's multiple options.

When you're praising and touting your tape library and past events more than your current product, that is a problem. Also, does anyone know when their contract with Spike expires?
