Announcing matches ahead of time=build up and anticipation. build up and anticipation=people watching. people watching=ratings So either: A)Vince and co have not figured out the above or B) they're not motivated enough to book the show more than one day in advance

Dude, those Hurricane/Rock segments were GOLD. Ok, so that's only one particular case, and it was The Rock, but hey, better than nothing. Additionally, there's nothing wrong with the fact that Helms could never get above IC title level. What's wrong with having a solid IC division? I mean, that hasn't happened in a while.

I'd love to see, by some miracle of god, the Bret/Flair Ironman on that DVD. that would be amazing, as I've heard great tihngs about that match, and on one I've spoken to about it has rated it below ****.

As far as I know, speculation. it makes sense though. Helms, the face, loses to flair, the heel, cleanly. Helms feels dejected and realizes what Flair said about him being a joke and not taken seriously is true. and bam, perfect reason for a gimmick change.

I really hope this happen, as the owen and iron man matches are already on on other DVDs, and would jsut take up space(especially the Iron Man match) I'd be pleased/surprised if they put the waltman Raw match on there.

I agree. Hwever, the first 10-12 pages were some of the better discussion that I've seen on this board in quite a while. So props to those people for acutally having interesting constructive discussion.

Awesome's mullet returned in MLW last year, but it looked sloppy compared to how it used to look in ECW. It doesn't help that he's sucked since his latter WWE days, either. I was a fan of the Tanaka/Awesome matches in ECW.

He was scheduled to be the NWA World champion and take the belt from Flair in '85 actually, but he no-showed the taping where the angle was supposed to start because he was at home strung out on cocaine. True story. Well there goes HIS credibility in this situation...or any future one for that matter.

Landel's comments mean nothing. "Bret is a robot." Ok, how? why? when? In his selling? in his style? in the way he tells a story in the ring, the way he moves? what? That statement by itself doesn't mean anything. there's nothing that comes after it that's of any value.
